    It is beautiful to see such scientific innovation in such a niche subsection of society. No matter how great and fun it is.🍀

      Totally agree! The designer is a super nice guy too, love to see it.

    The idea that this can be dropped into existing boards, if they fit, is fantastic. Im normally not very interested in these sorts of things, because theyre kinda gimicky.. but this looks like it could be actually.. um. actually good :)

      Yeah, it seems to do its job really well. Pretty expensive to test out though. Definitely one of those things you would wanna try before spending the money

    Wow they improved a lot in one year, that's solid! Putting a lot of work testing the system and that's great! I'll be definitely getting one.

      I didn't actually get a chance to compare the new version to the ones from last year, but they had a pretty epic setup at esk8con, and seem to be designing for new boards!

      They are pretty awesome and the guy that makes them is an inspiring individual. They're now available on pre-order, but are quire pricey. The owner has worked with some of our local riders to produce content and from what I've seen they seem to be quite durable, and just might be worth the money if this is the specific thing that you're looking for.

    This is so cool I hope it catches on so the competition goes up and price goes down

      It is definitely a cool concept! I don't think anyone else has done something like it yet, only suspension I've seen is the type that's on the Z3 or on the propel boards.

    The fact that it offers more than just one feature is really good!

    Nice video, these are some of my Favorite ppl. The reason you might had bottom it out is because this one was set up for Dave's Wife Beth who is about 145 lbs. I believe this was her board. The final Product will be more refined with full adjustability aswell as the test units Coming Soon. Shore its not for everybody but they definitely got Something here.

      Thanks Don - Yah, I know, I think they were all set up for lower weights tbh. I'm excited for the final product later this summer.

    Damn. They are a bit pricey. But then what e skate premium accessory isn’t?
    But yeah. Would be lovely to pick up a set of these for $300.

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah - out the gate, they are quite high. Lots of high quality components and small volume will do that. I think we (SDESK8) may end up working with David a bit to get some excellent real-world testing done. My hope is they hold up to their price point.

  • @NilsnVan
    @NilsnVan ปีที่แล้ว +2

    im dissapointed. that independant suspension system will actually only make stability less predictable compared to a mountainboard config with mtb shock system. having independant wheel movement can also cause them to be natural and less responsive

    • @NilsnVan
      @NilsnVan ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Have you ever seen broken trucks yeah how about adding more moving parts to them

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You definitely make a valid point, especially with DKP trucks. Obviously, riding on a flat road or even going off curbs and stuff you probably won't notice too much, but maybe offroad you would experience some more instablity. I suppose it depends on how hard your bushings are as well.

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From time to time yeah, would be great if these were made compatible with Exway forged/cnc trucks, they seem to break less often than the cast ones. Still not perfect tho, maybe one day it'll be compatible with some other CNC TKP's or something like that. As for the more moving parts, yeah, we have yet to see, since these prototypes at esk8con were the only ones out there right now.

      @@NilsnVanyes and no individual suspension means that there will be less load on on the suspension… solid axle is double the load and random uneven pressures

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol by the new comments I can see that they have now released for preorder.. Checking now - wow! Yeah, they are quite pricey. It seems a bit high, but anyone with experience in manufacturing will know that these things cost a ton to make, and use a lot of quality components. Maybe one day, they will come down in price.

    • @alexcoli

      @@RBEMotion nah no time for delusional stuff look at the normal dkp trucks they got price vs other brands it's double it's not a lill there's no excuse considering I compare with brand dkp not alibaba for example so if u got money to throw ok but u can't say that delusional stuff here some ppl know the prices

    • @RBEMotion
      @RBEMotion  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alexcoli Delusional is a very strong word to use, and not really fair, as I am someone who is aware of how much small batches cost. If you don't want to buy it, then don't. It's a brand new, never before seen piece of tech for esk8s. With time, it may come down in price. Either way, it is still cool, and I am excited to see it getting tested.
