Thank you very much sir, I just discovered your channel ; you explained very well. Looking forward to watch all your videos. I request you sir to be more descriptive sir🙏 I am so glad that i found your channel☺
I couldn't understand the reason behind: "Near point of accomodatio (NPA) and NPC are both remote (far) in Non-Refractive Hypoaccomodative (normal AC/A) Esotropia" Hypoaccomodative means there is weakness (less than usual) of accomodation. To look for near clearly, uncorrected hyperopic eye tend to accomodate more (much higher than usual accomodation required) which creates squint at near only. As accomodation exerted is high, why NPA and NPC are far? It should be near.
this simple explanation is when you are unable to accommodate (stimulus accommodation ) you start converging more so that convergence accommodation ( CA ) can help to make it clear
The term NPA is far refers to inability to make object clear at a near distance for example if normal NPA is 10cm for a patient with hypo accomodation it could be 15 or more which makes it remote
@@OPTOMETRYWITHTARIK As the patient convergered more (CA) to clear the image, there should be high Near point of convergence ie the point lies near the patient, Why is it written far (remote) in texts?
when you overuse your convergence then high chance that it could result in weakening it if there is no blur stimulus which makes it work excess so when we give target fr convergence its a line not words which has to be clear so sometimes we see that the patient has less convergence also
Really you r gem of squint , thank you sir , like a hero of squint movie
Thank you for your appreciation
