Great to see you all again, well done Liam and well done Faith 😂 gold in da hole Julie... I feel a bit old watching that vid...I hear the music and think it's little argie with more Hartley's finds...Jesus how time flys...I'm sure faith will have her first stater or potin 😂🎉🎉 soon
Thanks Bertie!! Liam was 11 or 12 when he started the channel, time goes by so fast!! Faith is happier as a fair weather detectorist like myself lol. Id love for Faith to find some ancient things! She's already hooked! X
Just come across your channel for the fire time. Some fantastic finds in this video, in particular the Denarius... that cleaned up lovely! Congrats! - Jake
classed as the plastic wild type.the classics have a more muscle horse.nice find worth around 1500 ive had many there always miss struck lol epic find :)
Great finds there guys. I found my north east coast ambiani stater back in 1993 in lincolnshire using a fisher 1266x. It is this stater you see on the left pic. It was extremely rare when i found it back then with only 1 other example in the uk and that was in the british museum in london and theirs had a hole in it. I believe a few of these exact examples has been found in hoards since, but still pretty rare even now. Funny thing is though i first used my brothers union jack system or criss cross system on the field back in 1993 where i found this stater, and found the stater on the 2nd sweep line. My brother thought of this system back then in 1993 and I was the first to use this search pattern in the uk, and everybody uses it now.
That certainly is a beautiful coin too. I imagine searching in the 90's when detecting wasn't as popular was far more fun! Easier to get permission too!
@@julieargent7617 Thanks julie, it is a beautiful coin and i have still got it. I have been metal detecting since 1980 when i was 10 and had a c-scope 950d, then i got a c-scope 990b which i bought new in 1983 from joan allen, with it's high pitched screech haha. Still got my fisher 1266x that i have had since 1991 from new and still works perfect. Yes your right metal detecting is more popular now and is harder to get permission nowadays.
it is rare to find a Doge in your region, congratulations, congratulations. I live 100 km from Venice, it is difficult to find these coins. Saluti dall'Italia. Felice vita. Doriano.
