Okay so a few things. Yes this is all 7 members of BTS (3 rappers and 4 vocalists). There is also no "Justin Timberlake" in BTS, all the members are multi-talented and vital to the success of the group. Most BTS fans love and support all 7 members even if they have a favorite member, BTS is 7 and will always be 7. You might see fans say they are OT7 and that means they don't have a favorite member or it's a showing of support for all 7 members. That's what makes BTS different from a lot of boy bands from the past and that's why I would compare them to Michael Jackson before I would ever compare them to any boy band from the west in terms of performance, lyricism, and versatility. You know a group I would compare them to is TLC. The mixture of vocals and rap and socially conscious messages. This song is about BTS fear of one day losing their passion and love for music. This song came out at the beginning of the pandemic and BTS were planning a much needed break after their world tour that was supposed to take place in 2020, which had to be cancelled due to the pandemic. But they kept pushing on in 2020 and 2021 constantly putting out new content, performing online concerts, and new music despite their mental and physical exhaustion. We as fans only discovered recently that was their plan and so now that's why they are pursuing solo activities at the moment to get re-inspired again, but BTS is still very much a group and will actually have a concert in Busan South Korea in a bid to host the World Expo in 2030, and rumor has it BTS will be doing the song for the World Cup coming later this year. My song suggestions are Fake Love, Blood Sweat and Tears, and their very first song from 2013 called No More Dream.

Yes, it's all of them. Uhm... there's no thing such as "the Justin Timberlake": each and very member is important. I wouldn't compare BTS to anybody, especially not to the Back Street Boys, or Nsync. However. I'd recommend to watch to BTS Live Room Festa 2021: a fast paced mix of their b-sides and title tracks through the years, so you will see their range. I have no favourite member: I love them all equally.
Once RM (the leader of BTS) said: "There’s 100% of success, I’ll give 50, half to ARMYs. The other half, we put like 5% each member, so that’s 35. And I give 15% to the company. So if it’s a trophy, my percentage is like 5, only an edge of the trophy. Success is not all ours I always try to realize that" I think it says a lot about them.
Every single member have they individual responsibilities to keep BTS going. And everyone has different talents, influences and focus. As you keep reacting and paying attention to all they individual works you are gonna to see that.

Another thing I forgot to mention is yes BTS does have a leader but it's not how you think. RM is the leader of BTS but think of it like being the captain of a sports team rather than he's the best or most important member. It just means he takes more of the leadership role in the group. You definitely feel the absence of any member when they are missing due to illness or injury.
I have been an army since 2013 since their pre debut days there not for teens they are for all ages. I'm 31and been still a fan.
And many men of all ages as well. Also, the largest percentage of fans are over the age of 30.
You guys need to watch Taylor's introduction to these guys ASAP. so you can learn about them and how they came to be

My bias is Jimin, the one contemporary dancing [blue hair, in this video] but, I love them all! BTS won't be BTS without all 7 talented members plus, their bond, lyricism, and art as a whole is incomparable. Extremely difficult to find genuinely beautiful souls like these days!
I've never heard *NSYNC* or any other "boy band" do anything remotely close to what BTS can do lol.
I'm a Mom, knowing BTS from my daughter (in 2017). In my country, Indonesia, K-pop artists have so many fans but I never interested. But one day, I listened to BTS on Spotify Just One Day & Spring Day), I like them. I'm OT7, love every member equally. FYI, I never like rap music but BTS rap line are so different, they're very amazing, make me love them as much as I love the vocal line. BTs debut 2013 I can't compared them to any boy bands in America I'm 57 never seen anyone like them. The rap they do hip hop and sing dance and alot more then any American boy band.my bia V And suga.but love all 7 .I'm a 57 year old army from american. Total love BTS and like kpop.
I completely agree. I would compare them to Michael Jackson before comparing them to any western boy band (and I like a lot of them too). It's kind of sad people see a group of guys singing and dancing and automatically stereotype them as just another boy band and we as BTS fans know that's not the case. That's like someone saying Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift or Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd are the same types of artists just because they are the same gender. I'm all for these guys discovering more about BTS and appreciating their music but if they continue down this road of trying to put them in a box I don't know if ARMY will stick around.

So many preconceived notions that need to go out the window ASAP. First, BTS is not representative of the rest of kpop and shouldn’t be lumped in. You know how not all American artists are the same? Not all korean ones are either. Second, BTS is not comparable to nsync or NKOTB or BSB. None of those groups have broken or tied multiple Beatles and MJ records. None of those groups are the 4th most awarded artist of all time. There is also no “Justin timberlake of the group.” All 7 of them are more talented than he is and all 7 can and do stand as solo artists. Comparing them to Wu Tang was the most accurate comparison in this video.
BTS is not some cute novelty act for you to joke and snicker about and not take seriously or give respect to. They are brilliant artists who write and produce some of the most complex and meaningful music I’ve ever encountered (and I’m 35 and have been studying and performing music my whole life). Did you read the captions to this song? The lyrics are gorgeous and deep and talk about the fear an artist has of losing passion for or ability to perform their art. Everything they do is intentional and done with artistic integrity. They were dancing barefoot because the choreography features contemporary dance, which is done barefoot. I hope you’ll continue to learn about BTS and I hope that continued journey comes with an open mind and an actual appreciation for the art.

They’re incomparable and adore all 7 of them!
BTS is 7-membered group from South Korea with members aging from 25 to 29 years old. They have been around for almost 9 years now (anniversary on June 13) and they usually sing in Korean/Konglish and only have 3 songs fully in English in their whole discography of 200+ songs. They are one, if not, the most versatile artists I’ve ever heard (in my opinion). From hiphop to rnb to pop, name any genre, most likely, they have it. Comment me your type and I might recommend some songs. They produce and write their own songs, incorporate a storyline in their discography as well as different themes such as philosophy, psychology, politics, women empowerment, anti-bullying, mental health, and many more. This is why they had such an impact to the world and brought them to the UN 3 times and gave speeches as well. I can’t reiterate any more coz this might be an essay hehe. They mean a lot to me, coz they changed my life (mental health-wise).

They do have a leader (@2:30), but theres no JT of the group. They don't move like that. I don't have a favorite because each offer unique characteristics/qualities. They're not really comparable to anyone. I think that's why so many people love them. They are inspired by old school hip hop artists because the rappers grew up listening to them. MJ is also a big inspiration for them. But I don't think you can compare them to US groups at all. And yes, they all were on the track. There's 4 vocalists & 3 rappers.
Thank you for giving them a chance! you may want to throw any pre conceived notions about them as a group out the window tho because they tend to shock everyone, even long time fans, when they come out with new music/concepts etc.
I would definitely recommend an Introduction to BTS: The Bangtan 7 by Taylor. It gives you a brief introduction to the group as a whole then dives into each member, and don’t worry about the length because ARMY will watch anything involving bts lol

This song is based on a quote from dancer Martha Graham "a dancer dies twice, once when they stop dancing and this death is more painful". BTS can do everything; dance, sing, act. They write their own music, produce own melodies, produce their own music, produce other's music. Very rare combinations which is why they are compared to the Beatles. They are Originals. There is no group on their level. For other kpop groups Shinee, Big Bang, BTOB...
My favourite is J-hope. He is the dance leader and main dancer also one of the rapper but he can sing too
Jimin, the solo dancer here, is a trained contemporary dancer (among several other genre of dance). Jimin danced in bare feet because contemporary dance is done bare foot; the other members also danced bare foot out of respect to Jimin and the genre itself.
Btw, there IS NO comparison to any other group because their artistry encompasses virtually ALL genre of music. They are also extremely talented each on their own.

BTS make most other boy bands look lacking. I love Nsyc, Back street boys, New Edition, New Kids. Love them! But none of them can measure up to BTS. BTS are on a whole different level. The more that you see of them you will get it. They started out as a hip-hop group and have evolved into the biggest group of all time. They have broken records held by The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Celine Deon. Mic Drop Steve Aoki remix has over a BILLION views. They have 3 all English songs. Most of their songs have a mix of Korean and English. So ALWAYS have the captions on. These 7 guys fought like HELL to get to where they are. The fans are called ARMY, and trust me when I say the BTS ARMY is a force that will never fail to support the people that love them. You keep watching BTS and you will see.
These guys constantly bring it. Buckle your seat belt and enjoy the ride. There is A LOT to see. Just know there is A BTS rabbit hole and once you fall into it, you will not be able to get out.💜
They are from South Korea. The KPOP industry in South Korea is tough. The company that they are with Bighit was a very small fish in a HUGE pond. But they built them up with genius marketing. BTS put Bighit into a whole other level. BTS brings South Korea billions of dollars in tourism, merchandise, and cultural interest. They have also spoken at the United Nations twice, and been to the White House. Covers of Time, Forbes magazines. They have a great message.

So I'd say maybe listen to some solo works from the members to get a small idea of why there is no Justin in BTS, they are all Varsity plays that came together to make a elite group. Singularity by V from BTS, Epiphany by Jin from BTS, Joke by RM from BTS, Arson by J-Hope from BTS, Stay alive by Jungkook and produced by Suga from BTS,Daechwita by Suga from BTS and Serendipity by Jimin from BTS. Also louder than bombs,house of cards your eyes tell and Ugh from BTS but honestly I could add so many more.

There is no 'Justin Timberlake'. BTS have definitely carved out a part of the world for themselves, they are all genuinely so talented its mind blowing.
Also, when we say RM is the leader we literally mean he leads the group, and acts as the middleman between the company and the group. It doesn't necessarily mean he's the frontman, or the one who stands out the most, or anything like that. In all honestly there is no sole member that stands out over the others, they're all actually very evenly split. They're all multitalented, and have solo ventures while still being part of BTS. Like all the rappers have their own mixtapes/albums they've released, the vocalists have all had solo singles that have been part of BTS' album or just dropped on their own. They all have their own expertise within performance and songwriting that kinda allows for them to excel in the way they have.
Jimin is my favourite (he's my bias), but I'm OT7 at the end of the day and love all of the members with all my hart 💜
