I use to work up in Alaska and the area where I lived had twenty four hour seasons for halibut. So imagine getting ready to fish for weeks on end and having to stay awake for an entire day maybe a little nap. They used to cut up bait ahead of time and take it out of barrels to put on giant circle hooks. Sometimes people would get caught on the hooks and go overboard impaled on them. This is where I learned about circle hooks. Maybe ten years later is when I first saw them in magazines.
Thanks for your service stan ❤ shout out to moving weight fishing adam is the man and last but not least vic thanks for all the hard work you have been doing all these years ❤ all the editing hrs to provide us such great content ,i appreciate all of your hard work making it happen for us on the couch 💪👊
you two hold the bar high for youtube, and fishing, in general. keep up the great work. respect and blessings. Aaron Rincón PR Insurgent Cuisine Fishing
In the 70's and 80's you could keep 5 per person. For recreational fishing it don't pay to go 40 to 50 miles and only catch 2, its the same for snapper also in Texas.
Now I dont know the full story, but from what I saw in the video that one boat deserved a beat down for coming so close. Vick I commend you for not going full TH-camr on that guy, because he would have been my thumbnail with Karen gets his ass kicked in the title. 😂
Another Epic Video Vic. Gonna try that Marinade on Some Yellowfin and Flounder today. Don't know why I didn't think of that because its al lil my favorite ingredients. Thank you for your Service Stan ! We wouldn't be out doing what we do if it wasn't for you. GOD BLESS AND LOVE FROM Crabby Daddy here in Southern Maryland
Great looking fish and steak Vic !! Man... some ppl dont have any respect or boundaries for other fishermen. That guy had the whole ocean and comes 10 ft from yalls lines. (How much line ya think it would take to wrap that Suzuki up???) Lol .... Great work guys thanks again. God bless yall and god bless everyone else.
Hey Vic! Still waiting for you and brook to come out to Long Island and slam some flukes and porgy! Anyways- keep up the phenomenal work. I follow you two on all platforms and refer you two to everybody I know that enjoys fishing. You two have changed my life and I always look forward to the “Hey guys, Victor here.” Hope to meet you two one day and have a drink.
Great meal, Vik! At first I was thinking the tostones wouldn't come out well since it seemed like you cut the plantains way big, but somehow you made it work.
Awesome video, I am one of the weirdos like Stanley. I do not like to taste of seafood, but I love to fish. So I take all the fish I that I catch and make it for my family.
Hey Vic the greener the plantain the more ideal for tostones. Fry to warm the chunks & get a little color, pull out the fire, let sit, then press...back in the fire till toasty / golden (Not Burnt) If you don't have the wooden press use a paper towel & the bottom of a 8oz container tumble (Not Your Meat Beater) Publix has the press. Next time you kill a Kinng do an Escaveche in a shallow clay pot.
Hi Vic. Appreciate seeing the commercial side. Would you see if you can tag along with a live bait fisherman and do a day in the life of? Interested in seeing when they head out, what they go through to catch bait, to finally selling to fishman. Thank you.
Love it when team up with Adam y'all some great fisherman also Adam did y'all here anything from twin vee on the boat breaking and I'm sure it's getting fixed asap I was just wondering thanks for the great video
those tostones were borderline maduros.. normally its greener and less sweet but its really up to the cheff as both ways are great.. maybe next time combo green and borderline yellow for taste test.
@@LandsharkOutdoors doing circles and pulling rigs is my guess BUT......if a majority are free lining live bait like it appears everyone is and one rogue captain decides to pull, you run into this problem.....have them up here out of the port......no matter how far you stay away they always seem to end up right next to you and start talking crap. Funny how when you approach them at the dock their attitude changes and they suddenly become nice and appologize.
Nice day on the water... I could imagine some area charter capt's dont like the Commercial Guys...It's not always that easy to catch a Big King in Florida waters...
Viktor Love all your videos, by your recomendation I took 2 of my sons out with fin fetish last yeat we had a great time and will do it again. Thanks for being you.
I just realized that whatever fishery is processing these kingfish is also going to get a lot of sardines lol makes me wonder how many canned sardines I've bought that were originally bait fish.
What was up with the dude buzzing you guys? I know thats another commercial guy, Ive seen him out there before at the bait spot. I cant believe Adam didnt go off, I would have been "Casting" some lead in that direction, the heavier the better!
We do this many rod and real on charters dosent have to be comercial strait Out of Galveston don’t ever use 3 hooks all you need is one and you don’t need ribbenfish all you need is sardines or for trolling sail fish killers as lures with one hook the more hooks the more chance of getting a hook inpalled same way with Blue Marlin one hook most of the time the others are just dangling there now commercial snapper fishing we use 15 to 30 hooks on our Bandit’s but not Kingfish but to each its own have an epic blessed day
My famous recipe-and I’m sharing w you! eat the tostones w ceviche! They make mini bowl pressed tostones presses…. Once u cook in bowl form and add fresh ceviche to eat???!!! You’ll do it forever! Give me credit when u try it!!!!
I just watched the video from Panama with Dennis filming underwater and it has really elevated this channel to a whole other level. I can see more subs coming.
Big Dolphin, Wahoo and Kings get the first gaff shot available I could care less where I hit them just want them in the boat just like Vic said. Iam in the Keys and our average size has gone down drastically over the last ten years. KINGFISH AT 5.40???? WHAT??? I've never made over 3.50 and usually it's around 2.50. Talking about Muttons up high we catch them fairly often on the downrigger w/ seawitch and ballyhoo only set at 15ft over deep water so they surely feed high in the water column and we used to catch them often up on the flats bit for some reason we don't see that much anymore, you should come down and fish sometime Vic, come and catch a Cubera on a live Bonita daytime fishing
@@charlieduvall6463 i mean it seemed to me he did it on purpose. maybe he saw the cameras and got pissed? either way thats a good way to get me waiting for you at the ramp. Vic said in another comment the guy cut 3 of their lines... no sir. we're gonna talk about it bubba
I guess Adam cant be bothered to put out video anymore for his subscribers...Even though he's very busy paying off his 50k boat he should at least put out some kind of content for his followers. Thank you Landshark for putting it out for him
This video deserves way more likes hahaha it’s tacky but you gotta tell people to like it a lot of people who watch this are probably older outdoorsman that don’t even know how to like a video
I don’t know if you will see this…but if you do…I want to know what brand or where you got that neck scarf where it’s wider at the bottom to cover your neck and shoulders a little better lol

I’ve been watching his channel for a while and I just subscribed. Good luck Adam!
You guys are live baiters! Commercial guys are spoon, strip and bug. Respect!
Adam is built different.
Man is the slickest fisherman I've seen.
Some boaters have no respect. It’s absolutely crazy that people will go out of there way to not enjoy a day on the water peacefully.
What the fuck are you talking about
Dude in that blue boat was a jackass
Let that zuk eat all the braid yum yum yum 😋 😜

Great video with Adam. Been following him a long time. And bumping Rebelution along the way. Were gonna need that marinade recipe!
I was just out there fishing the same spot. It amazes me how many kings are in one area and how fast they replenish each day.

When cooking tostones don’t cut such thick slices & if you don’t have a platano smasher use the bottom of a cup backward to smash them
I haven’t seen this handsome fella, Adam, in a while! Glad to see the vid come across my alerts!
i went out of the port aransas jettys yesterday and caught a nice king on a live lady fish
wow, you remind me memories back home while fishing with my Dad.

Hey Vic big fan from SoCal. Keep up with the great videos and go get them. Let me know when you will be back in SoCal.
bro for the tostones. the best dip we use in my country. get ketchup mayo mix or mix it yourself. thank me later :D
im glad adam at least said something to the a hole. that was unreal. surprised yall didnt toss a bloody fish head at him
Right I keep a rod with just a float for guys like him. A prop full of braid sucks just saying.
Why did he pull up so close to guys reeling in fish? I wouldn't pull within a football field of another boat that's hooked up.

What size are the hooks you used in this video? Thanks for the videos really enjoy them.
If another boat kept driving by that close for no reason I would tie on my heaviest lure and try to hit their boat with it.
I would tie my heaviest weight and yank a hole into there boat and let they’re motor eat all me line
