@@nathan5266 I seen them yesterday in Chicago, they played right before 30 and started set up around 7:50 ish and played at 8 for about an hour I believe. Kennyhoopla and Poppy were the first two.
@@EastCoastPunx7 me too, I was lucky enough to see them in 97, 99 and 2000 before the MTV/Much Music era. Those early shows were something special that will never be duplicated.
@@EastCoastPunx7 Back in high school Weʻd see Davey walk up and down the streets of Berkeley posting flyers of his band all the time to his upcoming shows at Gilman back in the mid 90ʻs and the shows were anywhere from $3-$5. I always loved how much passion he had and how much he believed in himself and his band. He was also very approachable and took the time to talk with a bunch of young punks like us. As much as AFI has changed over the years Iʻll always have the utmost respect for them.
