I should let you know that you should look up grawnk munch achievement. It can only be done during wintersday. The scavenger hunt that follows it can be completed at any time. Once you finish, you get a christmas tree in your home instance/homestead.
second this. im currently doing this quest myself as I found out it gives you a converter 'star of gratitude' item that can be used to clear out your inventory of a certain late game item that just piles up in your bag. I highly recommend everyone reading this to look up a 'star of gratitude' guide and do the first part of the quest that you can only do during winterday event to make sure you get it and don't have to wait a year before its available again.
That "boss" was a strike mission which is level 80 content. Inside you are upscaled to 80, but obviously you did not have a full build yet. To be quite honest, I think you did great in there. Specially considering this was your first in stanced content with end game mechanics. Wonderful video, and really entertaining to watch.
It was fun watching you check out the event! There's daily achievements and general event achievements for the event under your achievement tab that can give you some skins and spending Karma. In case you didn't find it, There's a person who sells toy swords, slingshots etc standing next to the guy selling wrapping paper. buy 15 or 30 swords and 15 or 30 wrapping papers and you can trade those for gifts to give the orphans around the city. 15 a day will give you an achievement, and if you get all 30 it's another achievement and a lot of Karma.
Wintersday is such a fun event, it has a really enjoyable variety of different activities. It was a lot of fun watching you discover them ... hope you keep having fun with them!
Glad to see you are having fun. Enjoy your time, take it slow, you dont need to "catch up" like other MMORPGs. Enjoy your journey through Tyria. Have a merry wontersday. ❤🎉
Another fun video! Pleased you got to experience Wintersday. The festival events in Guild Wars 2 is what I look forward to and Wintersday is one of the best (in my opinion). You did great with the Snowman boss, considering you don't have end game gear (did you open the chest at the end, before you left the instance?). And...wow, the bell choir is something you're great at. 🎀Happy Winterdays🎀 to you and your family!! 🎄🎅
One of the favorite festivals, map complitons is fun with those gift. p.s. my bruther just tells mr that wen that first apeared you xould not alone open the gifts. It would be 15-20 scrits and thay where mean, its ment like small group activity. Thanx for the video⭐️🐣⭐️
Yay! glad to see you enjoying the festival events, you missed snowball mayhem tho, I hope you try it I think yo gonna like it. Oh, don't say that ( 22:25 ) you're still learning and I can see you're not used to moving around, GW2 combat (even as a caster) involves a lot of moving around and dodging, but don't feel pressured you'll get used to it as you play more. Your crafting materials go to the bank (bag icon on city maps) or 'Account Vault' (there's a special tab called 'Material Storage' that lists all obtainable crafting materials (don't freak out when you see it, there's a LOT of them) also there's a tab named 'Wardrobe' where you can see/preview almost all of the available (unlocked or not) skins for all 3 classes of armor, outfits and weapons. Happy Holidays!
I may be amazing at the jumping puzzles in this game (I'm really not, but I've played for so long I have gotten used to them and enjoy the challenge) but I can never do the bell choir right at all. xD I salute your superior rythm game skills. :D
😂 I thought so too since I've been playing for years GW2 (but tbh, its my first winterday fest somehow 😮) and I died most of the time dringend the bell game 😂😮
I don't find the bell choir all that difficult. The trick is to put both hands on the key board and use the 1-9 keys like a piano key board. And try to get the lower parts, they are a bit easier. The upper parts are the hardest unless you are a musician irl who is really good at playing by ear, than those are the easiest. I also try to get as much of a top down camera angle as possible so I get a good overview of the approaching bubbles. And than you just need to practice getting the timing right. You need to hit the keys when the bubbles disappear at the bottom. Oh and btw: in Harvest Den there is a small community theatre where you can try out all the different instruments that are in the game and get familiar with them without the pressure of the bell choir event.
this feels like a 2010 video, the nostalgia is real

amazing journey
I'm a new player and it's my first Wintersday too. Currently, I earned around 100 gold because of this event. I'm looking forward to the lunar event.
we might have found the only player good at the musical event lol
