    Loud & clear brother. Since the content of salah is by recting or reading the Qur-an & must understand what he is reading or reciting, therefore we can read the English translation for those who cannot understand Arabic.

      My other clarification brother is about salatul wusta. Based from ur explanation, this salatul wusta is not mandatory or not obligatory. Salatut Tahadjud belong to Salatul wusta. I need ur reply.

    I am so glad to have found your channel this is amazing with the first person of all the Quran only people did I get a really clear understanding for. I mean the rest are great too but yours is very relatable and understandable the way you explain. You also don't draw it out so far wherever I lose concentration. You mind doing another video about salat again with animation. If not can you make a list really quick of how the connection prayer works

    Great video. I would encourage you to reflect on 2:238 where Salatul Wusta is mentioned and really look at the context of the verses before and after you will realize that it has nothing to do with prayer. Allah is giving legislation on spouses, divorcee, widows etc.. and how we should handle them. Then HE urges us to be BALANCED in our salat basically to find always the the good middle or balanced decision.

      Walaykum Salam. Yeah, I try to make as many in my voice as I can; but sometimes when I don’t have the time to record, I make one with computer generated voices, that way I at least make something rather not make anything until I make the time to record. But I try, and InshAllah I will shift mainly to recording, but time does not always permit me unfortunately. Thanks for the comment though. I hope you like the videos; those with my voice anyway, hehe

    Salamoon Alaikum brother. I'm so happy to find your channel. Since I'm from a non arabic speaking country, we have so many types of explanations including reference of so called hadiths that I was confused and thought its fazr, asr (Wusta) and Isha. now I know only two. My question is as taught to us, is it a must that you have to go to sleep and then wake up to offer tahajjud? And also is it a must to offer them in jamat? Thank you so much brothe, jazak Allah Khair

    • @chillinwithscripture3033
      @chillinwithscripture3033  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Walaykum salam brother. Thanks for the question , as well as the comment. No, you don’t have to go sleep before performing tahajjud, you can do it before going to sleep, and no it doesn’t have to be in jamat. There is no such thing in the Quran that doing salat in jamat is better than doing it while alone as far as rewarding is concerned. The Quran clearly shows Zachariah making salat alone while he was in the chamber, so there is no must to offer it in jamat. That being said, if you want to offer in jamat, there is clearly nothing wrong with that at all, and it can be very good socially, as it can help build comradery and societal awareness and cohesion, especially if you live in a tight community, however the rewarding of the salat itself in eyes of Allah solely depends on the individual and their devotion to Allah during that salat, and not collectively. So, socially it can be argued that it’s better because it creates cohesion and social awareness, as matters that concern the society can be discussed and evaluated when people meet for the salat, and that way everybody can be informed as to what may concern them, however with Allah, the rewarding of the salat will depend on the individual devotion rather than the collective. Thank you. I hope that answers your question 😊

    The word sajda must mean submit in verse 4:102, (and in every other verse when you read the context in which the word is used), after they have submitted, (with understanding of course,) to the reading during the salaah, "then let them fall back to let the others forward to hear the reading", how can they fall back when they are prostrating? That is my understanding. Carry on the great work. Peace.

    • @chillinwithscripture3033
      @chillinwithscripture3033  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gabiebachmat1811 thats fine if that’s how you choose the read the verse; but for me it is not to be understood as if it is saying “while they are prostrating, let them fall back” rather, it is “when they have prostrated.” Meaning when they have done, i.e. finished the act of prostrating. Similar to chapter 33, verse 53, which has the phrase “when you have eaten, then disperse throughout the land.” Here clearly, you cannot ask the question “how can you disperse throughout the land while you are eating?. The implication of the verse is clearly stating that when you have finished eating, then disperse throughout the land. Similarly, the verse in question states “when they have prostrated, then let them fall back to the rear of you” - meaning when they have finished prostrating, then let them fall back behind you. This simply how language works. No need for semantics in my opinion. Thanks for the comment though. Appreciate it. ❤️

      One thing to say brother is it mentioning when touching women. If a woman were to read this who perhaps is young unaware this wouldn't make sense.
      I feel it's translation is also incorrect and Al moses PhD came with an interesting probable translation below. It's more about intention and purifying ones intention before Salah (duty/making the two way connection with god whenever you do anything). And reciting the Qur'an at night/dawn is to keep ourselves mindful of why we're hear and reinforce our submission to Allah perhaps. May Allah guide us to the true meaning as so many new findings this last week and I wonder if a lot of translations coming out strange is due to an inner bias we have to remove and come to the Qur'an as neutral as possible to get the true meaning. With no predispositions except for the the truth.

    To sujuud after having had the scriptures read to you is to submit. It can not follow that you put your forehead on the ground because you’ve heard the Quran.

      @chillinwithscripture3033  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for commenting.
      Well, you can see as such if you wish; but for me, it is quite evident that even if it were submission, it can be accompanied by physical acts of devotion to God, here in particular physically bowing one’s head to the ground to show reverence to the divine. I don’t believe there is anything wrong with that at all. I do agree that in certain ayaat, though the word sujood is used, it doesn’t refer to physical prostration. Whereas other places, there is a slight difference, in that the physicality of sujood is indicated, by the usage of the word kharra, meaning to literally collapse one’s body out of remorse, as we can see in the incident of dawood, or about the example of the prophets in surat maryam and again in surat israa. In both these places, particularly about salat, it is quite evident to me that there actually is physical movement happening.
      But again, to each their own. As long as one’s heart is connect to God, whether one shows that by physically bowing or not, and their hearts are humbled before their Lord, that’s all that matter really.

      @@hja.nenengtiamwat6070 Yes of course. The Quran clearly says not to approach the Salat until you know what it is that you are saying. So, understanding is a necessity for you to actually benefit from the salat. If you cannot read or understand Arabic, then use a translation that you are pleased with. But of course it’s better to learn. Remember, you don’t need to know Arabic or speak Arabic to understand the Quran. All you need is just to understand the words that are in the Quran in your language.

    *Who are الْمُصَلِّينَ the Musalleen ?*
    Is it those who observe the ritual prayers ?
    Lets find out.
    70:19 Verily, man is created with an anxious disposition.
    70:20 When they are afflicted, they complain,
    70:21 And when good touches him, withholding [of it],
    70:22 Except الْمُصَلِّينَ the MUSALLEEN.
    70:23 *Those in their SALAT (صَلَاتِهِمْ) who are CONSTANT (دَائِمُونَ).*
    70:24 *And They (Al Musalleen) are those who assign a certain share of their money/property (أَمْوَالِهِمْ)*
    70:25 *for the needy (لِلسَّائِلِ) and the deprived (وَالْمَحْرُومِ),*
    70:26 *And (Al Musalleen are those) who acknowledge/accept as true (يُصَدِّقُونَ) the Day of Judgment (بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ),*
    70:27 *And (Al Musalleen are the ones) who are afraid of the torment of their Lord,*
    70:28 the punishment of their Lord is not something for them to feel secure of,
    70:29 *And (Al Musalleen are the ones) who guard (حَافِظُونَ) their modesty*
    70:30 Except from their spouses or what they possess rightfully then indeed, they (are) not blameworthy,
    70:31 but whoever goes beyond this is a transgressor;
    70:32 *And (Al Musalleen are those) who honor their trust and promises(وَعَهْدِهِمْ),*
    70:33 *And (Al Musalleen are those) who testify to what they have witnessed (شَهَادَةَ),*
    70:34 *And (Al Musalleen are) those who, on their SALAT صَلَاتِهِمْ keep a guard يُحَافِظُونَ,*
    70:35 such people will receive due honor in Paradise.
    Further Clarification of ayahs 70:22-34
    *Spending Wealth, Charity*
    70:24 They (Al Musalleen) are those who assign a certain share of their money/property (Amwālihim أَمْوَالِهِمْ).
    70:25 for the needy and the deprived,
    Clarification :
    [107:1] Do you know who rejects the deen
    [107:2] Who turns away the orphan
    [107:3] And does not encourage the feeding of the poor.
    [107:4] So woe to those "LILMUSALLEENA" لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ
    [107:5] [But] who are heedless of their "SALAT" صَلَاتِهِمْ
    [11:87] They said: "O Shu'ayb, does your SALAT order you that we leave what our fathers served, or that we do not do with our money/property (Amwālina أَمْوَالِنَا) as we please? It seems only you are the compassionate, the wise!"
    [9:103] Take from their money/property(Amwālihim أَمْوَالِهِمْ) a charity (صَدَقَةً) to purify them and develop them with it, and make SALAT with them; for your SALAT is a tranquility for them; and God is Hearer, Knowledgeable.
    *Belief, Qualities:*
    70:26 (And Musalleen are those) who acknowledge the Day of Judgment,
    Clarification :
    [27:3] Those who establish "SALAT" and contribute towards purification. *AND THOSE WHO ARE CERTAIN ABOUT THE LIFE-TO-COME.*
    [4:162] who perform the "SALAT" diligently, and contribute towards purification, *AND BELIEVE IN ALLAH AND THE AFTERLIFE*
    *Guarding Ones Modesty*
    70:29 (Al Musalleen are the ones) who guard their modesty
    70:30 except from their wives and those whom they rightfully possess [through wedlock], for which they incur no blame
    Clarification :
    [29:45] Recite, what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish "SALAT". *Indeed, "SALAT" prohibits immorality and wrongdoing,* and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do.
    *Fulfill Pledges, promises:*
    70:32 (Al Musalleen are those) who honor their trust and promises,
    Clarification :
    [2:177] ...establish "SALAT", and contribute towards purification, *AND FULFILL THE PLEDGES/PROMISES MADE BY THEM.*
    *Truthful Testimony*
    70:33 And (Al Musalleen are those) who testify to what they have witnessed (بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ),
    Clarification :
    [5:106] O you who believe, witnessing (شَهَادَةُ) shall be done if death is approaching one of you and a will is being made, by two among you who are equitable. If you have gone forth in the land, and death is approaching, then any two may suffice - if you have a doubt regarding them, then detain them after making the *SALAT,* and they will swear by God: "We will not purchase with it any price, even if it was from a near relative, *AND WE WILL NOT CONCEAL THE TESTIMONY (شَهَادَةَ)* of God, else we are of the sinners."
    *Guard the Salat*
    70:34 *And (Al Musalleen are) those who, on their SALAT صَلَاتِهِمْ keep a guard يُحَافِظُونَ,*
    Clarification :
    [6:92] And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed, authenticating what is between his hands, and that you may warn the capital of the towns and those around it. And those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, *AND THEY GUARD THEIR SALAT.*
    Salat is not a ritual prayer.

      The Musalleen are as those verses that you quoted. But again; you may consider it as a ritual or not; to me it is; as per the definition of ritual is simply something that is done repeatedly in a particular way. Per this definition, it makes the Salat a ritual. This is the way I see it. Furthermore, I only used the Quran, except for one incident to reference the previous scripture, that the same is found therein; but as for everything I presented, came straight from the Quran ALONE. Just because I don’t interpret the word salat as not a ritual, that doesn’t mean I am not using the Quran alone. If you look at my definition of the word Salat, even that I took from the Quran.
      Salam to you as well.
      Quran alone as always when it comes to the best form of guidance, no doubt.
