J-Hope! The name you've been wondering about isn't Suga, it's J-Hope. And later, the member who sang "myself" with gray hair is suga. The member who sings high notes while dancing contemporary dance is Jimin.
Lots of comments explaining the concept but a couple of things you may not have noticed. In this album BTS explore Jungian concepts of Persona, Shadow and Ego. Their shadow part is their fear of losing passion for music so you see independently moving shadows from the persona they show the public. In the video they are seen in white clothing while displaying their Persona so when they are viewed on stage from the audience. When they are viewed from the back of the stage or behind the scenes they are portrayed in black shadow clothing. At the end JK sees the shadow and allows himself to acknowledge his fear, this is then in his conscious thought and no longer the unconscious hidden fear so the shadow goes away.

Yep, contemporary, which Jimin excels at from his training as contemporary dancer with it's classical physical training. Jimin is also a hip hop dancer from his teens, as well as having a Black Belt in Taekwando and more material arts training in Kendo. He may be physically the shortest of BTS but he is a physical beast, graceful, and always superb. Between them Jimin and JHope provide BTS with a dance powerhouse ability. JHope is the dance master drilling the others to perfection in the choreography. He learns the chores very quickly then teaches it to the others. Jimin, also, is a perfectionist in all the he does.

it is based on a movie from 2001(?) about a black-feathered swan, a ballet dancer, who is rejected by the white colored swans. In the movie, she goes crazy and dies. That's where the name comes from, all the dance style, Jimin's solo. However, as my fellow armies will tell you, all that has a deeper meaning for artists of any kind, losing their art for any reason. This is especially important for BTS. In 2018 they almost broke up, from serious and in some cases severe burnout. They weren't even going to do this song, too painful. After many tears and talks, they pulled through. There is a follow up song, dang, on the album Tear, a rap, written about the emotional process they went through. Perhaps another Army remembers the name.
When I started with BTS my goal was to first learn their names & faces, & then to identify them by voice. It took me awhile, lol. I watched Tiny Desk Concert over & over, because the subtitles told who was speaking & they didn't dance much or change order in that video. Then I watched the guide videos repeatedly. Then I kept referring to those for comparison on other videos. If you just pick one or two of the members that keep catching your eyes or ears to get locked in on the names, & then add the others one by one, it helps. You for instance might easily be able to spot Jimin or J-Hope based on their dance. All of them have distinctive voices, but they also can blend extremely well, but you'll get it. After awhile, it will be obvious to you & you'll wonder how you ever got confused, lol. 💜
I also would recommend you to watch Jimins solo behind the scenes to this song because its amazing and shows how hard they work to get it as close to perfect as possible. I really look forward to your next video.

I’d suggest watching ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film next, the mv and the dance practise. ON is the ‘sequel’ to Black Swan and they’re part of a long sequence of songs going all the way back to the Wings album in 2016. Where Black Swan is about recognising the fear that an artist may have of losing their love of their art, ON is about confronting that fear and accepting that it is part of who they are… and then making a choice to go on. They’ve recently revealed that at the time the fear was very real to them.

Love this song!! To get familiar with them, I tried to put their voice to their name and face. I found that easier. Also watching their funny behind the scene videos sure helped too!! There is so much content I am still finding ones I haven't watched yet over the 5 years of getting to know them. It took me a while when I started back in 2017 to reconise each one, but I got there eventually lol. My eldest daughter was a BIG fan back then she and used to do reactions back in 2015/16 I think was and she also went to their WINGS concert back in May 2017, I think that's when it was in Sydney. It was all over for me as soon as I watched MIC Drop MV as she knew I loved 90s Hip hop lol I fell hard down the rabbit hole and I am still there!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

That MV and song is pure ART. The lyrics are built on Martha Graham world famous choreographer. quote "a dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.” So it's about being scared of losing the passion for their work/art, what they love. You should check out their live performance of the MAMA 2020. Regarding Fire.... I was saying 2016 was a turning point for them, that album got them their first BIG award, and it was the point where they truly embraced who they were and stoped trying to fit the Kpop molde. The MMA 2016 and MAMA 2016 live shows are amazing and they were so shocked to get artist and album of the year they were all crying. Those are good for you to start with their award show presentations. Their lives are amazing, and their BBMAS, AMAs, and Grammy's performances are really cool.... but nothing compared to the Asian award shows.... mmm... think about your favorite concert, mixed with cirque du solei, in a world cup stadium... and maybe you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about 😅. Start with their 2016 MMA... and go from there... Many ARMYs will ask you for the MAMA 2019... but that is the Crown Jewel, I recommend you learn more about the band and their songs to truly apreciate it. (Keep in mind 2019 was the year they thought would be their last before going into military but covid hit the world making them postpone their military service 2 years. They went all out for that award show, making it like a journey through their discography) Live presentations, MVs and dance practices will give you diferent perspectives and always something new to the song. ARMY will ask you to start reacting to their lives, and MVs, because they are amazing. And as a dancer you will apreciate they sing live, they don't lip sing... all while doing the dance moves. They do use backing tracks for effects, but they are singing live, and you can tell. Yesterday you asked about the connection between songs and MVs and easter eggs.... YES, they do a lot of that. Some ARMYs will tell you it is because of the BU (Bangtang Universe) which is a parallel story line that runs through their MVs, but it is complemented with webtoons, blogs, video games, and other stuff to get the whole picture.... way to complicated for Baby ARMY and even older ARMY like myself. The good thing is that if you don't know the BU it's ok, because it is not really needed to understand their MVs. There are tons of video explanations mainly because of all the cultural references. But everything they do has a deeper message than what meets the eye. Quick example, and not the most impressive, but just the one that came to mind... the name of their song "Permission to Dance" is an anagram for "Stories on Pandemic". The production and thought process for their concepts are unprecedented in the music industry. Ok, yesterday's comment had more sause lol... but this is the jist of it. I’d suggest watching ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film next, the mv and the dance practise. ON is the ‘sequel’ to Black Swan and they’re part of a long sequence of songs going all the way back to the Wings album in 2016.
Where Black Swan is about recognising the fear that an artist may have of losing their love of their art, ON is about confronting that fear and accepting that it is part of who they are… and then making a choice to go on.
They’ve recently revealed that at the time the fear was very real to them.

Love this song!! To get familiar with them, I tried to put their voice to their name and face. I found that easier. Also watching their funny behind the scene videos sure helped too!! There is so much content I am still finding ones I haven't watched yet over the 5 years of getting to know them. It took me a while when I started back in 2017 to reconise each one, but I got there eventually lol. My eldest daughter was a BIG fan back then she and used to do reactions back in 2015/16 I think was and she also went to their WINGS concert back in May 2017, I think that's when it was in Sydney. It was all over for me as soon as I watched MIC Drop MV as she knew I loved 90s Hip hop lol I fell hard down the rabbit hole and I am still there!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

The lyrics are built on Martha Graham world famous choreographer. quote "a dancer dies twice - once when they stop dancing, and this first death is the more painful.” So it's about being scared of losing the passion for their work/art, what they love.

Regarding Fire.... I was saying 2016 was a turning point for them, that album got them their first BIG award, and it was the point where they truly embraced who they were and stoped trying to fit the Kpop molde. The MMA 2016 and MAMA 2016 live shows are amazing and they were so shocked to get artist and album of the year they were all crying. Those are good for you to start with their award show presentations.
Their lives are amazing, and their BBMAS, AMAs, and Grammy's performances are really cool.... but nothing compared to the Asian award shows.... mmm... think about your favorite concert, mixed with cirque du solei, in a world cup stadium... and maybe you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about 😅. Start with their 2016 MMA... and go from there... Many ARMYs will ask you for the MAMA 2019... but that is the Crown Jewel, I recommend you learn more about the band and their songs to truly apreciate it. (Keep in mind 2019 was the year they thought would be their last before going into military but covid hit the world making them postpone their military service 2 years. They went all out for that award show, making it like a journey through their discography)
Live presentations, MVs and dance practices will give you diferent perspectives and always something new to the song. ARMY will ask you to start reacting to their lives, and MVs, because they are amazing. And as a dancer you will apreciate they sing live, they don't lip sing... all while doing the dance moves. They do use backing tracks for effects, but they are singing live, and you can tell.
Yesterday you asked about the connection between songs and MVs and easter eggs.... YES, they do a lot of that. Some ARMYs will tell you it is because of the BU (Bangtang Universe) which is a parallel story line that runs through their MVs, but it is complemented with webtoons, blogs, video games, and other stuff to get the whole picture.... way to complicated for Baby ARMY and even older ARMY like myself. The good thing is that if you don't know the BU it's ok, because it is not really needed to understand their MVs. There are tons of video explanations mainly because of all the cultural references. But everything they do has a deeper message than what meets the eye. Quick example, and not the most impressive, but just the one that came to mind... the name of their song "Permission to Dance" is an anagram for "Stories on Pandemic". The production and thought process for their concepts are unprecedented in the music industry.
