The bone disk looks to be part of a baby pacifier . The TH-camrs Northern Mudlarks have covered this in a couple of their vlogs. Refer to their 1year old vlog titled “Deadly Dummies & Mystery Finds” starting at 8:24 for another piece of the pacifier & at 9:17 to see the pacifier assembled w/ the disk.
Hi Mudpies! The Devil figure is a Royal Bareuth figurine. He was popping out of a shoe originally. I put this comment on earlier but it disappeared! Weird! 😮❤️
Thanks for this bit of feedback! I've been looking at these just now after your suggestion, there is such a collection of ceramic devils! Take care and look out for episode 2 😀💪x
rats! i just searched for some time & found that exact auction photo, only to come back here to see someone beat me to it! 😩 BUT…it was an interesting & enlightening search
My favorite find was puss at the end of the video!! Ha ha. No all the lovely blue bottles and the Effel Tower fruit juice bots cos my mum used to make me lemonade from their crystals one of those tiny bottles made a whole load of drink. You used to be able to get it in the 60's cos when I was first married I used to buy it. It came in a glass bottle in a box. Love the cockeral too.
i wonder if the little devil guy is a Halloween decoration of some kind. Victorians loved Halloween and séances so it wouldn't surprise me. Kit has found similar things and might know more! lovely rainy summer dig
I wonder if your cheeky devil had anything to do with Underwood Devilled Ham. My mother used to make revolting devilled ham sandwiches in the 70s! I think my favorite is the lead soldier.
Hello Tara! I think I'm more terrified of those sandwiches than the ceramic devil!!! We were really pleased with the lead soldier too, just something quite different for us. Take care 👍
Wow, some of those bottles have such great color! Little devil man is actually cute, but I'd chuck him back in the pit if weird things start happening lol 👹
I like that little rooster. He can be repaired and painted. This morning my phone was out of order, and the internet was down; so, I ran errands today. Then I did a little shopping. I noticed that someone is now trying to sell antique bottles at one of the consignment shops. You have made a big impression on someone here.
I like the little demon 😈 I've found a fairly local dump that I got a rare local Cheshire pub beer bottle from and a lovely compass brand green coffee bottle, but it's right by a road, so I get nervous digging it 😂 Some cracking finds there!
The round bone thingy with the hole in its middle goes to a babies Dummy, or a Pacifier as we call them in the states♥️ only know this on account of Northern Mudlarks ☺️ 10:11

The bone disc with the hole is from either a bone baby's dummy, or the horrible baby bottles of the day that had long rubber tubes that could not be properly cleaned, and caused a lot of infant mortality. The Northern Mudlarks have a couple of videos about them.
Nice to see you again. Hope you have had a nice holiday. Mine is about to end. Next time I hope to come to the south of England. Do some larking myself. Till next time.
There was also a brand of lye called Red Devil that was used as a drain cleaner, it is mentioned in various blues songs - - and throwing lye in a person's face was how more than one blind bluesman became blind - - Blind Willie Johnson was a victim of this sort of assault.
Love, love LOVE your kitty! I always watch to the very end for the gorgeous feline. By the way, Dad is looking younger and fitter. Whatever he's doing, is working.
Hi guys! I love the deep blue bottle! My mom and grandma have always collected colored bottles! Usually blue, red and green! My grandma was mostly English but she had Irish and Dutch too! She lived to be 100! 🙋🏼♀️🇺🇸🙏🏼
What a Pleasant Surprise to see your video posted!! I think whoever was drinking the fruit salts needed the the magnesia to recuperate from the sour stomach. As far as the Philip's Milk of Magnesia goes, your bottle is an earlier blown variant. They later switched to a cobalt bottle that is very common here in the states. I will say that the dirt was flying out of that hole. Well done, those visits to the gym have definitely paid off Josie. Can't wait for part 2!!😀💪🚴♂🥐

The bone ring at 10:10 is part of a baby's dummy according to the Northern Mudlarks. The nipple would have stuck thru the hole. I've never seen such a complete horse and soldier dug before.
Your mom was right about the devil being in an American advert campaign. There is a deviled ham in a tin good for spreading on what ever and eating it. It’s tasty with a tiny bit of bite to it. 👹😜♾️
