My dad passed away 7 years ago today after being sick for 3 short weeks with stage 4 cancer. It was a terrible time and hard past 7 years. The reason for me telling you is because we actually used poinsettias to decorate the funeral home, gigantic ones, then smaller ones for the tables at the repast so family members could take one with them to have for the holidays. To me, this painting tutorial was a special gift to help with this day. I am so thankful for you Lindsay 😊
Today I truly needed one of these videos. I absolutely love to grab a coffee and sit back and listen to you talk through as you create. Doesn't matter what all you talk about, I find it so very calming but there is also the plus of learning from you. Thanks Lindsay. From someone overwhelmed with life and decisions at the moment.
I LOVE YOUR REAL TIME TUTORIALS!!! So nice to see you “do your thing” and end up with something lovely! Just ink and wash, but filled with ‘Lindsay tips’… Really, really fun!!!
I love this poinsettia painting🎄 I just bought the Hand Painted Holiday course🤯🤯🤯what an amazing bargain Lindsay!!!! There is sooooo much there! I really hope others will hop onto this incredible sale! Wow! Thank you Lindsay thank you! This was my gift to me! I truly have all the supplies I need - and a studio full of , well , hoard… this type of gift is so much fun for me and adds no clutter & helps me use up my stuff!!! Win win😊💕
Lindsay, if I received a hand made card from you I would think it was the best Christmas gift I received! I am sure that the people to whom you give cards absolutely love them!
Thanks Lindsay. Love the real time🎉 I have a relaxing time drawing a floral but have to remind myself to breathe painting one. I was painting a cardinal while I watched you paint the poinsettia 😅
Sure, it's Jerry q amzn.to/3ZG4HEs and I tool out thr paint and pans that came with it and added my paint in the wells. I used poster putty to tack full pans in the center.
I truly enjoyed this tutorial and hope to see more of this real time type. By the way, what do you know about Shinhan brand watercolor paints? Are they bad, good or ugly? lol thanks❤
I think the PWC and SWC lines are a fabulous buy! They sell open stock 15ml tubes for $6 in some stores. I have a review of the colors in the 32 set. th-cam.com/video/09L5bqXbEA8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=UJdJf9SZaSEryqAP and I recommend them. They have another lime named "professional" that isn't as good as the pwc/swc but it's not bad. I have a review of that too: th-cam.com/video/6xR-OlsNsOY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=2Y0RGIeNI49wd6U1 There's probably more than you want to know in those 2 videos 😆 🤣 😂

I'm in the process of painting your other poinsettia "free and loose".
Just something to do..
Thanks. Love watching you.

Gosh, I wish my local library had art classes like this! Great ink & wash project. ❤️
You should see if they’d be open to hosting a workshop! You could teach it!
@thefrugalcrafter Ha! I am far far from being a teacher. But I will see how to make a request.
It's a beautiful painting and you totally had me with the words real time and traceable. Thank you so much! I'd love to see more like this.

Where is the library class? Love to see if there’s space !
It filled up the day it was announced:(
Would love to know what palette you are using. Full pans in the middle-I may be in love. I found the palette. What you did with it is genius!
it's this one: I took pit the pans that cam with it and filled the wells and added full pans in the center with poster tack.
@@thefrugalcrafter I think AI may have removed some info from your reply
I just love watching you paint! You make it seem soo easy. I
Love your pallet. I've never seen one with that size of pans. Vanbyou share that information, please? Thx for your consideration.

@ Not too much at all. I have an inquiring mind after all. Thank you for taking time out of your day to answer!!
How does one get the pattern onto watercolor paper?
Or print onto watercolor paper?
