I always did the heist the ' hard way ', with no shortcuts; failed it a couple of times, because I got killed. It's nice to see some alternatives. Another great video! Huntley Sport is my favourite vehicle in GTA IV. :)

i completed the mission first time. How is it hard? You just kill cops, run, get on a car and escape. Although i was a bit lucky while escaping 3 star police.
I called Dwaynes homeboys and they did a better job than packie and Derrick lol. When we had to get a car Niko, Packie, Derriclk, and one of Dwaynes homeboys got in too. The other one couldn't fit and stayed behind fighting off the cops. Rest in peace to that OG😂🙏
@@papapeli6272 yeah if you hangout with dwaynes like go eat and stuff once he gets your respect like 85% or sum he will tell you you can give him a call if you need backup. It gives you a option for him to send you 2 of his goons to back you up at any time. Really helpful with hard missions

Easiest way to beat this mission is to date Kiki Jenkins. Get her fondness all the way up & as soon as you exit the subway call her & use her lawyer ability to immediately drop the wanted level
If you have another weapon equipped (like an RPG) before encountering the chopper before entering a subway. Niko will shoot it in the cutscene. Sometimes the RPG will blow up the chopper.
For Tunnel of Death: 1. Destroy the Truck 2. Destroy the Police truck 3. Kill Packie 4. Abandon Police Truck 5. Abandon Packie and Aiden Then fail the mission to call Derrick.
This mission was so intense. However I have some bad early memories playing this mission for the first couple times...because I managed to allow Niko to get hit by the train when shooting at the pursuing NOOSE agents when entering the tunnel. That was a huge facepalm.
i almost forgot in this mission. if you step on the hostages before shooting them they will die instantly without failing the mission. and you can do what you wish with them.
It would have been great to show also if the mission would have the benefits of the friends/gf's favors. Like bringing a six-men heist with the help of two Dwayne hustlers (calling them before you reach the yellow marker in the bank), asking Kiki to clear the 3-star wanted level before reaching the service entrance or calling Muhammad to pick you up in a taxi. :P
I’d definitely see a GTA 5 prologue situation in this mission. Niko seems to know enough cops and government agents in Liberty City to go into witness protection in Vice City.
After the mission you can call roman and he will talk about a big bank job on the news u forgot that part and trying to call Kiki to get the cops off u
This is another weird thing. Get out of the subway station. Get to the conviniently placed getaway car. Lose the heat and go back to the bank. You'll see that the bank is still open and the alarms are still ringing. Go inside, you'll see people standing as customers and Luis Lopez as the only one doing a prone (lol). Shoot atleast a bullet or shoot one of the people and the heat as the same outside will happen again. You'll have to get a car co'z the subway and the street chase will never happen again.
Happy to spare you from going thru that trouble :) In time I hope to do all the missions... with an avarage of 2 a week I wonder how long it would take me to do all IV, TBoGT and TLaD (if you plan on doing the math then keep in mind I did 21 already :P )

Simply going to another station doesn't help much. If you walk down subway tracks far enough you can walk out of the 3 star range without even fighting anyone.
Fun fact: If you use a bus 🚌 as a vehicle at the start of the mission, and you call Dwayne’s backup, everyone will enter the bus except the 2 backup dudes, even if this a fucking bus with A LOT of available sits lmao Unlike in GTA SA, where you can carry on the bus big groups of Grove Street members. I know you can call them just before entering the bank, but It would’ve be dope to see all the squad in the back
I played this game for the third time and while i was playing this mission i tought to myself "huh, i never checked back if luis was still inside the bank" so i checked it and saw luis on the ground. Then i tought to myself "i wonder if i can shoot luis..." but then i tought "meh even if i can it will probably get this mission failed anyways" and so i tried shooting him in the head. He died. No achievement, no mission fail, no nothing. I was dissapointed. Edit: I just relized, if they had killed Luis in the bank, The missions "Museum Piece" and "Collecter's Item" would go smoothly because Luis wouldnt be there to prevent the the deal from happening.

Then i tought to myself "i wonder if i can shoot luis..." but then i tought "meh even if i can it will probably get this mission failed anyways" and so i tried shooting him in the head. He died. No achievement, no mission fail, no nothing. I was dissapointed.
Edit: I just relized, if they had killed Luis in the bank, The missions "Museum Piece" and "Collecter's Item" would go smoothly because Luis wouldnt be there to prevent the the deal from happening.
