But the reality is with all the evidence we have and all the information we have (which isn't a lot btw) we can deduce how we came into existence. Even if it is improbable. Depends, if it is cystic fibrosis or something that is on the syllabus then no but if it is a disease not on the syllabus then yes they will tell you if it is recessive or dominant.
