    Hi Siemens,
im designer working on industrials racking consisting over 95k compoents in my assembly, does NX support this large assembly. i used almost reducing the level of detailing and LDR mode as well. what is best way to tackle such situation

the best way is to use reference sets. in each part you define a reference set like SIMPLE which only would show a very rundimentary object like a block. you can even have nx load your large assembly and tell it to show your defined reference sets

Is there a way to insert holes into the feature

It seems nx can’t group members with same type and length in parts list, it has problem with “qty”. Each member one row!!!
If you have 1000 members you get 1000 rows in parts list

It can group by length if made key column but it will group different bodies as similar. for example same length but with hole or different cutting angle.
If anyone here can tell us how to get accurate cut list from that structure designer, please reply

@@Mahmoud-Saeed- You are right, NX Part List groups items based on what you define as "Key Column". You can define multiple Key Columns to group it as you like, for example Member Type and Length in this case.

Yes, you can group members if you use the consolidation function.

Why it makes a part file for each tube in one structure, i though it will be like weldments in solidworks i work a lot with weldments and it's a little bit annoying to have 100 part files for one assembly

@Paul Bevan @paulbevan1940 how is this done? i am running NX build 2007, and multiple tubes still count as separate part files
