If you're wondering what to visit in Portugal, this what I consider another great destination!
Spending a day at Paiva Walkways is a unique experience in Portugal and you should include it in your travel bucket list!
I absolutely loved Passadiços do Paiva, and was looking forward to sharing this place with you. Let me know if you've been there too, how was it like... and if you haven't been there let me know if this is something you would definitely consider visiting!
As this is a linear path, we walked approximately 17KM. It took us 6 hours in total! But if people want to do just one of the ways it's OK: there are taxis in both sides of the walkways and they will take you to your starting point. Also, if you don't bring snacks and drinks with you there are restaurants/cafes on both sides of the walkways, and an area with a bar and toilets (very clean with toilet paper available) at KM4.

Começaram em Espiunca e não desceram os 438 degraus até à praia fluvial do Areinho, o percurso começa lá, assim só fizeram 15 Km
Sim nós optamos por não colocar todas as filmagens :) essa parte do percurso vai ficar para quando lançarmos o vídeo da visita à ponte! Obrigada pela informação de qualquer forma!

Ahah yeah they have a few steep areas here and there 😜 just to start there are 438 steps up if people start from the opposite site: will show that to you when I go there again walk the big bridge!

No início do vídeo, vocês estavam Castelo de Paiva, lugar de Pedorido, praia das Concas, os buracos esculpidos na pedra, eram as portas de acesso aos moinhos de água que agora estão em ruínas. Perto da praia fluvial no início do vídeo, existe o trilho de Pejão Velho, percurso circular que junta a natureza com história das minas do Pejão.
Sim, nós perdemo-nos um bocado pelo caminho mas adorámos esse sítio. Apercebemo-nos que havia um trilho ao longo do rio. Temos que ir novamente e explorar melhor toda a zona, que é lindíssima!! Obrigada por toda a informação, será bastante útil para uma próxima escapadela!!! 🙏
