Josie and pops !!! sorry this is the only way i could get through to you..... i have worked as a co-commentator for the Urdd urban games the last few years, last time i called the street skate event with Rhiannon, (such an awesome person) i had no idea that Josie and her used to skate together ... however i knew you from your channel, but did not know at the time that you are friends with rhainnon, until i saw you in her skate clips! i have been collecting and digging for 11 years, ... i have half a barn full of bottles i have dug over the years, mostly Victorian dilapidated places on Anglesey North Wales, if you two ever fancy doing a dig up this way, there is a summer house for you both to share, and i have a ton of not dug bottle pitts! . anyways, love the channel, used to go on adventures with my pops all the time in canada, since then he's had a life changing stroke, lovely to see both of you out together, big love from llanberis north wales
I love watching the videos where you muck around in the mud instead of when you go digging holes. Thus the MUDpies. Much better. Mind you, I never miss a video. I love the two of you.
What an absolutely wonderful piece of history you’ve found. The bike lamp cover is epic. The buttons is awesome as well. You got quite an array of finds there, all very wonderful and unique
What IS Marmite ? Sounds like a small furry insect. I like the mustache very much. Nice to be in the creek. Only truly happy when you’re both heads down with runny noses 😊 Finished episode...no more mustache! :D
Hahahaha that made me (Josie) giggle. Marmite does indeed sound like a bug. I think it’s some sort of yeast extract?? Really difficult to describe it, it’s a weird salty sticky umami spread?? 😅
That kid I think it was, so sweet fist one I have ever seen.thank for sharing your video with us all. Your Friend Shirley from 😢 n🎉ne😢w Bern, north Carolina USA 🎉🎉😮🎉🎉🎉🎉 ❤😅😊❤
Awesome outing doods thanks - I actually feel myself physically relax when I hear the theme music at the start! A few things from this one... 1/ If that 50's milk bot has a logo its worth a few squidleys! 2/ Why re purpose a brass flag holder when you could use it at Mudpies HQ to display your own flag? 3/ "Dad - stay away from my bot" - good advice for any family I'd say! 4/ Love the railway button! 5/ Josie - not beltstein 3000. More like beltstein 5,655! Great adventure troops - see you again soon!
You got some “mud” there on your lip “dad” 😂😂😂😂🦄 I absolutely love the medicine bottle with the Roman numerals on it, fantastic find. And also that fancy glass stopper.
I always get excited to see a video from the MUDPIES one of my favorite channels on TH-cam should be at a 100k subs before long they definitely deserve it 👏
Love the bike light cap and the Victorian Med bot. One of these days I'll surprise you all with a visit. I'll be the one floating down the creek in a tube...with tequila in hand. Be well.
So happy to see you both again ! I always look forward to your squelching adventures 🤗 Another belter day of brilliant treasures to add to your collection and I can't wait to head out again with my favorite MUDlarking duo. Happy Holidays ! 🥰🥰 Hugs xx
It's a table full of bucket list finds!!! My favorite was the glass stopper, the oil lamp lid, and of course the MARMALADE! I would love to find a boots someday too! Thanks for sharing ❤
Lots of belter finds today! The bike lamp cap and button were fantastic. I always love the stoneware. As an Aussie it's Vegemite for me! Marmite isn't quite the same. Oi..oi from Oz ❤😊
That is so fun that bikes lamp. We call it: a Bakelite lamp. They are also the same shape for cars. Only bigger. Love the chicken cup. Nice finds as always.
Dear Mudpie family. 👍👌👏 Oh WOW, great finds. Congratulations! 🎉 I always enjoy your muddy adventures. It's always difficult to decide what I like the most. This time it might be the bicycle lamp top and the little stoneware bowle that is glazed only inside. The discrepancy between the rough, matt exterior and the smooth shiny interior is somehow intriguing. Of course you need to have such an oil burning bicycle lamp now. 😁 ;-) As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing. Best regards, luck and health in particular.
Glazing on the inside of a stone ware pot , used for food or food products. Glazing on the outside, more decorative use. Probably 1850 to1900 might be older.😊
Just stumbled across you both. It warms my heart to see you doing this together ❤️ My dad taught me everything I know. It wasn't broken until he couldn't fix it. I called him "the magpie" he had something for everything. I lost him 3 years ago but finally came to terms with grief. Looking forward to binging your videos!
That LNWR button is fantastic! A lot of my local lines were LNWR back in the day and railway finds are my favourite 😍 That brown bowl and the plant pot you threw back are lovely! I grow a LOT of plants so I always hope to find old terracotta plant pots etc! Good luck with the Christmas Etsy shop, mudpies videos are amongst the best after all!
Sorry late in watching, worth the wait, some unusual finds, loved the railway button and would never guessed the brass object was a bicycle lamp, excellent bottles x
hoi hoi dad and daughter drip, looks like a cold and windy day. beautiful finds again love the stoneware and the button, but what a amazing last find nice shape. love the video's see you next time greetings Pieter
I really love the stoneware. Being a potter, it has a special place in my heart. The bowl is lovely. It looks like it was fired upside-down. I love the deep color on the bottom. Merry Christmas to all.
Great finds i like the metal things and the chemist but i like everything you guys get. Looks like fun! Love the shirts I ordered. I want a bottle and a sea glass necklace. Love you guys! Keep it up! Carla USA
GREAT JOB , THE ONE I LOVE ,LOVE LOVE IS THE CHICKEN CUP , I DIED WHEN SHE PUT IT BACK IN THE WATER. IF YOU EVER SELL IT I WILL BUY IT PLEASE . IT JUST MOVED ME WHEN I SAW IT . SET A SPARK IN MY SOUL,LOL. HAPPY HUNTING AND I WILL BE WATCHING.
I love Marmite! I think people who hate it spread it too thick and it puts them off it for life. 😂 I remember that mug aswell as the pig version which went with it. Probably from BHS in the 80's at a guess. Fabulous finds!
As always you guys, very entertaining, rewarded with some great finds! To pick the best, very hard, but top of the list is the cap of that bicycle oil lamp Josie. Magic!! Close, close second is that unique bottle with Roman numerals, has to be a rare find, along with the railway button. Still love ceramic jars and those two were beauties!
Wow what fantastic finds! I love the old glass measuring bottle so cool. The bicycle lid, the chicken cup and the railways button are my favourites. You asked who likes Marmite, I’ve never had some but I really like butter and Vegemite on toast, yum! Great video always look forward to seeing you two have so much fun in the mud etc. take care. ❤️🇦🇺❤️
The simple brown bowl might be 16th to 19th. This info is from museum of london. This ‘country pottery’ came in a range of utilitarian forms, from jugs, to watering cans and drinking vessels but was widely used for other crockery items. We’re getting a bit of a hipster vibe here in the popularity of these rustic forms. What to look out for: fine, reddish-orange earthenware painted with a plain orange or green glaze on the inside, or sometimes on both surfaces
I am so jealous.!!🙃 You have no idea how much I want to come to the UK to explore. I live in Pennsylvania in the US. We have a lot of late 19th century bottle dumps to find and metal detecting is great here. A lot of history in Pennsylvania. But nothing like across the pond. Thanks for your videos. Keep them going. They are motivating!!! Stay safe!
Dad don’t look now but you have a hairy caterpillar under your nose. 😂🏴🏴
'Twas the night before Christmas

Not a mudlarker was moving

Why has Dad got a caterpillar crawling across his top lip? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I love watching the videos where you muck around in the mud instead of when you go digging holes. Thus the MUDpies. Much better. Mind you, I never miss a video. I love the two of you.
Love marmite, but as I’m in Australia, I’m a Vegemite girl all the way!👏👏👍🇦🇺
Vegemite......booo hisss! 🤣x
@@Mudpies you have to be born into it, it’s generational!🤣🤣🤣
What an absolutely wonderful piece of history you’ve found. The bike lamp cover is epic. The buttons is awesome as well. You got quite an array of finds there, all very wonderful and unique
We loved it, an unusual variety for us! 😀x
The brown earthenware pot glazed on the inside, could it be a Victorian pestle and mortar? Marmite ❤️ btw!
Wow, is it me or is the film quality super excellent. Fantastic video, thank you and cheers.
So glad you rescued the chicken cup! Very cute and a lot of people collect chicken items.
I just can't believe how it cleaned up!😀
Some nice finds the small pot looks like red ware ...

You got some “mud” there on your lip “dad” 😂😂😂😂🦄
I absolutely love the medicine bottle with the Roman numerals on it, fantastic find. And also that fancy glass stopper.
