    The glue looked like a very nice piece of quartz!

    It is coming together well, that coffee pot looked fiddley, I'd be gluing my fingers together, I liked the piano painted!

    I turned the piano into 2 different shelves, as I'm adding more baked goods for more of a cafe than just a coffee shop.

      That's a great idea! I'm also planning on adding some food, but maybe just on the table or counter, haven't quite figured it out yet 😊

    Tysm for the vid! and as for the glue u can unscrew the whole lid and put a sheet of loose plastic and just screw it again so it wouldn't leak, if there is a garden in any of the projects ur making, the dried out glue would look like quartz rock in the garden with some more plants ,the whole thing would look pretty cool

    Goodness those bits are sooo tiny! 😲I don't think I'd be able to see them properly to put the little things together. 🤣 In my younger days I'd be good, but not now. You do such a beautiful job of putting these things together. 😊
    😏Because you asked... I prefer the natural sounds to music.

    Hello! New sub here! I've been a fan of all sorts of miniatures forever, but I have never created my own minis, or even used a kit. Honestly, I worry I'll start and never finish a project. Thank you for the "real-time" straightforward demonstration; you've given me a boost, and I think it's time to try it myself. I haven't gone through all your videos, but do you have any tips/suggestions for people just starting out? A list of your favourite tools and materials would be helpful; budget-friendly/enviro/recycled items would be an appreciated bonus :) Thank you, from Jo the Aussie in the USA.

      Hi Jo, thanks for subscribing! My advice would be to start small! Kits are alot of work. It's been a year and I still haven't finished mine 😂 I would start by making a small item of food or some furniture 1st and you could slowly build a scene around that piece if you wanted to. Or upcyle an existing piece of cheap furniture if building something from scratch is too daunting. I love collecting all sorts of things to turn into miniatures, I recommend keeping an eye out at second hand shops for beads etc. The beauty of making miniatures is that you can use just about anything! As far as supplies go, a good sharp craft knife and some Aleene's tacky glue are a must! Good luck! 😊💖

    I have to say I prefer regular background sounds as opposed to music

    As for sounds, I think if what you're doing creates a different sound, I'm all for natural. But if you're not really making sound, I'd rather listen to music than traffic. So I think a mix is good.

    The door to the cafe seems broken. Did it come loose, or was the kit just not cut well enough?

    • @miniatureaddictionclub
      @miniatureaddictionclub  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Good spotting! No, I made some adjustments to the door from the original kit and added my own hinges, the glue I used wasn't strong enough and one has just come unglued. 🙂

      @@miniatureaddictionclub oh ok, easy fix, thank goodness! I'm a fairly new subscriber so I haven't seen all the videos yet, like of you making the door, etc. I'll have to go back to the beginning and get caught up. Great channel btw!
