It’s most definitely been in development for longer than that. Developers will start developing sequels well before prequels if they know they’re going to release them

Just like a ost of a possible crossover between Brave and The Lion King would be. Amazing. I never even imagine that crossing two different kinds of folk melodies like these would be this beautiful. Hats off to the composer.

This song hit me like seeing Braveheart for the first time in 1995. This game hits me like playing FF7 for the first time in 1997. The words im feeling cannot be described. This is the greatest video game ever made. Upon entering Gongaga i sat my controller down on my lap and happy tears began to roll down my face; brought on from the promise made to me, and all of us, that squareenix made almost a decade ago. They actually did it. They made the masterpiece of masterpieces. We are here, and it is beautiful. See yall in the lifestream 💚

It's too bad we don't get the see Rocket Town in this game (since they're saving that town for Part III) and instand the devs focused on Gongaga. Which I must said is truly worth it. they've put so much depth to this region. There's so much beauty to be hold here and the serene vibe it gives off. The Gongaga Region theme is just the icing on top it really fits Zack Fair overall personality. You can just imagine how he grew up, playing and training in this jungle. 😊😊

I can relate. This area is hardcore reminding me of my dad, who sadly passed away in 2022. We played REMAKE together, and he was looking forward to Rebirth.
Something about this song inspires nostalgia in myself as well. My father was never a Final Fantasy fan, or much of a gamer at all. He passed last year, and something about this song just makes me think of him, and while it was playing I got the overwhelming feeling that he was about to walk into the room.

I’ve never played a game that just consistently outdid itself time and time again. You would think you’d get used to the huge detailed areas 100 hours in, but the game just keeps giving! I can’t imagine what part 3 will be like
hopefully the size of this + wutai, northern region, midel, the other small islands that are only for materia caves AND the whole world underwater... if done right.... and I am hopeful... then 1,5 times the size.... and I can wait for 4-5 years.. the given love can be felt... :)
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is incredible...and word on the street is that this game is bombing hard in sales. Why??!!! My faith in gamers has been crushed...

It was for 8 years. Rebirth was finished when the first released. Polishing wasn't. That's when they figured out you need next Gen to play part 2

each region gets different/more instrumentation the more you complete the zone. I personally prefer the More upbeat version.

This is literally the WORST zone in the entire game, and of course it has my #3 favorite track of all time...
It's easily my favorite zone. Traveling through those ancient ruins in Gongaga made me feel special kind of way. A true adventure.
