Forgot to mention I wanna do a 2 player run through on Zombies Ate my Neighbors on SNES in addition to everything else. Seriously it's funner than all hell
Fatal Frame 1 is probably the scariest game I've ever played. Still need to finish the second. Have you played the Wii version yet? Also Camera Obscura.
what games do play on december because i like the idea to play christmas like games on christmas time but i don't know a lot of christmas like games the only ones i do know is kingdom hearts 2 and nights christmas
From what I understand, the PS3 version has been patched and many of its issues are fixed (although in 2, the fog was almost a mockery of the original; not sure if that was fixed). The XBox 360, however, the problems haven't been fixed and likely never will.
Also, I bought a special edition of RE6. It has all the RE games from RE 1: Directors Cut to RE 5: Gold Edition. So for this month of October I'll be playing Residnet Evil games!
The Silent Hill piano puzzle is legendary, easily in the top 10 puzzles of all time. would like to see you do a video for your top 10 puzzles in video games Mr OmegaSin
It's called the "Camera Obscura" for the Fatal Frames. I'll probably play the 4th one on the Wii console this month! A bit of PS1 Tenchu stealth games too!
I don't have any horror themed games planned for right now, though being October kinda makes me consider playing something horror. I might get RE6 sometime this month, but its debatable whether that can really be considered horror, maybe Leon's campaign.
bought a special reproduction translation cart of Sweet Home gonna be playing that all through October along with the Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, and Resident Evil 1-4.
there was a game or series much rather i forgot to mention i find worth mentioning. The "Techmos Deception series" more notable the first installment for PS one for which the series is named after. It's not labelled as a horror and only is rated T. But it's such a unsettling, dark story that's seems to fit horror quite well. it's such an obscure series that unfortunately flew under the radar. wish there'd be something more like this type of game out currently.
a random question alpha but since the game in question has a "darker theme" or at least try's to have one. What do you think of shadow madness? I have an idea :/ I mean the game is severely broken among many things wrong with it. However I cant help but find a fondness for it. I picked it up in mint condition for under 20 bucks.
Try checking out an indie game called Eversion. I'm not scared by horror games or horror movies, but something about that game creeped me the hell out. It might just be the contrast of its bright and sunny colors that suddenly get fucking dark as hell.
Rule of Rose, Haunting Ground, Costume Quest, the penumbra games, amnesia the dark decent, Resident evil and Resident evil 2, fatal frame 1 and 2, Doom, Post mortem, Scratches, and a few others.
Just wondering have you ever been to a Half-Price books store? They have used video games, I just picked up Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem from there last week, gonna be playing that this month
LMAO hearing you give your opinion on the HD version in this video is hilarious after I heard you say you were looking forward to it in an older video haha
Man u are seriously a full on gamer, look at that vast collection behind u there! Any thoughts on the wii u and everyone slating it for the unrealised consoles? Should have my wii u tomorrow
I'm not talking about how easy the game is, which it certainly isn't a cake walk, to me at least. I said that it was still a survival horror game, and still felt like a Resident Evil game. The last RE game to have a horror feel was Revelations on the 3DS.
I got several games is coming to me through the mail . I am planning playing playing resident evil 1 remake , 2 and 3. I am all-so getting silent hill 1. I cant wait onto I get these games
I thought I'd play all classic Resident Evils, Medievil 1 and 2, which have a little different type of Halloween feel to them, and maybe Dead Space too. My ultimate goal however is to play Haunting Ground through for the very first time.
Due to time constraints, probably going to end up only playing Silent Hill 3 and Fatal Frame 1 and 2. Never played any of them but I have owned them for years.
Hey Alpha, I got the Silent Hill 2 remake collection on ps3 and since the patch they actually fixed all the shit that was wrong with it. When I first got it you literally couldn't keep running because of the disc load wouldn't keep up. Its actually all good now and I'd highly recommend it if you can pick it up for around $20.
I'm going to be 100% ghost listing Fatal Frame III because that's the only one I haven't yet. it may not be as good as the first two but it's still good and has it's moments.
Hell yeah! Horror month is back and now its time to get my scare on! I plan to start off with Dino Crisis 1 and 2, Catherine, Dead Space 1 and 2, and Amnesia! those are what I have planed so far now let the scream begin!!!
I will probably play through the Condemned games again. I know Bloodshot jumped the shark but I wish Monolith would return to this series and give us another game.
REmake is an actual remake though, with very little exception, all it is is a graphical overhaul. Most remakes try to modify, which is where things fall apart.
I am having a Halloween game marathon too. Everyday on October I will be playing a game that suits the occasion. Not all of them are horror based though. So far, I have already played Medievil and Slender. For the rest of the month, I will probably play Silent Hill 2-4, Haunting Ground, Medievil 2, Clock Tower 3, Illbleed, Maximo 1-2, LOZ: Majora's Mask, Luigi's Mansion, Soul Reaver 1-3, Castlevania, the Spooky part of Conker's Bad Fur Day, etc. And I will be sure to turn off all the lights.
I'm gonna try out Resident Evil 6. My brother got it yesterday and it looks pretty sweet. It also came with these nifty little stickers exclusive to walmart. The only downside was they plastered the walmart name twice in big boxes on the case art -_-
Will be Hitting up Doom 3(PC, Linux) not sure if that counts, and will revisit resident evil and deep fear on the saturn, maybe hit up Deadspace 1 and 2 on the PC
Just completed Leon's Campaign on Resident Evil 6.... purely epic, starting Chris's tomorrow.... I find it sad the "fans" who will miss out on a great game....
K I already did. I am stuck in the start of the game lol. I I am not use to the controlls. I know as soon as I do that then the resident evil games will be good.
I would be playing resident evil 1,2,3,4,5,6 and code Veronica X. Clock tower 2 also fatal frame 1,2, and last but not least silent hill 2 my favorite but resident evil is best of all survival horror games especially code Veronica and the remake of resident evil 1 hey alpha omega sin what is your FAVORITE survival horror game series
I'll be playing House of the Dead 3 & 4, and Overkill on PS3. I'd highly recommend the 2010 Splatterhouse for some awesome horror themed beat em up action.
I'm not sure which horror games, if any, I will be playing this month. If October and Halloween was between July and August, I'd be playing the hell out of them. There are several games coming out that I plan to get this month: XCOM, Dishonored, Medal of Honor, and Assassin's Creed 3. Most of my time will be spent on those. If I have time though, I might try and finish Dead Island. I also have a lot of the games you mention. Maybe I'll play some PS2 after all.
I will be playing Realms of the Haunting. Its one of the best FMV horror games I have played to date. Its a blend of fps and point & click which really surprised me when i first played it. Also the story is excellent.
i will be playing through both bioshock 1&2 and F.3.A.R , the ring terror's realm (dreamcast), jurassic park the game (Xbox 360), doom3 (xbox), silent hill downpour (xbox 360), and pretty much all the resident evil games
The games I will be playing (Horror related) will be Ao Oni, Ib, Luigi's Mansion, Resident Evil 0, Halloween Event in Animal Crossing City Folk? And..hm..the rest I'm gonna have to check! :U Happy October!
Not survival horror, but I'll be playing GBA emulator Castlevania. I've beaten Aria of Sorrow and Circle of the Moon before, but even after 3 tries I still always get lost in the Harmony of Dissonance castle.
I'm playing Dark Souls..Not sure if it's really classified as a horror but I myself could classify it as one..On my first play through right now..Never even played Demon Souls.
I really want to finish up Vampire the Masquerade. Also want to play through Silent Hill 2 and for nostalgia I wanna play through resident evil 2 So many great horror theme stuff, hopefully I can find some more games.
I'm wrapping up the first Dino Crisis and then it's going to be Condemned: Criminal Origins, but I'm usually playing horror games all year round anyway.
I'm playing BioHazard 2 2006 edition for the PC. I'm also playing the original Silent Hill on an emulator (the game looks quite good in 1080p widescreen) and Dead Space. Waiting for Lucius release on Steam as well.
Silent Hill? I remember renting it and the running being really laggy and I just gave up for a while then went back to it when there was a patch and it was fine.. Everything about it seemed fine enough to me apart from in game graphics looking nicer than the pre rendered cutscenes heh.
i'll most likely get back to Corpse Party for psp. i've had it since it came out, and never finished it. every time i hear the opening theme to it, it gets me in the mood to play that one 'creepy' song from Project Diva Extend lol
Lol I like resident evil but at the moment I am not doing so well. I am started to get use to the controls. The farthest I got is to the gun shop before dieing
Hey Alpha! You forgot to mention the Siren series and Rule of Rose! I'm going to play Rule of Rose for the PS2 :) Those little creepy kids give me the shivers...
I have never played any Silent Hill games, so I am on the Room currently, then will go to Homecoming. Eventually the HD collection as well =) Plus Jacob's Ladder on Blu-Ray just got purchased, great flick!
You see, I've played the originals and the hd collection and I found it to be a okay port. The only problem I had was with it being too dark in certain areas of silent hill 2. Maybe I just missed something or? and i never played with the new voices on the second game, only the third and they were pretty decent.
Forgot to mention I wanna do a 2 player run through on Zombies Ate my Neighbors on SNES in addition to everything else. Seriously it's funner than all hell
Definitely one of the best on PS1, especially for horror and rpg fans alike.
Funny fatal frame 3 is also called project 3
8:05 on the new one for the 3Ds its called the camro obskira
If i can get my hands on it, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem!
I started playing resident evil remake. Alpha you single handily got me interest into playing the resident evil games

Just beat Leon's story last night on Resident Evil 6. Just started Jake's story. It is an amazing game and it is a step up from Resident Evil 5.
Also, I bought a special edition of RE6. It has all the RE games from RE 1: Directors Cut to RE 5: Gold Edition. So for this month of October I'll be playing Residnet Evil games!
The call of cthulu:Dark corners of the earth is an underappreciated game that any survival horror fan should take notice of.
Alpha, the ghost buster camera is called the camera obscurer.
The Silent Hill piano puzzle is legendary, easily in the top 10 puzzles of all time. would like to see you do a video for your top 10 puzzles in video games Mr OmegaSin
I plan on playing through Castlevania trilogy on the NES along and watching the classic monster films.
Well I'll take your word for it, but since I have a ps2 and a ps1 I plan to just play all the originals as opposed to the remakes.
Ty, I lost my copies of Silent Hill 2 and 3 a while back, was planning on getting the HD versions.
bought a special reproduction translation cart of Sweet Home gonna be playing that all through October along with the Silent Hill, Fatal Frame, and Resident Evil 1-4.

Resident Evil 0 is hands down my favorite RE game. I still need to track down the remake of the first one to play through.
a random question alpha but since the game in question has a "darker theme" or at least try's to have one. What do you think of shadow madness? I have an idea :/ I mean the game is severely broken among many things wrong with it. However I cant help but find a fondness for it. I picked it up in mint condition for under 20 bucks.

i want to finally get my hands on resident evil 1,2,and 3 and beat them this month,i really hope i can find them
Just wondering have you ever been to a Half-Price books store? They have used video games, I just picked up Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem from there last week, gonna be playing that this month
LMAO hearing you give your opinion on the HD version in this video is hilarious after I heard you say you were looking forward to it in an older video haha
all the resident evil games, dead space 1&2, all Doom games, silent hill HD collection, and condemned 2
Man u are seriously a full on gamer, look at that vast collection behind u there! Any thoughts on the wii u and everyone slating it for the unrealised consoles? Should have my wii u tomorrow

I thought I'd play all classic Resident Evils, Medievil 1 and 2, which have a little different type of Halloween feel to them, and maybe Dead Space too. My ultimate goal however is to play Haunting Ground through for the very first time.
Doom 3 BFG Edition...October 16th, I'll definitely be playing that along with Dead Space.
Gonna buy the Silent Hill HD collection only played Silent Hill 1 and Shattered Memories loved both to death.
Hey alpha, can you recommend any PS2 or Xbox (original) games? horror, action, anything really, looking to build a nice collection, thanks :)
I'll most likely be powering through Fatal Frame 1-3. Silent Hill 3, Eternal Darkness and The Calling(Picked that one up after you mentioned it)
Yes! He mentioned Rule of Roses :D !!!
Now i know for a fact, Alpha is a legit gamer!!!
Zombie Revenge is a great game. I love the special moves. Nostalgia
Hell yeah! Horror month is back and now its time to get my scare on! I plan to start off with Dino Crisis 1 and 2, Catherine, Dead Space 1 and 2, and Amnesia! those are what I have planed so far now let the scream begin!!!
Dead Space and Zombi-U are the horror games I'm interested, it's been quite sometime since I considered games like Resident Evil games horror titles.
I will probably play through the Condemned games again. I know Bloodshot jumped the shark but I wish Monolith would return to this series and give us another game.
Siren and Silent hill origins are good games totally recommend theses two
Oh damn for sure now that you reminded me, along with "Ghost" from Sweden. Great traditional/heavy metal band.
REmake is an actual remake though, with very little exception, all it is is a graphical overhaul.
Most remakes try to modify, which is where things fall apart.
I am having a Halloween game marathon too. Everyday on October I will be playing a game that suits the occasion. Not all of them are horror based though. I playing Siren: Blood Curse, the STALKER trilogy, the Condemned trilogy, and classics like Silent Hill, Clock Tower, and Nightmare Creatures.

Clock tower 2 also fatal frame 1,2, and last but not least silent hill 2 my favorite but resident evil is best of all survival horror games especially code Veronica and the remake of resident evil 1 hey alpha omega sin what is your FAVORITE survival horror game series
I'm probably going to get Amnesia some time this month and play through that game.
I'm currently playing RE 6, but I'm also considering giving RE 2 a playthrough. Parasite Eve would be a good game to give a shot as well.
I didn't have any problems with the HD versions but I do know some people that got copies that were defective an had those issues.
I'll be playing House of the Dead 3 & 4, and Overkill on PS3. I'd highly recommend the 2010 Splatterhouse for some awesome horror themed beat em up action.
Also, forgot to say I'll be listening to death/black metal mostly, along with "Helloween" of course.
I'm not sure which horror games, if any, I will be playing this month. If October and Halloween was between July and August, I'd be playing the hell out of them. If I have time though, I might try and finish Dead Island. I also have a lot of the games you mention. Maybe I'll play some PS2 after all.
I'm getting it, I still make Doom videos now. In fact I am doing a LP of Resurrection Of Evil
Playing Doom 3 such a good game. Also can't wait for the Doom 3 BFG Edition this month.
I will be playing Realms of the Haunting. Its one of the best FMV horror games I have played to date. Its a blend of fps and point & click which really surprised me when i first played it. Also the story is excellent.

Not really a horror game but I'm definitely playing Costume Quest again!
I will play System Shock 2 as my main game for this month. I will also play the Doom series and Silent Hill 2.
The games I will be playing (Horror related) will be Ao Oni, Ib, Luigi's Mansion, Resident Evil 0, Halloween Event in Animal Crossing City Folk? And..hm..the rest I'm gonna have to check! :U Happy October!
have you ever played Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth? Probably one of the scariest games I've played
For games, I plan on Platinuming Silent Hill Downpour. And re-watching Saws 1-7.
Even though it's not considered to be one but the sequel is, I am playing and doing an LP of Bioshock
dude thank u for mentioning clock tower ! that game is so good and scary yet it's so underrated and most ppl never heard of it -.-
I might also try Dead Space 2 eventually...played the first and adored it.
Countdown Vampires is awesome. Im re-playing it again.
Dead Space 2, Silent Hill (Origins-PSP, Downpour-PS3, and BoM-Vita) and of course Alone in the Dark on Dreamcast.
Not survival horror, but I'll be playing GBA emulator Castlevania. I've beaten Aria of Sorrow and Circle of the Moon before, but even after 3 tries I still always get lost in the Harmony of Dissonance castle.
Still waiting to see if RE6 can qualify as horror; if not, I'm going mostly TT2 and RPGs this month.
I'm playing Dark Souls..Not sure if it's really classified as a horror but I myself could classify it as one..On my first play through right now..Never even played Demon Souls.
I really want to finish up Vampire the Masquerade. Also want to play through Silent Hill 2 and for nostalgia I wanna play through resident evil 2
So many great horror theme stuff, hopefully I can find some more games.
I'm wrapping up the first Dino Crisis and then it's going to be Condemned: Criminal Origins, but I'm usually playing horror games all year round anyway.
what's the best game that you've played then?
I'm playing BioHazard 2 2006 edition for the PC. I'm also playing the original Silent Hill on an emulator (the game looks quite good in 1080p widescreen) and Dead Space.
Waiting for Lucius release on Steam as well.
I need to finish Dead Space, Eternal Darkness, and Rule of Rose.

Hey I did not own either prior so it just made sense to buy both on one disk. What's the bad rep on that compilation anyways????
hmmm I'm going to say the Resident Evil titles on the Gamecube. 0 and 1 were awesome imo. Maybe some D2 as well?
Resident Evil 1,2,3, Condemned 2: Bloodshot (ps3), Haunting Ground. Silent Hill 1, Dead Space. Maybe more depending if I can beat all these....
i'll most likely get back to Corpse Party for psp. i've had it since it came out, and never finished it. every time i hear the opening theme to it, it gets me in the mood to play that one 'creepy' song from Project Diva Extend lol
Lol I like resident evil but at the moment I am not doing so well. I am started to get use to the controls. The farthest I got is to the gun shop before dieing
oh my god, Zombie revenge just sent me back in fucking time to a rental of fucking awesomness. I thank you for reminding me of the name of that game
@AlphaOmegaSin I will be playing Dead Rising 2 and Dead Island
Hey Alpha! You forgot to mention the Siren series and Rule of Rose! I'm going to play Rule of Rose for the PS2 :) Those little creepy kids give me the shivers...
I've been playing RE6 for the past 4 hours now and it's good. It's not the best game of the series but i still found it enjoyable.
You know Resident Evil 6 is out when do you plan on getting your copy ?
I have never played any Silent Hill games, so I am on the Room currently, then will go to Homecoming. Eventually the HD collection as well =) Plus Jacob's Ladder on Blu-Ray just got purchased, great flick!
Dont have a GameCube. Dont wanna dig out the Wii. Ive seen the comparison though, the GC version looks so much better!
You see, I've played the originals and the hd collection and I found it to be a okay port. The only problem I had was with it being too dark in certain areas of silent hill 2. Maybe I just missed something or? and i never played with the new voices on the second game, only the third and they were pretty decent.
You kill ghosts with cameras? Is it the ghost of Princess Diana?
