I'd still recommend a proper, upgradeable PC with a console's budget for entry level, but if they already do everything for you to catch up, why not? Just make sure to check what firmware it runs in; Linux's Steam Proton would be about 10-15 percent less effective than a straight Windows machine. Even less so for non-Steam games.
The best (worst?) thing is that the dating sim is actually _really funny._ It's free on steam, so if you have some unsuspecting friends and a few spare hours, I actually recommend it.

This push to make drive-thru times impossibly low at the expense of everything else is the reason I left the food service industry in 2020 after 9 years. It got to the point where our manager would make us pull every car forward as soon as they paid, even if all they were getting was one barista drink. They don't realize that when you cut corners for speed, you ultimately create double the work for your employees and double the wait time for customers when you have to remake their entire order. But as long as their car is pulled forward, they're off our clock and it looks like we're fast.

I'm from Kentucky, from the town KFC originated from. and I can tell you it's absolutely depressing how shitty the company and it's food has gotten. The FIRST KFC is nasty and disgusting and I don't enjoy eating there. I wish the company could get their act together it makes me really sad to see what it's turned into.
I did not catch this video until August 2021, but after seeing this one and the 2016 one I can tell you that you have it right. For example, in my home town of Jackson MS there is only one KFC that serves the mostly affluent section of town (aka those who can afford to pay their prices). I go to this store four times and all four times they were out of what I wanted to order -- twice substituting a different side without telling me at the order. And when they charge me over $20.00 for three legs, three wings, a large slaw and a Mtn Dew, I know I am getting the shaft. And all of this is done two doors down from a Popeyes and across the street from Chick-Fil-A. I may have just sworn off this KFC for the rest of my life -- unless I want to drive 10 miles to a KFC that at least has what I want.

In other words, make a video about another titan of a company that has fallen, and how they can improve in that same tough-love, concise, passionate style. Think like the Company Man TH-cam Channel, but more fast-paced and comedic.
Instead of spending money on this “movie”, instead of any of this crap, the executives could actually make the wise decision to PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES A LIVABLE WAGE, thus improving employee retention and “customer service”. Until they decide to acknowledge the real issues that plague the brand, their restaurants will continue to perform poorly, potentially into bankruptcy.
I was surprised that the customer feedbacks (at least in australia), made a difference to my local kfc's cleanliness. They would give out free chips and drink for a feedback, and my only gripe was that it's always dirty inside. Over 2 months it got noticeably cleaner. Local manager does his job :o

Hey Austin! So KFC was one of the last fast food chain restaurants to jump on the mobile ordering train. That’s right, McDonalds and Taco Bell has been at it since something like 2014, and KFC in the US has just started in 2021. Anyways. I’m excited to try out this feature. So I make my order, get myself over to the restaurant, and at the drive thru (keep in mind there is nobody in front of me or behind me because, well, no one goes to KFC), the guy tells me I have to come inside for my mobile order, which is… ready for pickup at the front counter? I ask him why, and the guy tells me that mobile orders are to be picked up by the counter because that’s what KFC’s policy is. Keep in mind that after I walked in confused, my order was, in fact, sitting there with no one in the store, no one going through the drive they, while about 5 employees who had access to the drive thru window we’re all within 10 feet or second’s reach of my order. Why. Oh and btw, my order was incorrect 😀
The even more hilarious thing is, KFC is insanely popular over here in Australia because they are basically a meme now. The Zinger Box has become a huge internet meme, and let me tell you I’ve had my fair share of Bacon and Cheese Zinger Box’s in my life, and the intake has gone up significantly over the past year. It’s cheap, AU$15.50 for a zinger burger, large chips, potato and gravy and a large drink ain’t too bad. The advertising is none of this bullshit pantomimes, they just get into the Australian mindset. They have hit the meme PERFECTLY, and the phrase “Did someone say KFC” is pretty well ROOTED in most Australian minds. In the drive thru, they literally have it up on the sign and it says “C’mon thru, mate.” The restaurants are usually reasonably clean, they’re never perfect but they’re not bad. How in the hell do they get it so right here, and in Japan, but they screw it up so badly in the country they were friggin BORN in? It’s ridiculous.

I'm from Kentucky, from the town KFC originated from. and I can tell you it's absolutely depressing how shitty the company and it's food has gotten. The FIRST KFC is nasty and disgusting and I don't enjoy eating there. I wish the company could get their act together it makes me really sad to see what it's turned into.
I'm convinced the Kiara Fan Club is more profitable than KFC at this point.

I did not catch this video until August 2021, but after seeing this one and the 2016 one I can tell you that you have it right. For example, in my home town of Jackson MS there is only one KFC that serves the mostly affluent section of town (aka those who can afford to pay their prices). I go to this store four times and all four times they were out of what I wanted to order -- twice substituting a different side without telling me at the order. And when they charge me over $20.00 for three legs, three wings, a large slaw and a Mtn Dew, I know I am getting the shaft. And all of this is done two doors down from a Popeyes and across the street from Chick-Fil-A. I may have just sworn off this KFC for the rest of my life -- unless I want to drive 10 miles to a KFC that at least has what I want.

Instead of spending money on this “movie”, instead of any of this crap, the executives could actually make the wise decision to PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES A LIVABLE WAGE, thus improving employee retention and “customer service”. Until they decide to acknowledge the real issues that plague the brand, their restaurants will continue to perform poorly, potentially into bankruptcy.
I was thinking in the same direction. In other countries the minimum wage is much higher than in the USA.
I was surprised that the customer feedbacks (at least in australia), made a difference to my local kfc's cleanliness. They would give out free chips and drink for a feedback, and my only gripe was that it's always dirty inside. Over 2 months it got noticeably cleaner. Local manager does his job :o

Hey Austin! So KFC was one of the last fast food chain restaurants to jump on the mobile ordering train. That’s right, McDonalds and Taco Bell has been at it since something like 2014, and KFC in the US has just started in 2021.
Anyways. I’m excited to try out this feature. So I make my order, get myself over to the restaurant, and at the drive thru (keep in mind there is nobody in front of me or behind me because, well, no one goes to KFC), the guy tells me I have to come inside for my mobile order, which is… ready for pickup at the front counter? I ask him why, and the guy tells me that mobile orders are to be picked up by the counter because that’s what KFC’s policy is.
Keep in mind that after I walked in confused, my order was, in fact, sitting there with no one in the store, no one going through the drive they, while about 5 employees who had access to the drive thru window we’re all within 10 feet or second’s reach of my order.
Why.
Oh and btw, my order was incorrect 😀

The even more hilarious thing is, KFC is insanely popular over here in Australia because they are basically a meme now. The Zinger Box has become a huge internet meme, and let me tell you I’ve had my fair share of Bacon and Cheese Zinger Box’s in my life, and the intake has gone up significantly over the past year.
It’s cheap, AU$15.50 for a zinger burger, large chips, potato and gravy and a large drink ain’t too bad.
The advertising is none of this bullshit pantomimes, they just get into the Australian mindset. They have hit the meme PERFECTLY, and the phrase “Did someone say KFC” is pretty well ROOTED in most Australian minds. In the drive thru, they literally have it up on the sign and it says “C’mon thru, mate.”
The restaurants are usually reasonably clean, they’re never perfect but they’re not bad.
How in the hell do they get it so right here, and in Japan, but they screw it up so badly in the country they were friggin BORN in? It’s ridiculous.
