Sewing tips for scarves are so beautiful
Thank you for showing how to sew with pins in, that’s so rare in TH-cam tutorials, I was breaking so many needles and I looked for a simple presentation like this everywhere.
The prob is the placement. It should be in horizontally not vertically. Also you only need to pin enough to hold. To many of these people over kill. Pinning it right and your needle will sew through it. Also can remove as you sew.
It's all in knowing the construction. Thanks for showing all the steps! This would appear to be a very versatile and useful garment.

I’m thinking you could use recycled old sweater or flannel shirts to make this as well.. that would look great with my winter coat… warm & cozy for going on winter walks! Thanks for your ideas!

I made a bunch of hoodies like this with a few Victoria's Secret sweaters I never wear and my husband's flannels shirts that been in our closet for years. They came out amazing, so warm and beautiful!! I just traced a couple different size hoods from old coats and used grocery store brown bags to use for the pattern paper. Definitely make a bunch with fabrics or clothing you have!! Its beautiful taking something old and giving it a new useable life💗

I hope she made an eyeglass case with the leftover fabric. Nice warm headwear for winter! Nicely made, and reversible.
..you could feed a drawstring cord into that area margin sewn around the head .... that way the hood could be even more adjustable ..... just pull the strings .... and it could tighten up around the head face area to keep out the wind and cold better ........

Put a tie in the front and possibly all around the circumference of the frame of the face for cold winds. Also, keeps it weighted from strangling the front neck when its off the head.

It looks so soft and cozy! I would like to put a cord around the face to close it, as it is very windy and cold here and the hood doesn't look like it would be warm enough.

Followed along until about 3/4 of the way through. Couldn't see where to sew and where not to. But I've never made anything, so not surprising that I would be confused. Maybe if I watch it several more times I'll get it. But I don't have a sewing machine, so not likely to be making this anyway. Does look like it would be a nice Christmas gift.

I made one followed your tutorial, it was very easy, even if by hand. I made the opening smaller so it can cover more of my face, I also use silk for the inner layer so that it would feel nice on my skin and hair. Thanks alot😇

C’est joli mais c’est pas assez serré au cou je trouve. Quand on habite au Québec on a besoin de choses très ajustées pour être bien chaudes
