Pro tip, you can get the gamedac for the wireless version and it will work as good as with the rgb headset. Most games on console only support 48khz 5.1 Dolby digital+. Movies on the other hand, especially in UHD version are in 96khz, thats when the gamedac comes handy. So buy the arctis wirless pro and then get the gamedac for those pc/movie sessions. I own both and hear very little difference in sound between the gamedac and the wireless 48khz version and I'm a professional sound engineer.

Hopefully, Steel Series implements RGB lights and a larger battery in the wireless Arctis headphones for the next gen consoles. That would be so sick to have the headphones light up blue for the PS5, and then green when you alternate to Project Scarlett.
Love the features of convenience that the wireless model has to offer. These might just be my new headsets ^_^

Does the hi res audio on the wired headset work with PS4 gameing... no one seems to really know the answer to that question,, trust me iv looked everywhere
It works with the ps4 , you just have to switch to output all audio frim chat audio and switch to hi res in the dac
So how good is the mic quality??
Mental xo mic is phenomenal on the wireless (I have them) so I’d assume the wired would be good too. Gotten loads of compliments from the squad over it, coming from the A50’s which have a pretty lousy mic.

I’m having trouble connecting wirelessly to ps4. Its paired to the transmitter that’s plugged into the ps4 but when I go to audio devices for output and input both there’s no option for it

No gaming headset is worth $300. You can buy superior headsets like the hyper X clouds that are $100... don’t spend $300 on a gaming headset...
and A50s arent even that good dude. durability on them is trash. literally took care of them perfectly and the charging port broke twice. luckily i had a warranty the first time abut the second i was out of luck. also, the sound quality is just good, but not good enough for the price. the mic is just okay too. dont buy gaming headsets in general tbh. just get a pair of headphones and a stand-alone mic. it'll be around the same price or cheaper, and even better quality for both audio and mic quality.

If you customize settings on software, can you save them and use same settings on ps4 as using on computer? For example if you put bass to high, is it high on ps4?
I had the wired version and I love the sound but I need wireless because of my setup. Just waiting on bestbuy to get them back in stock. Been two weeks and they still “sold out” but the wired version is always there....why would the more expensive headset be sold out and not the less expensive one with better sound quality?? 🤔🤔

MemesMojo It is not fixed. It has not happened to me yet... I suggest you use a thin plastic screen protector. You dont see them but if it gets scratched it is not a problem.

Too pricey. Are they worth twice as much as the SteelSeries Arctis 7? Of course they aren't, I think even SteelSeries would have to admit that.
I had the Siberia p800 wireless after a year the battery’s stopped charging and steelseries customer service is non existent I emailed them and sent multiple tweets to there pages got no reply’s
Also if you live outside the US they don’t ship replacement batteries so if the battery’s fail your out of luck

Vincent Jerrard yeah when the gamedac is on the main volume page you just click it once and you can adjust game vs chat volume. Just like the astros but all in one button
