For those that don't know they have a course for starters and it's only $230 and 15 hours. It's a steal to get the knowledge and experience as a small business, that's just starting out. Only use the very small amount I did in this video, and make sure you heat it. As you saw in my video, it does dissolve. If you alter the method, content, or oils used, it may have a different outcome.

We see only the pink-ish -turning leuco pigments. How about the same principle but for brown-turning components, that would look transparent in the formula? Is it possible to do a transparent water-based serum that would give a bronzing tint on the skin? (No self-tanning properties) Seems impossible with what we have on the market so far. I don’t need the end formula, just the guidance. Thank you!!

You need to use the same type of pigments, they need to be Bromo Acid dyes for the colour changing effect.

I’m inquiring regarding the colour-changing aspect. We see only the pink-ish -turning leuco pigments.
How about the same principle but for brown-turning components, that would look transparent in the formula? Is it possible to do a transparent water-based serum that would give a bronzing tint on the skin? (No self-tanning properties) Seems impossible with what we have on the market so far.

can we replace colorant with food colorant?
Potentially yes, but it won’t have the colour change result. Regulations regarding colours should always be checked specific to the product type and use, even if okay in foods, they should still be checked as regulations can differ for various reasons. :)

Belinda how can we make it to begin in a color (instead of clear) but will change into a different color?
You would prepare it in a similar way, but have a colour present to begin with - then make sure when the colour changes, it uses the colour that develops in a favourable way. E.g. you can start with red and make it turn apricot. I disagree, I believe you should use non-polar lipids instead so you could obtain a clear solution while using Bromodye without having to add any citric acid. You’re welcome!
