I’m 5,1 and have the original puffer in the small I definitely can fit a thick sweater in the small in the original, but I’m looking to buy a long supper puff, I’m not sure to stick with a size small but I’m worried it might be too long or go with a xs and it be too tight, I’m not near an aritza so I can’t go try it on, not sure what to do ?
Would you still suggest buying a super puff? Have you noticed any shedding of feathers or pilling under the arms at all as I know that was happening with older versions.. I just bought a matte one but I heard the shine versions maybe won't pill at all.
I haven't had any issues with pilling with my 2020 matte black super puff and also haven't noticed any shedding feathers with this one. I'm happy with it!
Do you find that there’s less feathers/feels a little flatter in the elbow region? Just bought the same jacket and curious if they’re all like that or mine just needs some time to fluff up a bit more. The rest of the jacket is fine except for that area.
Hey, we’re the same measurements, looks so good on you! I just bought the midi length in xxs in-store but also tried on the long in xxs and did like the way it fell on my legs! Now I’m debating exchanging it. I feel like when I tried the long one on, it looked less bulky/puffy at the back. Idk why but I feel like the long one is more streamlined. Another thing, do you think it makes us look shorter if the coat hits mid-thigh (midi), whereas the long coat elongates?
Thanks Monica! I think a shorter one will definitely look more puffy since there's less material to weigh it down. I do think the longer coat elongates on petite! Mid-thigh works also, but could draw more attention to being short and may make you look wider depending on your body shape and style of jacket. Because the puffer is well... so puffy, I prefer the longer look (and also gives you extra warmth)!
water repellency is huge for me, being from BC, have you had any experiences with it in the pouring rain? Really enjoyed how straightforward you were with the review!
Thanks Crystal! Haven’t been out in any pouring rain, just the wet snow in the video which held up well. Aritzia did release a new version this year called The Super Puff2O which is 100% waterproof - the one may be more practical for your weather!
I would say it’s a true black! I don’t know if I would say SUPER dark - the very first one I had was the darkest black, but this one is by far the best quality and dark enough for what I was looking for.

DONT EVER BUY FROM ARITZIA!! I spent over $400 on a jacket a super puff. It ripped on the sleeve as I was walking by a flat door frame!! and they won’t do anything. The best they said was a $10 gift card but you can’t literally buy anything at Aritzia for $10
