I really disagree with Ryan, S/M might have had a dodgy landing on the 3Ath but that's still worth almost like a clean well executed 3LtzTh and when they land it better that's almost 8 points on BV alone. I love J/C but S/M have better twist, lift and DS and are stronger in PCS so the scoring is fair imo.
Idk I feel like it really depends. These two are my favorite so I wasn't complaining that they scored well, but I feel like mistakes should have bigger deductions. She managed to save the landing on the throw and didn't hit the ice completely so imo, so she didn't deserve a huge deduction because they saved it at the last minute - and I understand adding in the worth of the throw - but it still should have put them in second.
They could've worked it more thoroughly by the Olympics. Their long program ( La Terre Vue Du Ciel) was not very impressive at Skates Canada, but later in the season it has become one of the greatest ever.
James Moffatt It's a difficult element and they clearly can complete it often enough to make it worth including. Just because someone falls once doesn't mean they can't do it at all. And skating would be boring as hell if skaters only include stuff where it's impossible for them to get it wrong once in a while.

Such an ambitious program. Really, really hard... Good decision to go back to last season's program.
