“Promoting change” doesn’t involve torching and looting your own community. The moment protest strays to infringe upon other people lives it becomes harassment.
We have a right to protest. We don't have a right to disrupt the lives of others while doing so and any sort of violent protest is simply beyond the pale.
I agree with you. People should have the ability for peaceful protests. But if a government or institution or simply some hoodlums wish to benefit themselves or discredit this protest all it takes is a few to screw everything up. Such as a black lives matter protest which I do personally think it's a Soros funded group but let's say it's not 95% of them want a peaceful protest but a few hoodlums come along to loot. What's the solution to this is nearly impossible to prevent.
I’m so glad you gave that description of the word ignorant. So many people now seem to misunderstand and believe it is a synonym for stupid. The actual definition of the word has been misconstrued in the past several years, and it’s nice to see someone understands the actual meaning.
"but that only effects you" That's where you're wrong. It does effect you, but it can also effect your spouse, your children, your friends, your family, your grandchildren, your friends' family and children. Changing yourself can be infectious and it can spread. Raising your children with your new values can cause them to raise their children by those same values, thus creating real change. The problem with the "protests" in recent years is that they don't want real change. They want instant change and that's impossible. They don't want to put in the work to create change. They just want to act like a toddler, go around screaming and destroying things, until they get their way. Nothing good ever comes out of that
I live down south in chicago and youre exactly right. Police take over 30 mins to show up. I see a cop patrol the block like once a month and thats to give tickets to expired stickers…..
I'm in NYC, there aren't 4 cops at every corner it's usually 2 standing on the corner of a block that is known to have recurring activity (drugs, guns, gangs)
There are 4 police on every corner where tourists may come to visit. The only time you see 4 police on a corner in the Bronx is when the Yankees have a home game.
Nope, there are not 4 police in every corner. Never have been. I grew up in Hunts Point, family still lives there, and no that is inaccurate. Idk why people keep giving opinions towards things they have not experienced.
You're correct..i live in Jamaica queens which is the #1 most dangerous part of queens and is 68% black and Hispanic. Police respond way slow. 2 months ago they took hrs to get here where my pregnant friends bf was in a rage beating on her and put hands on me and then didn't arrest him.
The kid also seems to think that (1) violence can make a protest more effective at accomplishing the desired objectives, and (2) that this justifies the violence. In other words, the means necessarily justify the ends, regardless of the specific ends attained, and regardless of the specific means employed. I disagree.
On the night Kamala loses if everyone across the country started singing NA,NA,NA,NA,...NA,NA,NA,NA, hey, hey, ey, GOOD-BYE!!!! Like literally if we could make this happen and get people to post clips of this in their neighborhoods of everyone singing that on NOVEMBER 6TH, that would be so epic!!!!! LET'S MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!!
I think protesting can make a difference for something the government can control. For instance, the government can control COVID policies. Racism is unfortunately a way of thinking for some people. The government cannot and certainly should not control the way people think. I suppose they could make it known that racism is unacceptable but honestly I think REAL racists are a dying breed these days...
Hey LFR Jojo, both videos that you uploaded today are super choppy and the audio is getting messed up. Just wanted to give you the heads up, so you know about the issue.
Freedom of speech means the freedom to be wrong. You say that some protests are just wrong. This is true but in order to keep freedom of speech and freedom to protest. People have the freedom to be wrong. Other issue a group let's say black lives matter and tends to go out and have a peaceful protest. But a government institution or private institution or just some hoodlums. Who wished to benefit themselves or discredit the protest can screw it up for the rest quite easily. It only takes a few bad apples to ruin the pie. Now personally I don't agree with black lives matter I think is a Soros funded group. I could be wrong thus my freedom to speech and freedom to be wrong. So the problem is how do you keep a few bad apples from ruining your protests.
what gets me is this...:kids be BUGGIN about ish they don't even understand fully. I'd say 'Hey, step down for a moment....and think twice!!' with love.
The student needs further education. Yes, many of the protests are/were violent. That is never right. He's not really ready to ask a question unless he wants to get schooled.

It doesn't matter how many police are there if they aren't allowed to do their jobs.
It’s a fact that tens of millions of dollars were cut from the NYC police budget resulting in layoffs and no new hires.
I’m so glad you gave that description of the word ignorant. So many people now seem to misunderstand and believe it is a synonym for stupid. The actual definition of the word has been misconstrued in the past several years, and it’s nice to see someone understands the actual meaning.
Theres a huge difference between a protest and a riot. Most of those were violent.
Stupidity goes along with ignorance if someone refuses to learn.
The police are either told to stand down or they don’t bother because criminals are just released without charges.
Oh wow..we are in deep doo do here if young people think this way🤦🏼♀️ You should be 25 before voting😂😂😂
If they deleted "like" from language, this whole generation would not be able to talk
😂
They would just use bro n bruh, even more than they do now, to make-up the difference 😵💫😂
Protests don't show the will of the people it shows the will of a group of people.
Responsibility seems to be a foreign language or concept to many younger people today.
You need an ID to buy a freaking money order at Walmart 🙄 .smh
Kamala requires an ID to attend her rallies...
And this is what we are paying for with collage
I always enjoy your shows…you really do your research through and through. I wish more people were like you

The vocal disfluencies used by this college kids is just more evidence that he's at that university because of DEI
My brother is in Jamaica Queens and I went to school in NYC. There is no police on every corner.
Protests can be useful the canadian ottawa trucker protest laid down the blueprint on how to do it
They def can be useful. During that protest were they using violence and destruction?
