A soundtrack can be a score, as well as other music featured in the film, and a film score always counts as a soundtrack. Don't act like those terms can't be used interchangeably, because they can.

Since there was a soundtrack release by Prince and there was a score release by Danny Elfman, two different releases. Believe me, I know the difference. Been listening to film scores for over 32 years and have a collection of over 5,000 scores on CD, over 100 on cassette and over 50 on vinyl.
