Ive watched this kid for years and hes very talented. Tells you everything he skipped f3 and went straight to f2 and out performing a shitbox of a car. He will make mistakes in his first season just like every good driver did in there first season. Looking forward to see what he can do in f1 for the future
The Hamilton situation was very different to this one: - Hamilton had a McLaren simulator programme since 2004 - Ron Dennis once said Hamilton was part of the plan since 1999 - Unlimited testing in those days, Hamilton arguably the most prepared rookie in F1 history - Alonso and Raikkonen both in new teams and both had to get used to Bridgestone tyres. They spent all the previous years on Michelin tyres. I think the days or rookies coming in and doing what Hamilton did might be over. Simply because of the reasons I've said and it seemed less hard for rookies 20 years ago let's say.
