- Do you like reading in the night? Let me introduce amazing book reader that allows you to read in complete dark without bothering anyone. All you need to build one is piece of wood, led stripe, batteries, switch button and acrylic glass. It's easy on the eyes and perfect to travel.

For anyone wondering you can buy a product like this online. The one I had growing up was called a LIGHT WEDGE, they are great for reading at night or on a road trip and it's dark outside.
The appeal here is that the "Lightwedge" is small - about the size of a trade paperback book. Roughly 8in x 6in. This is a much larger light for reading bigger books.

@@est495 i don't think its impractical, i haven't tried it myself but it looks like it'll perform as intended as long as the quality of acrylic is good and clean!
other than that i cant really comment on its use without making one myself!
@@hamzashetranjiwala3885 It probably works, but it's quite bulky. Imagine, you'd have to align it with the page every time you turn a new one. You'd also have to worry about it falling off the book while sitting/standing.
Just use a desk lamp. There are also small lamps that clip onto the book cover, much more conveniant and essentialy the same.
@@est495 true, and you're probably right it might be inconvenient in many situations, but i still think it'd be a fun project and a good conversation starter.

This is good! I really wanna see this as something a little more compact like a bookmark type, even if it has a thick glass or plastic pane! It would be perfect for roadtrips or those with room mates who likes sleeping with lights off.
They make this thing that's the size of a small book, lights up with adjustable brightness, one piece, and can store an entire library of books. Forget what it's called tho.

Great idea and execution...i recommend using a pusher when cutting those small pieces though. I see every day what kind of mistake can be made with fingers that close to the blade.
