This guide is great, I was a bit lost with the "raid" system. I'm F2P, so I'm a bit scared even if I've played since the game launched.
I want to correct something: 23:17, Ushi is great and her NP5 is fantastic, BUT she doesn't have an Evade yet, we're still waiting for the Strengthen Quest.

Killing the hands first will only leave 2 attacks per turn by Ibaraki, not 3. She is a berserker and they only get 2 attacks per turn.
Also you can kill the hands and stun her so you skip the extra attacks
This is true. Killing one hand enables her to use 2 attacks, plus the hand, so killing both with a solid aoe NP is a good idea. The Right hand's NP move is too much to ignore.
As for stallers, use Cu, because Cu, and a Herc with his Bond CE. Ibaraki's NP can't get rid of the guts it gives him, making him absolutely nuts.
Personally, for attackers, I prefer Jack over Scathach, just because Jack can hit her NP FAR easier than Scathach, and she generates stars more consistently.
While this is true, I've found Jack a bit fragile and not able to hit quite as hard, even though my Scathach is 'only' NP3 compared to my Jack's NP5, so I've been going with Scathach myself. Having the Evade and Quick boost on different skills is nice, too. Which is a real shame, considering I'd kinda prefer to use Jack, considering she's my first NP5 SSR Servant...

If you can't do the 3BP raid you can still get to 300 mil damage doing just the 2BP raid, using all the riceballs and approximately *10+ quartz or so, depending on how good you are at not wasting BP (IE never let the BP meter sit full, and don't do too many 1BP or fail at 3BP). The event is two weeks long, so that's 1 quartz per day - this event doesn't use AP so you could probably get that by doing some free quests you skipped or something. If you go for it, I would recommend doing as many runs as you can on day 1, since later days may will be harder. That said, is it worth it? YMMV. If you make it to 240 million Damage (no quartz needed), you lose out on: 1 Grease, 2 Scales, 1 Root, 1 Claw, and 1 Lore.
* Math: 14 days is 336 hours, but technically the hours will add up to 344 if I counted right ("day 1" = 48+20 hours, "day 7" = 108 hours supposedly). So 344 BP possible over time, plus 32 White (*2BP) and 15 Golden (*8BP) Riceballs, -7 for the "Arc Quests" to restart the raid if we beat Ibaraki = 521 BP. I had to use 5 BP on the 1BP raid to get the CE, so 516BP, divide by 2 =258 million damage. You still need +42 million minimum. Each quartz will refill BP completely, so 1Q = 8BP = 4 mil damage. 11 quarts would get you there if you're perfect, most likely you'll miss a few along the way, and you won't be able to use the last few points on the last day, or you might have missed some time since it started in the middle of the night in NA, so maybe 15-20 Quartz for most people?
Yes you can get through just by doing the 2 BP if you refill with quartz. And now that they give us 8 BP instead of 6, like it originally was in JP, you might not even need to use quartz

Necromancy Guts isn’t removable. If you’ve ever used Necromancy you’ll notice the guts icon doesn’t appear. And any effects that have squares around them can’t be removed, CE effects have those including Guts CEs.

Can I just say I'm soo glad these two vids came out early? It's so nice to be able to plan, even a little bit, before everything starts going down. Got the chance to feed Scathach some more exp, and level up that quick buff skill on her and Atalanta before everything gets started. So glad I was farming for Assassin exp, and that they're paired with Lancer, 'cause Scatty's been sitting at 81 for a while.
Gonna release these at least a day or two earlier than the event from now on, thankfully the Accel Zero event gave me time to catch up on some of my videos so I'm not working from behind lol

A tad late, but just realized I missed trivia on this event. The event currency gourd is often dried and gutted out to be used as vessel/container. In "our neck of the wood" it commonly carried booze. Shuten's sword (?) has ornament modeled after gourd on the hilt (the two blue orb thingie stuck together is it). Incidentally, in Journey to West, one of the foes that Sanzo and company meet uses magical gourd that would stuck in anyone answers wielder's call by name. According to wiki, NA natives used it as smoking device, SA natives used it as tea vessel, while Polynesian folks used it as penis case. Its fruit contain toxin, so it is NOT edible though. And if you translate the Chinese character of shuten 酒呑, it means drinking sake.

I'm using Cu prototype, mash, george and borrowing jack. Easy 2 BP
Finally have enough Kintoki CE to do the 3BP :x My team are:
Lvl 78 Cu Proto type NP3 4/4/4
Mash lvl 60 10/10/10
George lvl 46 8/1/1
David lvl 60 4/7/4
Cu FSN lvl 1/2
Borrowing Waiver 10/10/10 and stack those damage CE 300% + 300%
First 3 turns mash and waiver can tank very good, with stacking DEFs buff, Ibaraki can only hit 2k when crits. Then when the def buffs go off, i switch mash with George and let him tank the hits and NPS, enough to survive Ibaraki NP without Wavier or Cu taking too much damage.My proto Cu can NP for over 1mil damage after the def down from waive's NP, and does sick crits. Cu usually NPs 3 times and the team ended up with 4.5 mil damage. Sometimes i got lucky and NP 4 times, nearly kill her. The team is cheap and have surprisingly high consistency. 20 rounds and haven't lost a single one. Waiver NP is very important so i use all the buffs i can get and art chain to charge him.
I think i can finish her off if i have some more kintoki CEs for MLB, or have another copies of Cu to make him NP 5.
My loadout is Cu, Robin Hood, Rama, Attila, [insert single target Servant] and Lalter fully equipped with Kaleidoscopes.
Tactic: Nuke her as fast as I can

HELL YEA, MY NP5 CARMILLA HAS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
I'm stuck in this weird place where I'm doing way too much damage in the 2bp but I cant quite clear the 3bp. I've been able to go balls to the wall and do like 4m damage, or full stall and hit 14 turns. I will figure this out
I'm in a similar boat, sometimes I get lucky and make all 15, but it feels random. Sometimes I do really well at not dying (2 or 3 servants still standing) and others I have 5 turns left when I die and don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Emmanuel Natividad I used a friend support with Kaleidoscope for fast NP burst. Its also good if you have Cu Lancer to survive his NPs.
Regarding the "Ibaraki gets 3 hits if you kill the hands", doesn't she actually get 2 at Max due to her status as a Berserker Servant?
Also, I heard that Potassium (from a certain Banana Oni) is good for treating Tuberculosis. HEY (NP2) OKITA, I GOT GOOD NEWS FOR YOU.

I’m good on the offensive front with Jalter, Cu Alter, Gil, and Okita at my disposal so that’s awesome ( probably will just buster meme with Jalter since this her chance to really shine).
Mash will finally be able to have her chance to shine as well lol, I’ve felt really bad that I haven’t been using her so I’m glad she’ll be playing an important roll.

Hiecchi Seems fine with the exception that only Okita and Cu have invuln, but plug suit can more or less mitigate that.

Hiecchi Nah Chaldea Battlesuit, the mystic code. Using the switch creatively with things like taunt ce's or tanks can mitigate a lot of damage to vulnerable. It's basically just a plugsuit, hence the term plugsuit.
Front Line: Lancelot (90 NP2), Scáthach OR Jalter (Both 90 NP1, use the single LB Event Craft Essence) , Waver
Back Line: Medea Lily, Mash, Support
Strat:
1) Use Waver skills (focus on Lancelot), use mooks to gain as much NP as possible.
2) If at Doji,gain max NP for chain, use Waver NP to delay and weaken, Lancelot to kill hands and main damage NP to take down doji.
3) Switch Waver to Lily for heals if needed, but let Lancelot explode to get Mash in to help damage mitigation (may use others but maximizes available points).
4) Depends on what Support Servant I can find.
Others that I have at max:
-Gil (90 NP1)
-Herc (90 NP2 With Bravery 10)
-Carmilla (80 NP2)
-Robin Hood? (Not max level but NP5)
That's a solid team, you might run into some consistency issues with Lancelot getting his NP off. Like if Ibaraki or the hands focus him on turn 1. But other than that solid. If you do run into trouble I would suggest swapping out Lancelot for Carmilla

Been using Nero (Bride), Elizabeth and Tamamo. Nero's launching her NP every 2 turns for 100 - 300k thanks to constant Atk buffs with only the one ushi CE. Got a Waver, Alexander and mash in the back for good measure in the odd instance the front crumbles.

You're mistaken, you can clear the event damage ladder without touching the 3bp at all. I only did the 1bp for day 1 [first time for this event] and did 2bp 1mil until I got all my ushi's to MLB then move to 3mil, MLB my carp and got lucky with an extra drop so I have 200% extra all damage on top of ushi 300%. I passed 200mil before Sunday night's reset. I still have like 18 riceballs and 5 golden left as of now. Only have to farm gourds and do dailies.
My main team is mash with full skill/np story upgrades, my np3 Jack with level 10 misty night, friends waver on front line with the starting mystic code at max level. With my shuten, mhx alter and serenity on backline. Pop mash def buff skill on 2nd round, then I get mash, Jack and wavers np ready to go by attacking arms, once ready pop jacks misty night skill, wavers attack buff, pop my mystic code attack buff on Jack, then for np order it's mash, waver then Jack, she can then put out around 2.4+mil in one np. Rarely have to rely on backline unless she decides to only bully my Jack as main threat and crits on her with her arms backing her up.
After dailies I can swap out mash or waver for the arms class weakness and farm away. Doesn't matter if I can't kill ibaraki then or she kills me, so long as both arms go down. I may end up having to use some of my quartz for gourd farming depending on drop rates, but 3bp for damage ladder isn't required. At least not if you have good/best st or aoe servants from the fgo gamepress page.
On a different note anyone got a rough idea when Camelot comes out? Also does Merlin drop in Camelot or will he get his own event and banner because you always hear endlessly about him but not when he's supposed to pop up around more or less lol
Merlin are not coming on Camelot update. Sorry if that make you sad.
Tho he probably coming on Babylon update (after Camelot). Can't really remember, but Im leaning towards "not coming" because Babylon already give 2 SSR which is Ishtar and Enkidu.
He's got his own banner near the end of the year which I think its at the same time with the release of the final chapter
I think he’s Salomon chapter.
Merlin comes out right around the same time as the final chapter
Camelot will be the end of next month likely, and Merlin comes out on his own banner after the main story so around November or December

Gonna use Waver, Jack and a support Tamamo. Might get me through the second level
Ibaraki won't get 3 hits, but she'll get a more damaging move set
Just a couple things Oni (Well just 1 from me as I believe several people have pointed out Ushiwakamaru doesn't have Evade yet) but other mistake is you said that if you kill both hands you give Ibaraki 3 attacks per turn and open up the chance to having your whole team critted to death in 1 turn. That is impossible because Ibaraki is a Berserker and they are capped at 2 moves per turn so even if you kill both hands Ibaraki can never attack more then twice in 1 turn.
Anyway the team I'm planning on doing at the moment is Jeanne Alter (lv 90), Santa Alter (lv 80), Support Waver, Cu (Lv. 60), Cursed Arm Hassan (Lv 65) and Mash (Lv 60)
Idea is to do my damage with the frontline and have Cu/CA Hassan come in to play stall if they do down (though part of me is tempted to switch one of them with my Lv 60 Robin Hood back there as a back up damage dealer, also might trade Cu for my Lv 90 Jeanne when I raise my master level, I need 1 more level to 127 so I can have 111 cost which will give me just enough to run replace Cu with Jeanne and still run five 5-star CEs)
Will use Combat Uniform to swap Santa Alter for Mash once hands are dead and Ibaraki has her first NP ready.
I'm using Santa Alter as my AOE since her NP is strong and she can be double buffed with Jeanne Alter's Dragon Witch skill. Though I may alternate her out for one of my other AOE options depending on the class of Ibaraki's hands, my alternate AOE options are.
Saber: Arturia/Arturia Alter/Mordred (Again all with Dragon Trait so can be double buffed by Jeanne Alter)
Archer: Gilgamesh (Can't be double buffed by Jeanne Alter (AOE Archer with Dragon Trait when DW?) but he's Gilgamesh)
Lancer: Elizabeth/Arturia Lancer Alter (Again can be double buffed by Jeanne Alter)
Caster: Halloween Elizabeth (You see the trend here right?)
Assassin: Sadly no AOE Arts option except Phantom and I'm not thrilled about idea of subbing him in for this event (need Shuten to come) so might just stick to Santa Alter on Rider days or put my Berserker in.
Berserker: Lancerlot (Would use Kiyohime for double Jeanne Alter Buff but my Kiyohime isn't quite up to level but since other then one 20 AP quest we're free to use our AP however we want for this event I might try to raise her since we can still farm Embers while doing the raid without being penalized, gonna need her for Onigashima later anyway.)
So that's my strategy for now, not sure how effective it will be, I also have Jack at level 80, part of me is wonder who would hit Iburaki harder a level 90 NP 1 Jeanne Alter or a Lv 80 NP2 Jack.
NP2 Jack will prob hit harder, but don't quote me on that lol. And you're right, I messed up on the turn count, she only attacks twice. I do believe she has an AoE attack that can crit though so in my defense she could still crit your team to death lol.

Well, first time ever commenting on a video, so far I think I have the spots covered, my main team would be Mash, Rama (which I grailed him to lv. 90) and a friend Waver, as the second team, should probably be David, Fran and d'Eon, which I need to level them up, but other than that I think I'm okay. do you think a buster or buster beserker team could work? If so do you have certain berserkers that'll be optimal for the event (my best one is a np4 Beowulf)? Also do you have any ideas on a code cast for this set up?
A buster berserker setup can work, but only if those berserkers are Herc and Cu Alter. Everyone else is too squishy. I would recommend battle suit

Unfortunately there isn't much you can do with that setup, not enough damage or stall. I would say try the 1 BP and get as much from it as you can. You can take a support Jeanne Alter with the Ushi CE and clear it in one turn with her NP. You might also be able to do the 2 BP with Jalter and Mash alone after you get a couple of the Kintoki CEs
I decided to swallow my pride and level Gilgamesh as high as I could, so far I managed to acomplish all Daily Missions (Days 1 & 2) clinging to whatever Jalters I could find on the support lists.
(About 10 levels away from Gil's 1st Ascention, but struggling to get his Charisma Skill enhanced)
ok... so tamamo waver orion facerolls the 6m stage as soon as you get your first 200% dmg ce. At np2 her np spams for about 900k and with a bit of creative waver swapping you can np your first 4 turns in a row on ibaraki stage. I'd say this will probably be the team of choice till we get more ce's and can start 1-2 turning this with jalter and an aoe servant.

A bit of warning so you do not get sucked into a trap I got. Some of the videos show how you can farm gourds without killing Ibaraki, just killing hands. Most videos would be from Summer 2017 JP, I guess it was a rerun. This does not work for this event.
Just a note, Ibaraki is a Berserker, so she only gets 2 hits per turn if you destroy the hands.

I think I am going to have to borrow a support tamamo to pair with my waver up front. Mine won't be ready in time. I have most of the damage dealers you mentioned, so I'm going to have to experiment to see who works best. My reserves are probably going to be a backup DPS, Mash, and either Lancelot or Santa Alter.

I think an Ushi, Mash, Jack frontline swapping Mash for Atalante to apply the quick buff is going to be my main strat.
Well I have a 10/10/10 GIl, Tamamo, and Waver. With Okita, Jeanne, and Cu Alter as back up I think I am set. Maybe grab a support Frank for clearing the hands.

While you didn't specifically mention Vlad in your servant recommendations, I assume the Vlad / Waver / Tamamo combo is still going to be very solid in this event right?

Yep that team is still top tier, I just recommend Orion over Vlad in this specific case because of her evade and better survival.
Well for once Nightingale will really be usefull she will take the same damage as every one :D
G&A, First a question. Between Orion and Robin who will do more to Ibaraki speciffically? I have both servants with Orion at np 2 and Robin at np 3. Second, a correction, both Robin and Ushi lack their evade skills for this Rashomon. Strengthening part 4 has not been released stateside.
1. Robin will still outdamage Orion I think, but not by much.

Thanks for the guide, I still need to up my game a little bit because she destroyed my ass 2 times already on the 3BP quest, I using my Jalter, Hans, Leonidas, Mash and a Waver from a friend, I think I lost because I totally ignored the hands and the right hand BP is really strong.
My best option for damage is gonna be jack. I think im going to have a support waver and use atalante to buff jack then switch out for someone like helena or david. Or maybe i should try to np chain with helena and waver for defense downs then overcharge jack np.
I had to come back to this, coz honestly I'm kinda struggling...
So it looks like my team will be Alter-chan, Mash, Support Waver. Little worried about not having some heals.
All I need are the CEs for the 6M raid , got a decent Waver and Maxed Okita ready + the lvl100 10/10/10 Friend Jalter with Ushi CE MLB already lol . Hope we can all wipe out the shops.

1_ How does Ibaraki NP interact with Necromancy and Herk Bond CE?
2_ What would you recommend picking from the support list: a damage dealer or a waver? Only damage dealers I have are Ushi, Shiki, Robin Hood and Herk
1. I don't think it removes CE effects so Necromancy and Herc's bond CE should work
2. Go with Waver or Tamamo, Robin Hood should be your main damage dealer

This is a good event to see how strong your servants are, I'll try out double waver and Iskandar to see if that works if not I'll use Orion instead of Iskandar.

This is my set up what I might consider. Was a close call between Cu Alter or Jeanne Alter. But think Cu's survivability will provide more secure.

G&A Reviews Best part is the party costs 48/108 team points. So I can equip them all with 5* CEs for a perfect 108/108 team.
Wow no mention of Bride Umu? I feel like she's built for boss fights like this. Single target NP with 5 turn defense down and critical down. Her skills are also all really useful for either being the main damage dealer or a decent arts support along with Waver. I personally plan on having Jack be the star of the show with Waver and Bride supporting her. I'll have my tanky stallers like george, leo, and mash in the back.
Bride can work, especially alongside Tamamo. In this instance though I didn't recommend her because her lack of a dodge or NP drain or any stall hurts her in raids and she isn't going to be able to outdamage the stronger ST servants. She can still work well though.
Heracles' bond CE's guts stays with her NP (I'm assuming since it's from CE, not a skill). If you have him, he makes an amazing backline, saved me so many times when my Jalter Waver Waver front line died too early.
I'm a f2p and I'm using a cu as my main damage dealer and 2 wavers, after all the buffs and one event ce (from the shop for 200 g, not LB) I could do 500,000+ damage with gae bolg, feels great.
Got through with:
lvl 100 Gil (NP 2) - Max LB Ushi
lvl 90 Waver - Kintoki
lvl 90 Waver (Support) - Kintoki
lvl 90 Okita - Kintoki
lvl 60 Mash
lvl 90 Scatch
I had to use 1 command seal to heal Gil (Not sure if needed because didn't even get to Mash).
I was able to spam Gil's NP 3 times, dealing 1.2 mil + 1 mil + 0.6 mil damage.
Brute forcing it works lol
