    This is beyond dirty. As a lifelong horse racing fan I've seen some suspect races but this takes the cake. They knew the 1 was a clear winner could've won by 20 lengths but he definitely pulled him up. I'd like to see who placed the big bets on an all/1 exacta. There's your accomplice.

      You have no clue and might give up gambling.Told all King Witt was going to win. Paid $10.00 for the win yesterday. I am the agent for the jock that won race. Beat the 2-5 horse . I knew that American Witt was sore and blew turn to take pain off right front leg.King was force ten wide from American Witt . Big drop on American Witt and it was claimed.The cage bit worked…

    How many times did the jock look back looking for the 5 horse. When the 5 finally passed him he rode for second place. There must have been a very compelling reason to finish second.

    • @cabalogia
      @cabalogia 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      @@cliffporter2181 I don’t think he bet the exacta because it came back paying well at $57 for $2 on a $13 winner and a $3 place payout on the 1 what I think he had was horizontal wagering with the pick 5 and pick 4 because on the next race they took down a 6/5 morning line horse who was a single on most tickets like mine. The pick 4 did come back a bit short for a $1 minimum wager considering that no favorite won any race and three of the four winners paid over $12 to win. I also remember seeing the pick 4 will pays and too many horses were well covered with not enough separation which is why I think it was a jockeys pool.

    • @kevinbrown4947

      @@cabalogia you might be right-maybe not setting it up for a 5-1 exacta, but he clearly didnt want to win for some reason. Maybe he was looking back desperately wanting someone, anyone to pass him. So much so that he had to ease him back from first to second or third last.
      It will be interesting to read the stewards report. Probably a $25 fine for spitting.

      There isn't any compelling reason for him to be second. Why would anyone cheat themselves out of work, whatever line of work you done in life, you would never take a salary lesser than what you know your average monthly income. The horse started misbehaving on the turn. In split seconds you have to make decisions, as he obviously thought his horse gave out or stalled. If he kept riding and the horse did get injured or worse then the blame would be on him from everyone. I always see jockeys look back. Castellano looking back cost me a pick 5 when Rosario nailed him on the line.

      July 26, 2022.
      Racing regulators in Manitoba, Canada found "no rules of Thoroughbred racing were violated" last week when jockey Sheldon Chickeness and his mount King Witt had an unusual trip in a $5,000 claiming-race at Assiniboia Downs that led to an investigation.

      Racing officials don’t have the legal authority to subpoena private individuals financial records. Law enforcement could become involved and POSSIBLY get a search warrant for financial records but that would only happen if the racing commission asked law enforcement to start an investigation. Even so, a judge must sign off on search warrants and subpoenas and depending on how much evidence is presented in the application the judge may decline to sign the requested warrant. Individual financial records are generally closely protected.

      Jockey been on a hiatus for years and just returned last year. He rode at Fonner this past Spring so I looked him up. He had like won 5 races in one day at Assiniboinia. So there wouldn't be anything on his financial record. He isn't part of some Asian syndicate or Mexican cartel scheme. His horse fired back on the stretch and just about won. I see nothing but a bush track putting out fuckin BOGUS fractions, :25, :49, and 1:09, so apparently he sped up for not just the second quarter but somehow ran 4 seconds faster for his third quarter, why the fuck isn't anyone talking about that, the jockey might have saw that 1:09 and went HOLY SHIT!! And then pulled the horse up abit so it doesn't look like he's trying to kill the horse on a suicidal pace. Of course I'm sure he instantly realized the mistake which is why the horse came back as soon as the jockey started whipping the horse again. So yeah the fractions were bullshit, displaying a suicidal pace with impossible fractions, a 20 second quarter mile lol, fuckin bullshit. This track is bush league bullshit to be putting out fractions that false. The pace was a slow crawler so of course the horse came back and finished strong, he was pacing himself on the front, again the track should be investigated, I don't see anything suspicious that the jockey did other than react to the fractions that were clearly displayed the second he started to pull the horse up.

End of story. That's how it happens like it or not. Mountaineer is notorious for this . Same in Harness racing. Only thing you can do is not bet. The tracks don't care .
