Anna Jantar - a very famous singer. Unfortunately, she died in a plane crash in 1980 at the age of only 30. Her daughter, Natalia Kukulska, still sings today. She is also a very well-known singer. Some of her compositions are composed by her father, Jarosław Kukulski. Jarosław also created music with his wife Anna during her lifetime.
Dawid Podsiadło is indeed one of the most famous polish pop singers. You should react to his live performance 'Nieznajomy' from PGE Narodowy, Warsaw - its unbelieveble!!

Most of the songs on this list from 1990s and 2000s are also very well known. For instance of such bands as T. Love, Kult, Varius Manx, Hey, Edyta Bartosiewicz, O.N.A., Myslovitz, Kayah.
Dawid Podsiadło, Sanah and Sylwia Grzeszczak were, I would say 3 of the biggest names of the last decade. They've been absolutely everywhere for many years... Well, could be worse. Each of them has some cool songs in their repertoir.
The song "Siekiera, Motyka" from 1942 was, let's say, a not so subtle diss towards the Germans. It was sung by a street bands and popular in resistance circles. Originally, the Germans didn't understand it, which makes it quite funny (if you remember the sketch titled "Hitler" from the series "13 Posterunek," where Goering brings a message to Hitler, /Axe, hoe, hand saw, liquor/stupid painter lost the war/, he says "The children sing this on every courtyard"). Later, the song was banned by the Germans, but it was still played on underground radio and etc. And now the song has been slightly retouched to talk about Putin instead of Hitler. You should definitely react to it with lyrics! Edit: that's the only one I found, the lyrics arent on point but better than nothing: th-cam.com/video/p_uK5d6q5WI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=n-hbQ2l-GnkemgMV

Anna Jantar died in the crash of the Polish Airlines SP-LAA IŁ62M Mikołaj Kopernik on March 14, 1980, while returning from a concert tour for the Polish community in the United States. In my opinion, she was one of the best singers in Poland

Before the WW II there were many more songs that are well known even up till now among most of the Poles. But here were only some of them (for instance very well known artists and their songs were Hanka Ordonówna - here 1:07, Eugeniusz Bodo, arrested and murdered during the war by Soviets - 1:33 and 1:38; 2:19 is also a very well known song, from the occupation times, but there were more also many famous ones). So for this old period these are not all the best and the most popular songs, only some of them are. Much more accurate it is, this whole list, since the 1960s - with Kalina Jędrusik (being also an actress), and other artists from very old, but good, famous "the Elderly Gentlemen's Cabaret", later legendary Czesław Niemen, Czerwone Gitary (The Red Guitars, a very well known band of that times), and others - also very good and well known up till now. And in the 1970s - like e.g. Marek Grechuta, Anna Jantar, Maryla Rodowicz, Krzysztof Krawczyk, 2plus1, Bajm, and others. Songs from the 1980s are also very well known - Andrzej Rosiewicz, Jacek Kaczmarski - with his legendary song 9:16, being an anthem of anti-communist opposition in Poland, titled "Mury" ("The Walls"), Budka Suflera, Kombi, Lady Pank etc. Although the songs from the 1960s to 1980s are from time of my parents, their childhood and teenage years, but I also know most of them well. But again, the pieces are too short to get know any of these songs really.
Mieszkam za granicą już dlugo i wstyd się przyznać, ale nie znam żadnej piosenki Dawida Podsiadło, Darii Zawiałow i niektórych nie kojarzę. A widzę, że są popularni w Polsce.
Apparently, during Just 5's concerts, which took place in Gliwice, the Colloseum in Warsaw, Elbląg and Poznań, the group NSYNC with Justin Timberlake sang as support for the Polish band 😅

10:54 This artist name was Andrzej Zaucha (and he had more songs, not only this one). He was murdered in 1991 at the age of 42 - and the story of his death was like from some movie. After his wife died, as a widower he started a love affair with a married woman. And her husband Yves Goulais, a French film director living in Poland (his wife was a Polish theatre actress), because of jealousy, shot and killed both of them (he didn't actually want to kill the woman, but she was hit by a ricochet and also died). Later, the French who was the killer regretted much what he did (he was sentenced to 15 years of prison). The murderer for some more years was giving all the money he was earning (as he was still doing some works for TV, for instance for Canal+) to the daughter of Andrzej Zaucha who he murdered. After going out of prison, he changed his name and was (or even still is) working in the film industry, also doing various films and documents for the Polish TV.

Hello, if you look for good polish music you should for sure check more about these below, I think they are hugely underrepresented in these compilations. - [Rock/Pop, 80s/90s] Maanam ("Kocham Cię kochanie moje", "To tylko tango", "Krakowski Spleen", "O! Nie rób tyle hałasu", "Paranoja jest goła", "Simple Story" (English)) - [Rock, 2000+] Riverside ("The depth of self-delusion", "we got used to us", "river down below") - [Rock/Pop, 80s/90s] Republika ("Kombinat", "Republika marzeń", "Raz na milion lat", "Odchodząc") - [Rock/Pop, 80s/90s] Lombard ("Nasz Ostatni taniec", "O jeden dreszcz", "Droga Pani z TV") - [Pop, 90s/early 2000] Wilki ("N'Avoie", "Aborygen", "Jeden raz odwiedzamy świat", "Son of the blue sky" (English), "Here I am" (English) - this one was considered for Eurovision contest but we decided to send Ich Troje band) - [Pop/Rock, 80s] Dwa plus jeden ("Mały Wielki Człowiek", "Iść w stronę słońca", "Chodź, pomaluj mój świat") - [Pop, 90s] Elektryczne Gitary ("Człowiek z liściem na głowie", "Co ty tutaj robisz", "Dzieci wybiegły", "Dywizjon 303") - [Sung Poetry, 80s/90s] Marek Grechuta ("Nie dokazuj", "Dni, których nie znamy", "Dzikie wino") - [Metal, 2000s] Behemoth (Im not an expert in such music genre so I cannot recommend any song, but they are quite popular not only in Poland) - [Metal, 2000s] Percival Schuttenbach (as above, you may know them from The Witcher 3: WIld Hunt soundtrack) There is A LOT more bands/artists or just single songs to be recommended. When I was younger I was big fan of Myslovitz, Coma as well, however they were already represented a bit (however I think like many that those song pieces are just too short to even recognise if you like it or not). If you are curious what people in Poland was listening to across the decades there is the website of one of the most popular radio charts in Poland for decades: lp3.pl - it is pretty easy to navigate, even though it is in Polish. Have a great time and thank you for all of your films!
Yes, Dawid Podsiadło i sanah are the most famous artist right now in Poland. Please react Dawid live performances: Dawid Podsiadlo - W Dobrą Stronę (na żywo z PGE Narodowego, 28.09.2019) Dawid Podsiadło - Szarość i Róż (Chorzów, 25.06.2022) Dawid Podsiadlo - Nieznajomy (na żywo z PGE Narodowego, 28.09.2019) Dawid Podsiadło i Artur Rojek - Długość dźwięku samotności (Chorzów, 25.06.2022)
Most impressive song from Dawid Podsiadło is "Nieznajomy" recorded at his contert at National Stadium th-cam.com/video/BdJV_o2uEJ8/w-d-xo.html - He has a lot of cool songs but this one in this version is most 'nice to look at' :D

- [Metal, 2000s] Percival Schuttenbach (as above, you may know them from The Witcher 3: WIld Hunt soundtrack)
There is A LOT more bands/artists or just single songs to be recommended.

3 SEKUNDY NA 1 UTWÓR TO GŁUPOTA I PROFANACJA !
Nowadays Dawid Podsiadło and sanah are the only Polish artist who fill the stadiums in Poland.
Why you have this werid burned, grey filter on video?
I beg you not to watch either sanah or podsiadlo. thank you.
Most impressive song from Dawid Podsiadło is "Nieznajomy" recorded at his contert at National Stadium th-cam.com/video/BdJV_o2uEJ8/w-d-xo.html - He has a lot of cool songs but this one in this version is most 'nice to look at' :D
crap original video, clips cut before end of a line, and it should be like 30 seconds of each, or better clips
After 2011 it wasn't music anymore
I don't know why people get so excited about podsiadlo or sanah?
@@kikolandzikI liked some of the songs of Sanah - for instance those based on Polish poems, of various poets, like Szymborsk, Tuwim, Asnyk, Słowacki, Mickiewicz czy Baczyński. Also "Mamo tyś płakała" was good. But I don't rather like and don't listen to Podsiadło.
This is such a rancid, boomer take. Life must be insanely miserable with that attitude.
@@MayaTheDecemberGirl But did you then start reading the books?
@@kikolandzikbecause their music is an art 😊
