I'm in awe of your knowledge, energy, personality and style! I'd love to see: - related to basics: how to wear color with denim, how to turn it into a look rather than just blue jeans with a colorful tshirt. Are there any rules, should you mix pastels with light denim and strong colors with dark denim etc. - holiday packing (always 🙂) - co-ords but in a form of skirts and tops. How can you style them separately and together - how to look chic in a heatwave in a city - regular videos about what you're buying and why, it gives me huge inspiration. Lots of love to the whole team!!
This is my favorite series, and this, like Upping the Ante, are my favorite episodes. I suppose it is because the classics are my preferred style, but who wants to be boring?
Loved this episode on basics! I kept thinking that “to make more of an effort” meant to give my basics a rest for awhile. Time to wake them from their nap! Time for basics to meet new friends!
You've inspired me so the other day when I went to town I eore my red white blue and black striped top which is very long so I put a wide Velvet Belt on to give me a waste & wore it with a long flowing black skirt, chunky comfortable shoe & red scarf... And I did the 1/2 tuck with a grey long sleeve fitted tee, to expose the pop of green & grey on the waist band of my black yoga pant for my walk yesterday. I felt like magic in both outfits!! I already have your "Who do you want to be today" book, I've had it for over 10 years and I've had heaps of fun playing with different looks but I'm really enjoying the Closet Confessions videos with the extra little tips. Thank you so much!!
Once again - I am reminded that if I TRIED FOR A THOUSAND YEARS I will never ever be able to put outfits together that look that amazing in less than 10 seconds.... oh to have Trinny's skills!!!! Just in absolute awe....
Hello Trinny fun looks. I actually liked the gray jeans with the shirt on top of the t-shirt when you still had on the lamé Saint Laurent scarf, it looked very interesting all of them together 🌞

Love it. You said the grey jeans were of a length that you can’t wear heels with, I wish you would do a video on the length that can or can’t look good with heel height. I always have a problem with which shoe to wear with different jeans/trouser length. I’m 5ft 5 with longer body and short legs type so I like to wear heels xx
dream in life is to have a closet that can offer my every color for all pieces i need, to be all in red, all in pink, all in silver, and then mix and match, love this,, big fan since forever

I love giving myself a false waist and hiding my menopause tummy at the same time. I am short bodied (high hipped) and long legged, so I drop my belt just below the bump of my tummy, sitting it around my lower hips (narrowed part below high hip), tuck or French tuck my top in, hey presto, tummy gone, body lengthened and waist achieved. Throughly recommend false waistlines!
@@amandamatthews7487 I definitely don’t feel lucky, someone with short body, high hips and a big tummy rarely feel lucky, it’s a very difficult shape to dress. Get it wrong and it’s like two piggies in a blanket fighting to get out 🫣😂
Thank you for all your videos. They are always so helpful and loving this basics one. Please can you do video on how to elevate linen clothes especially on petites.
I'd really love these longer videos in landscape. I understand you make your shorter ones in portrait for mobile phones but with the longer videos, even on mobile, people instinctively switch to landscape. it's a lot more comfortable on the eyes for a long form video. Much love x
You are such an inspiration for me Trinny, it's great entertainment and tutorial. Thank you very much. Do you also have time to do a Zara shop up after sale? Kind regards, Anna
This video could also be called: the importance of accessories. Some well chosen accessories and clever tucks to basic items elevates them. I think I might do that video on my channel thanks!
Hey Trinny; love your videos! I have 2 suggestions for further closet confessions-type content. 1) how to style around tattoos - how to accentuate them, not clash with them 2) how to shop for clothes using an online platform (this would really help those who live in rural settings who want to up their wardrobe but can't always visit stores in person to try things on).

Fantastic Trinny. Great accessories - re belt and footwear. I have a few Breton tops that I love. Red lippy, just the best. Zara jeans used to look great on me. Sadly no longer, being only 5 foot two. Now I would have to turn them up by about 6 inches. Which is a shame because I love straights and flares. Though I now have to go Asos petite etc. I love the silver coat. It’s not sequinned, and I love it! I like the pink and grey. Lovely shirt. Pink and grey is gorgeous. I love those double bangles you have too. I love metallic. Lovely jacket. Yes, a great sleeveless jumper, great trainers too.

I always wear a belt if the garment has belt loops, it just looks more polished. I don’t want to draw attention to my not-well defined waist, so I wear a matching, rather than contrasting, color with most outfits.
Sorry but I do get cross when you advocate tucking tops in. Yes, ok if you have ' a bit of a tummy '; but my ' bit of a tummy ' is so big now that a tucked in top would just look hideous. And as for belts, don't even go there. So, would you have a tip for us women who are REALLY big around the middle? Because apart from having tops hanging out I don't know what to do. (Ditto the half tuck)
Would love Trinny to do a "how to hide your tummy" video using someone like Chloe who actually has a tummy other than herself who doesn't. Chloe is more of a typical UK woman's shape than super slim Trinny who used to be a model.
Trinny I need your help. Tuck the top in is the standard advice these days and I have no tummy to hide. But I do have high hips that go straight out, hip dips, and worst of all, a very short torso. Tucking in makes me look awful. What can I do? I still want to look modern. I’m not old!
☝️🎁☝️👆👆 Thank you for watching and commenting congratulations you have been selected in my draw 🎊🎉✨winners Use the above name on telegram to claim your prize.........(winners only)
I always tuck in my tops, or wear waist-length ones. By wearing long ones, it ruins the proportions, making the legs look stumpy. Especially for shorter-overall or short-legged women. The long tunic top over leggings (especially capri/mid-calf length, disaster!) is the least flattering, most aging and frumpy outfit there is.
I was thinking the same. It just looks like…”Oops, I forgot to finish off my hem!” 😬 I do, however, like the raw edge look on certain pants, preferably straight leg jeans and skinny jeans….YES..I do still wear skinny jeans even though they are “Out of Style”! I would also like to see her pants a bit longer. She has these incredible legs that just go on forever! The wide leg pants stopping at the ankle seem to cut the length of her legs. Oh Lord to have her shape and legs would be awesome! I am a 69 year old, 4’10 woman with a “mature” body shape (take that as you will!). Styling this little munchkin frame poses quite a few challenges!
I so respectfully disagree here! The distressed edges add a cool factor without being too "young". Trinny suggests the tiny details we can use to look current without looking like we are trying too hard.
😬Hmm, your choice of the word fawning might be a reflection of your own character〰️not Trinny's staff. Perhaps it is your practice to try to win approval via flattery, so you see that as put upon or disingenuous. Complimenting others can certainly be a manipulative tactic that some ppl employ to get ahead in life &/or their career. 🤔Think it's far more likely that strong, creative women w/a passion for fashion are naturally drawn to work for her. I imagine they are invigorated & inspired by her 🪄amazing artistry, clear vision, knowledge, wonderful wardrobe, & willingness to take risks. Clearly, she chooses ppl that share the same meteoric joy on the subject. 🌠Trinny's just on another level. 😉Plus, if you feel good about yourself & confident, you want to build others up 📈 in their endeavors. You want to tell them when they hit the mark or exceeded the goal 🎯. Her inner circle might be diplomatic, but they're not afraid to be candid when they believe things are amiss or not quite right in her 📸 looks💥. They also share helpful suggestions to get her back on target too. They emulate her same encouraging behavior while refining their own visual skills at the same time. 🧏♀️Trinny may be an expert, but she understands that style is still somewhat subjective. When it comes to fashion analysis, it's best to be discerning about your own tastes, preferences, & prejudices on the subject. You need to give others room to express themselves. 🤗Lastly, when you decide to be in anyone's 🚩fan club, it's quite natural to gush a bit. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

Fun video and so relatable to your viewers. As for the tucking in with a tummy, I think adding a third layer is key!
Watching you is like virtual shopping. I find myself purchasing apparel similar to what is in your closet. Thank you for making shopping fun.

Hi @trinny can you perhaps do a show about fabrics? I learn sooooooo sooo much from you! #inspired
Love it❤
love u trinny❤
What is the brand of these yellow and white sport shoes that you wear please?
Can you link the silver jacket, I can't see it on the website x
I’m sure I’m not the only person asking - but where are the silver brogues from at 1:32?

must say hate trainers only use f long walks gym prefer loafers or dainty
Trinny those Zara jeans are sloppy because of the threads hanging from the bottom. Not chic at all even though they may be fashionable

The shoes are tragic
Im in the minority but I just don't like crop pants.
I feel the same way. They make short legs look even shorter.
