So very cool. I talk to Greg every once in a blue moon. He wouldn't remember me from any other face in the crowd, but I've talked to him at Aquascape and a couple of different Aquashellas here in Chicago, and he's always been super cool.
I've kind of got the same mindset, though I got there using a different path. I've never had a near death event like you did. That's not to say I haven't been near death with some of the dumb things I've done in my youth. They just happened too fast for me to dwell on. However, when my youngest son passed away suddenly a few years ago, I was left to navigate the waters of despair and depression, trying not to drown in the 100 foot waves that kept crashing down on me. I won't lie. There were times when I almost gave in to the pull to be with him. I wasn't gifted the opportunity to hear council from loved ones who had passed on, but my responsibilities to my daughters and my oldest son, not to mention my wife and father. So I resolved to fight to stay, and while I'll never really be "okay" ever again, I'm in a position where I don't want to let Mr. Death come calling just yet.

Great to have been able to see one of the 'live' posts as I used to enjoy as a member. Sadly my personal situation changed a little while back and at this time, I can not give the extra support. However always in my thoughts and I look forward to watching each and every upload. Cheers to you Kenan, Tom and families from Australia.

Whatever you wanna call it. The Almighty decided you still had work left in this world. He left it up to you whether to give in or live. Even if it wasn't his voice. The voices you heard are what you needed.
Incredible story Kenan, glad your still around, you show people it's important to keep moving, stay active, be persistent, do what you love, love those closest to you. Life can always change in an instant

Belated Happy Birthday Kenan, so glad to hear you’re on the mend. I hope doing some gentle passive cycling will help to ease your muscles back in. I’m so glad you are back doing what you love with biking, completely agree with how you trained. Thank goodness that you did as you’ve been able to still be able to enjoy it without having so many injuries that has taken away the sport for so many riders. Thank you for speaking so honestly about your life, i also follow the never give up belief. Life is for living and loving. Sending gentle belated birthday hugs 🤗🐢🦎🐊🤗

    Dominical is my town. 💞
My dear friend Josh owns a restaurant there and I helped throw a festival with him and many others called Envision Festival, for many years.
Used to go there before the highway ever reached it.

I really enjoyed this. I understand about advice from another realm. I've had a few of those, when I was doing things that I shouldn't have, and much younger! I'm 67 years old now!

I totally missed this live which is a bummer but I’ve had a few moments in my life where I was face to face with death but I think my worst experience physically and mentally was when I got my hand crushed in a loader 7 years ago and anyone that knows me knows that losing my ability to work with my hands is like dying to me . Being in bed and trying to healing and doing physical therapy to learn how to use my hand again for almost 2 years is when I found your videos and your videos have inspired me to chase my dreams of raising, breeding, and educating people about animals . I’m not really one to comment I sit back quietly and watch ur videos but I’d like to thank you for inspiring me when I was at my lowest and your videos breathed life back into a passion for nature and animals I thought others burned out of me and pushed me away from. I even started making shorts on my own channel showing my animals because of the inspiration I got from u and a lot from Jerry’s channel .I’m one voice in a sea of voices in your comments but I just wanted to share my story and appreciation for u and what u do and thank you for being my inspiration to not give up in one of the darkest times in my life. I hope someday I can inspire someone like you inspired me and pay it forward . Kenan thank you for everything ur doing and for posting these videos without them I don’t know where I’d be today so again thank you brother ! 👽🤙

Hearing your story means the world to us Mr. Clark. We know what it's like when we need to rebuild ourselves so to speak. The journey is hard, not just physically, but making it through and coming out the other side is something special. You are a stronger person because of it. Never forget that. Clearly you won't, as your story and your message is one of inspiration for us and those whose lives you will touch in the future.

@@KampKenanArmy thank you so much for taking the time out to comment back kenan ! I hope someday I can come down to Florida and meet both you and Jerry and learn move from the both of you .being a born and raised Bostonian we northern boys are just build tough as you know . I hope I can inspire people to love and protect nature up north like you and Jerry Wolfe do down in Florida . I know when someone sees Sammy (my adult sulcata tortoise ) that they find a love for animals and nature . I’ve become the “animal” guy in my neighborhood like you have in yours . Not to ramble on but I appreciate both u and Jerry Wolfe so much I hope I can learn more and inspire and pass on my knowledge and love for these animal .i may not be big in the animal world right now like u and Jerry but I can be loud enough to make a ripple in my community and my small channel to pass on your inspiration and love for these animals we both have .so thank you again kenan for everything and taking the time to comment back ! 👽🤙

For you cannon next time that happens and you're a riptide swim parallel to the coast So you can get out of the riptide then once you're out of it then you can swim back fine you can swim back in sounds like you two got caught in the rip current and you're getting pushed out while you're trying to swim back in and you're making no progress forward back to the beach the only thing you guys can do is just go with the flow and go against not against the tide but you want to go parallel to it parallel to the shore that's the fastest way to get out of a riptide and once you're out of it then you can float and swim back in slowly and carefully back into the to the shore But you gotta get out of the riptide first otherwise it's gonna keep taking you out further out further out further out all it is is just a sense of knowing what's happening realizing it's a riptide and then going 90 degrees to the riptide if you want to go parallel to the beach you may still get pushed outwards a little bit but eventually you will get out of it and it's easy to go with it in parallel to the beach that it is to try and keep going straight in because you can't do it there's too much flow there there's too much push against you so now you know what to do next time that happens it's just let it take you out a little bit but go parallel to the beach So it doesn't matter if it's on your right or your left keep the shore on that side of you and just keep moving that direction and eventually you'll get out of the riptide and you can then rest up and get back to shore. And I hope you never have to put that to use but at least now you know what to do
