Not too many craftsman out there that have a true passion and take pride in their work.....and actually know what they are doing. I've learned so much from these videos. I live in the south so the ground is what we call "gumbo" so it doesn't soak up water very well. We are taking our downspouts away from the house and learned a lot from these videos and the equipment you need to do it right. Thanks again.
I only see one hole in the dry well so did you end the line in the dry well or did you route from the dry well to a pop up? Since you insulated the lid I'm guessing you didn't put the overflow in the lid like with flo-wells?
It's tough because we are equipment heavy and fuel is a killer. Time on the road is no good too. If we have to go back to our warehouse for something it's already rough when we get to far away. Thank you for commenting and sharing. I appreciate you!
Great video I've been looking for, thank you. Are those culvert tubes for the dry well, what size? Where you get the lid from? What size rock use around the dry well?
Adding another application in a rural, primitive environment, how would you treat this dry well if you're using it for greywater from a washing machine to prevent it from clogging?
Dig a hole big enough to hold a 5 gallon pale of water then filled with water. If by the next day it's still holding water you do not perk. If it's dry the next day you are on of the luck ones. Good Luck
Very impressed with this man's experience and solutions to drainage. Can French Drain Man recommend a contractor in Chicago area who uses his products and does same quality work? Wish you were franchised!
There's a company that buys a lot of pipe from us in the Chicago area. I can't speak for the work quality only that they put in a lot of our pipe. My office can give you a number 248-505-3065
Good luck with that. Once the dry well is full your done. Rainy seasons don't let up. It's just like a bath tub. Dig a 5 gallon hole in your clay and fill it up with water. Let me know how many days it take before the hole is dry.

To the men actually doing the MANUAL work, great job to you, hard working men.
Pretty sure the heavy work is done by the machines they have pictured.
Understandable and simply really when you think first. 🤔 Thanks for the work you and your crew do. Wish you were here. 😮
