Ref also called that slip a pin but I watched it back a few times and his fingers are above the pin pad, not below. At least the reffing is equally bad for both athletes.

Does anyone remember back in the day when Dave Chaffee and RVJ had a small rivalry with each other when Dave was fairly new to the sport? I would love to see Dave and RVJ pull again seeing how they're both in the twilight of their careers.
It would be a mismatch. Dave is at least 20kg heavier than Rob and usually competes with super heavies. And I wouldn't say that either man is in the 'twilight' of their career. Both in their 40s and both having competed against some of the top guys around the world. They both are going through a difficult patch which has more to do with their personal lives than their armwrestling ability imo.

Anyone can just watch this video and play the first round and put it at .5 speed. Allen pins Rob. A great example of this was the Devon versus Genadi match. If that first round was called correctly Devon would have won that match. But instead we all know what happened... It's funny how tennis is the only sport that has eliminated this problem.
