All we need to do is ignore them and let the government deal with them if they break the law. There are videos on TH-cam of British fans cheering on Max Verstappen. I realize some British fans are very obnoxious, but take a look at the videos shot by people sitting in the stand behind the tires Max Verstappen crashed into at Silverstone. I can't point out a single obnoxious spectator in that stand. They all seem like they came out on a lovely sunny day to have some fun and watch F1. Everybody clapped for Max Verstappen when he got out of his destroyed car on his own. Humans aren't as bad as you may think, only a select few are.

I'm an American that got into F1 by watching the Netflix series. I didn't realize at the time that when I started watching the races back in 2021 that I was watching one of the best F1 seasons of my lifetime.

And on top of that Germans are more sportsman and know the rules better. 1) the racing director decides when the safety car leaves. 2) any cars may unlap, does not mean every car has to unlap. See Germans don't read with Hamilton coloured glasses. Before the race, all teams including winning German team Mercedes. Agreed on finishing the race, racing. If at all possible. It was possible and so we went racing. The German car won, and the Dutch racer won. This outcome is acceptable. Schönen tag noch.

Masi would have sent lapped cars past a few laps before, but Latifis car recovery was weirdly delayed, so he sent them when safe instead. Anyone arguing that the lapped cars shouldn't have gone past was hoping for a boring finish where a technical absurdity gave the win to Lewis. Lapped cars went past as always happen after a SC - it was ultimately Mercedes bad strategy call + Lewis non-aggressive driving lost him the championship. Lewis could have held Max, he just didn't.

Rewatching this video is more effective than any antidepressant. It's June 2023 and I watch this and other Abu Dhabi 2021 final lap reaction videos whenever I feel blue. My mood instantly improves. I started watching Formula 1 in the 1980s. I became a fan of Max since 2016 and I don't remember feeling such a strong sporting emotion in my entire life.

As an American my family follows F1 and Verstappen and Perez. I heard a huge roar and my family went crazy when Max won. But I follow NASCAR and team Hendrick. My guy Kyle Larson won his 1st ever NASCAR Cup championship. So awesome that he and Verstappen have won their 1st titles. I hope they do a car swap. Man this year was crazy in motor sports
The extra crazy part was that this was at 2am. I think for most Aussies, it wasn't sitting well that Hamilton was basically only still in the title race because he punted Verstappen off at Silverstone and effectively got away with it, and then his teammate wiped Verstappen out the next week. There's also a desire to see Hamilton fail to break Schumacher's record outright, a bit of a perception that Hamilton is a bit of a spoiled brat who never had to fight his way up from the back and is only 7 times WDC because of the car, and not even in the way Michael was by working for it.

Masi would have sent lapped cars past a few laps before, but Latifis car recovery was weirdly delayed, so he sent them when safe instead.
Anyone arguing that the lapped cars shouldn't have gone past was hoping for a boring finish where a technical absurdity gave the win to Lewis.
Lapped cars went past as always happen after a SC - it was ultimately Mercedes bad strategy call + Lewis non-aggressive driving lost him the championship. Lewis could have held Max, he just didn't.
Shows how much better it was that Max won, what an incredible ending to the championship!!

Masi will not have a job in F1 next season, it was an absolutely diabolical decision he made in not letting the rest of the field unlap themselves. Admittedly I’m a LH fan, but I’m an F1 fan first and foremost and anybody who can look at how this race finished in an objective manner would have to agree that it was a dreadful conclusion to what had been an otherwise fascinating season.

Lewis raced Red Bull this year, while Verstappen raced both Mercedes AND FIA at the same time this year. Max was also taken out by a mercedes in two races in a row earlier in the season. While the way it happened was controversial, there was no driver on the grid more deserving of that championship title than Verstappen this year, and that is a fact. And no, I am not a Verstappen fan nor a Hamilton hater. I am a Leclerc fan.

Rewatching this video is more effective than any antidepressant. It's June 2023 and I watch this and other Abu Dhabi 2021 final lap reaction videos whenever I feel blue. My mood instantly improves. I started watching Formula 1 in the 1980s. I became a fan of Max since 2016 and I don't remember feeling such a strong sporting emotion in my entire life.

Lewis hung it out too wide, opening the door for Max, and he went for it, it's as simple as that.
The extra crazy part was that this was at 2am.
I think for most Aussies, it wasn't sitting well that Hamilton was basically only still in the title race because he punted Verstappen off at Silverstone and effectively got away with it, and then his teammate wiped Verstappen out the next week. There's also a desire to see Hamilton fail to break Schumacher's record outright, a bit of a perception that Hamilton is a bit of a spoiled brat who never had to fight his way up from the back and is only 7 times WDC because of the car, and not even in the way Michael was by working for it.
