his spirit blows in the wind, flows in the rivers,is among the stars, rises with the sun .he is the clay and grass you walk upon ,in the air that you breath, the rusel of the leaves .he still walks the spirit land next to your shadows.do not let his life be forgotten .

A great AMERICAN hero! I have traveled from little big horn battlefield to fort robinson where crazy horse was killed and from Sitting Bulls monuments at pine ridge and Grand River area. Both very impressive. Been to Wounded Knee as well. Very depressing and in need of attention and respect it deserves. I pray that when "the time is right" as claimed by relatives, that I can be there to pay respects when his body is returned. Maybe when monument is finished in South Dakota, he could be laid to rest there.

For everyone out there, Crazy Horse is an incorrcet translation of Tashunka Witko. His name was "The mere sight of his horses made you crazy" (Dee Brown, for me nº1 American Native writer, Bury my Heart at Wounded Knee, terrible book...will torture and torment you, cut your appetite and fill you with horror for many, many days). We hardly ever get to know the history but rather "his-story". It's the same old story, we are competitive animals and behave as such. How can we just live and let live?

I have heard Crazy Horse will return to his people in stone. I saw the image of Crazy Horse carved in stone on the mountain in the black hills area. I am not American indene but I appreciate the image like Crazy Horse is a memorable part of my own history. Thank you Very much.

My grand relations told me my great grandmother, who is a Sioux from the lineage down south, that Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull are direct lineage to her and my family. I was told she was part of the group who came north around the same time when everything went down with Crazy Horse and Sitting Bull.

I read Crazy Horse told his friends and family he could come back if he was painted red and put into a river. This story makes alot of sense of where they lost the trail......very interesting. And by the way, Im a full blood Lakota...Sicangu and Oglala.

@Alicia2397 They are direct descendants of Old Man Crazy Horse or Waglula. They are descended from Crazy Horse's sister, Iron Cedar. In the Lakota culture their long ago uncles are quite often referred to as 'Grandfather'. It is their way and the film is presented as such. Most films about Natives have always been presented through the dominant culture's eyes. This film was done in their way so that their story as they know it stayed whole.

There will be a time when all will be revealed to us you cant rush it I do somewhere down the line I had a Cheyenne, Arapaho, Cherokee ancestor there is another side where spirits go some stay on earth because they didnt finish whatever it was they needed to do, some are killed, and some go to the creator that is life and we learn in school about the Native American Wars and the settlers in my opinion standing up for what you believe in is not wrong Im sorry but I agree with the Native Americans

" in you flows the Spirit of Crazy Horse, you were born to be a warrior. you were born of a people who knew that the price of peace is the willingness to stand up to aggression. today you are the living generation, today you are the warrior. you have a role and purpose in this world. Crazy Horse is dead, his life is finished, his body is returned to Mother Earth, but his spirit, his courage is alive. "

Summer 2012; I climbed a hill behind the KOA in the Black Hills ... Things happened and I eventually addressed Crazy Horse 'in the waves'. Whilst returning to my tent I herd howling in the distance and simultaneously happened upon deer legs! About 2 weeks later I got home and read a National Geographic's article featuring a man wearing a spider mask ... His part in the magazine emulated my experience very closely.

I am a descendant as well, yet when I asked questions I was told to refer to the whiter side of my culture....which are not in tuned with nature but in conflict. I told them i didn't have time for that and went back to nature for my answers. Some day, i may run into a relative or two who may accept we are of the same line or not...don't care anymore. If I can't get closure from family I'll go straight to Wankantanka for my answers. Stupidity and ignorance sets us too far apart to care otherwise.

Crazy Horse>1 of the greatest leaders to ever grace the Black Hills.
I hope when his monument is complete, i hope his spirit is sent by WankanTanka and jumps into and brings the crazy horse monument to life, and then he rides his horse to M.t Rushmores and shoots those evil genocidal faces off of our sacred grounds with his mighty bow.

Crazy Horse destroyed custer, yes. There was no last stand, as custer was routed. General custer tried to chase fleeing women and children. Not going unnoticed two groups of warriors chased down and killed custer and his men, who also included Native Scouts from another tribe. The Scouts with custer told him not to attack the Native village and to wait for support, but he didnt listen.

    and for white people,
or any other people who don't have spiritual people in their lives to teach them,
Remote Viewing and Robert Monroe's OBEs are a good place to start,
and the old way is coming back,
    with or without us,
soon, or after we have already gone south,
    it's just nature,
the Red Sky prophecy is pretty interesting too,
    thx for the vid,
always curious about a great warrior, a TRUE WARRIOR!
who served his people and LOVED LIFE !!!!
