The grout definitely isn't wet but a razor knife on cement grout does come out as fast. Takes more elbow grease tho. That will definitely chip tile however.

No matter what tool you use from electric to hand scrapers, there is a chance to chip tile. With hand scraping it's from pushing too hard then slamming into the adjacent tile. With any kind of electronic tool, hand control and dexterity is everything! Go slow but with a steady, firm hand and you'll be cool!
this thing is cheap ass fugazi, if you want the real deal, get a Multimaster by Fein and the grout remover attachment. Fein actually builds proper, lasting tools and they can be used for a whole lot more. Also, their grout removal tool is actually designed properly and is made from carbide not janky window steel
Instead of buying a whole tool for one very specific task, can we get a multitool attachment for that task?

Use a dremel with a diamond grit burr. Whichever size fits your grout line.
