With all due respect, I am surprised that Dunlop haven't asked for this video to be taken down. I does not do their products justice or the reputation of Andertons for that matter.

I just bought the Conspiracy Theory, and I can assure you, it sounds great, despite the horrible audio on this video.

Everyone knows this guy makes good stuff, something went wrong with the audio here, not sure why Andertons doesn't just explain it with a comment?
They need to get the EVH pedals in mini form - would love the EVH chorus but it’s so expensive and huge, a mini version would be awesome!
The little moments of room mic sound soo much better than the direct sound from the Waza. Did you forget to turn on the IR or something?
everyone seem to agree on 2things...1.we all love mxr and way huge.... and 2. we all dislike the sound of this video

Something's wrong here. My guess is it's the boss expander or maybe mic positioning on the cab.

Is this a reupload? Sounds like they did some editing with the post production sound to try and make it sound better after all the comments bashing the tone on the original edit. Prob cut all that wooly bottom and fizzy highs that made everything sound like a bad fuzz.. all the pedals still sound off though..
The sound in the first didn’t sound right. Everything sounded way too fuzzy. Not sure if that’s the reason they’ve uploaded again.
I think they need to remix the audio on this one.

Jeorge Tripps seems like a good dude! Audio in this one is very weird on the close mics with the amp.
I had to stop about a third of the way through. Everything sounded like a can of bees. It’s not a demonstration of the Laney amp, Boss Tube Expander, or any of the pedals. 🤮

I´m in the percentage of players that thinks these pedals must be broken. The volume on this video was very low, .......thank goodness!
Chris Jeneson the mini fuzz I bought definitely was broken. And returned. It’s not here but it got thru QC.
@Chris Jensen I'd have thought you (and me) are in the *large* percentage of folk who think that something is broken. I saw and commented on the original video and I was surprised that they re-posted it

Sound does seem improved this time around - thanks if you went back and edited it, I've been keeping eyes on the Way Huge stuff. Jeorge seems like a great guy and puts out brilliant pedals - got to be worth doing them justice.
@@Utube-g3g not great, I admit. Much better than the first time they put it out... I guess my point is that I repsect them for going back to try and fix it, rather than it sounded great.
@@Utube-g3g I just mean that although this doesn't sound great, at least they've listened to the feedback and tried to improve it. The first time this came out sounded worse to me.
I do agree it still doesn't sound that good. I'm really not convinced that these 'tube expander' things are that great. Just crank the amp and mic it up well.
Whatever was done to fix this video from the last upload has not worked I’m afraid gents... the pedals are much better than this video suggests, it’s doing them a huge disservice
Does it sound like they're recording via cab IRs but haven't turned the cab IR on? Because the tiny bits of room sound when the vocal mic picks it up don't sound too bad
Yes, a re-upload. The previous video had too many negative comments, many about the Laney amp, and the weird overall fuzz effect.
Do Anderton's do this often with videos that aren't well received?
Audio is constantly clipping! Re-record or just take it down.

What about a DSP based pedal with an Adaptive Noise Filter to remove the 50/60HZ mains hum.

You don't. It is the great marketing con. If you already have a pedal that does similar, then adjusting the controls on your guitar/amp will give you the same results.
I seem to recall Lee saying at the end of 2018 that he had had it up to here with JAFODs and wasn't going to spend more video time on them. And here we are in OD land once again; in fact, I'm not sure we ever left it . Personally, I'm getting OD'ed on listening to ODs.
Something sounds like crap. Either the level on the amp mic is clipping or MXR pedals have gone down the toilet.

The supa lead sound close to the red llama (I own both and tryed them side to side), I suspect this is a moded version (more gain).

Are they playing through a 1” speaker? If those pedals sound like that in real life, then RIP Way Huge.
Cant tell if these pedals specifically sound like ass, or if they chose the wrong amp or what. In tripps defense, the saucy box never leaves my pedalboard. Its my smooth overdrive, the most "amp-like" that I ve played and it sounds amazing through my AC15, tames the high end when I m using bridge pickups
The room mic sounds great would love to hear it instead

Oof, still sounds terrible lads sorry. Audio production on this channel has always been the weakest aspect of it, which is a shame, because it's definitely the most entertaining of the music retailer channels imo, and the reason I'm still subbed. If I want to hear good production I go to That Pedal Show, Pete Thorn, Shawn Tubbs, even Rabea's own channel is way better sounding than here.

The Supa-Lead may be the only pedal on the market that properly emulates a cranked Plexi. Rattling Greenback cones being driven too hard, creating crackling square waves. Extreme squish and spongey tube Compression almost emulating a Germanium transistor fuzz. Very nerdy and specific pedal. It could probably achieve spot on Live tones of old Hendrix and ZZ-Top shows.
Expect better audio and mic job for this to be even helpful. Everything sounded terrible in this video and I know these are good pedals.

I like the video sounds and all. It’s free content from cool guys who know things and can play. Not a Prince studio album? Besides with TH-cam and iPad or phone speakers everything sounds...Production values top notch to me. But I never minded when it was just a camera or GoPro so...

I way prefer bigger pedals. I don't like the big muff, but it's so freaking cool aesthetically. Just this big metal box of MUFF. I wish more pedals were like that.
Speaking as a blues guitarist who likes a natural drive tone, it warms my heart to see how many other viewers dislike fuzz, especially these awful pedals (or just the way they have been recorded here). This may be the only Captain-led video that I've disliked. Lets have Chappers revisit the pedals with him.

I had to scroll down and see the comments to see if it was just me, but no. There is definitely something wrong here. Everything just sounds fuzzy and collapsed. Shame, Jeorge is the man and I'm a huge MXR fanboy :(
This video sounds ok but there's something wrong somewhere as these pedals do sound great in other vids....they sort of sound a little fizzy to my ears....sure those mics on the amps are not clipping those pedals to sound fizzy

Everyone that knows anything about Dunlop or pedals in general, should know who Jeorge Tripps is, one of the true greats out there, I think. But in this video, something maybe went wrong somewhere? If not, these pedals are maybe just not so good. Can't always please everyone, ofcourse. Many good MXR drive pedals already, but something is just off here, to me atleast... Maybe the mic's got knocked or something. But you can feel it on Lee, too. He thinks they are all too fuzzy and narly, so it's not the mic. He just wanna be kind and positive, I think. So he pretends to like them, haha. But Jeorge is a legend, no matter what happened to this disaster. And yes, I watched both videos, the one last week, AND this one (which i believe is a reloaded video)

The sound is all messed up here. Guitar volumes are really low and crapped out.

The tones sound bad and farty because they're plugged directly into the bright channel of that Laney amp. On a 4-input style amp, that's a huge no-no and makes any dirt pedal going into it sound like you have a torn speaker. At the very least, they need jumper both channels together with a short patch cable, or better yet, just plug directly into the 'normal' channel and EQ it properly.

Yeah some of the parts don't sound great at all. You can tell when the sound comes back into the mics that you aren't hearing what you're meant to.

Horrible sound on this video. On the brief moments when the room/vocal mic kicked in it sounded loads better, but whatever you used to record the amp with made every one of those pedals sound like a wasp in a jam jar.
Better than last time but pedals still sound awful. Think it needs redoing from er, scratch :p
