Yes Tyler could change it up a bit but I applaud his success and continuing to employ black people and creating a black Hollywood for us. I wish him continued success
I don’t think he’s really helping black people how he could. It’s like if you own the biggest mall in America and instead of giving blabk people a chance to open up stores in your mall so they can grow their business and empire, he opens all the stores himself and then gives the jobs to black people paying them a little better than the others .He’s not sharing the wealth. He’s just using the talent to grow his empire and tricking the black people at home to think he’s doing good
I loved this picture different but a GOOD picture Tyler Perry keeps it Real….. Something’s in life you have go thru and to think about bcuz PPL this happens in life PPL for real.. we may not know it.. but it is real and Tyler has heard the stories by Black PPL…
Tyler needs a nap and needs to hire writers because this man brain is clearly fried doing everything!!!! He just acts like we as black women ONLY go through struggles, problems etc like damn it’s not all that bad. Same formula so tired
We definitely needed a back story on Dallas’ family. I thought the movie was poorly acted. Every scene seemed forced. The only genuine actor was Ava’s best friend.
So I just watched the movie and it was crazy. Dallas mom undressed in the church and told her son's to get the body was a bit😂. Like you, I was also confused while watching this movie.
I’m not a fan of Tyler Perry’s shows or movies because it always place black women in a negative light. I enjoyed his plays more, but I enjoyed this movies because both Cory Hardict and Megan Good showed strength with their acting probably because they could relate to their characters because of their own personal divorces
Just read LaBerrick say his real older Blood brother is in the movie. I haven’t watched yet, but I think he played the character Morris. I will watch today.
It wasn’t too bad. I liked it. Like you said, it’s a TP movie so I knew what to expect. Now you were a little confuse about the reason why Dallas’ family was at the hospital while Ava and her family was there. It’s because their younger brother got shot the night before.
Ohhhhhhh….how did I miss that??? Well, those boys reminded me of a rag tag family of mountain/coal mining hillbillies….who makes moonshine, bullies the community and constantly runs afoul of the legal system. Those trailers, all the trash scattered about was, digging graves in the front yard, walking around armed with bats, knives and guns…..scene STRAIGHT OUT OF a hillbilly, coal mining 🎥

I did like the movie. My daughter watched and she told me that it triggered her. TP likes to put black women these volatile, ill fated relationships.

It’s a Tyler Perry movie and that’s exactly what it was 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ it works for him soooooo he staying in his lane I guess
