- its the very last day of my 4 day disney dream very merrytime cruise... and im so sad!! so enjoy our last adventure together aboard the disney dream during our day at sea. full of MANY tears, laughs, characters, and memories.
as our solo disney cruise adventures come to an end, i feel that this is only the beginning. my hope is that after watching these videos, you realize the importance of dreaming. your dreams matter, and they CAN come true. your dreams may be different than everyone else, and they may lead you down an unknown path. but just because no one has traveled down that path before, doesn't mean its not the right one. trust in yourself and you'll always succeed.

This is crazy because on the Disney Wish last week, I felt the exact same way as you did at the end of this video. I cried everyday, at the shows, when meeting my favorite characters, etc…the entertainment had me in tears. I just could feel in my gut that’s where I should be ~ on stage with them. It encouraged me to finish my degree in theatre this spring, which I was going to take longer to do. It gave me the motivation to apply for the dcp next week and seeing that the character performer role was back, it felt like a sign. I always thought I’d perform in the parks but maybe a ship is where I’m meant to be! I’m glad we could both learn something similar from the disney cruise experience ☺️

Ever since I saw your DCP videos in my freshman year of high school, I knew that was something I wanted to do. I am now a sophomore in college and I just applied to the DCP. I have always wanted to work at Disney since my first trip to WDW when I was 5. I wanted to be a princess. And now I want to make magic for other people. I have been a little hesitant about actually living my dream recently and doubting if I should do the DCP. Your speech at the end of this video made me realize that I really do need to do it. I need to go for it. Live my dream while I have the chance and make a difference in other people's lives just like you do for me and so many others every single day. Thank you so much Emily. So the end of this video made me tear up. Lately, I've been listening to your videos every day while on the way to work. I enjoy what I do, but my work can also be stressful and nerve-racking, and watching your videos help calm me down and feel a little more peace in the mornings. I also find it pretty inspiring how you're taking dance classes. I'm trying to find ways to work art into my everyday life because I know it's important for me and my mental health and happiness. i think incorporating art into your life can be so calming, especially when you do so as just a hobby. i think that’s partly what i learned too, the importance of having hobbies that are simply just for fun 💓
I loved this vlog series, and especially your attitude and positivity about traveling alone! I travel solo quite a bit (just came back from a trip to Tokyo Disney alone, actually) and some people are quick to judge when anyone, especially a young female, travels by themselves. But it's all about making "core memories", like you said. And I especially loved the end - solo trips can be great for introspection and finding out what's important to you. Excited to see what you do next!

TV on demand is awesome! I spent about 2 hours on our cruise watching Stuck in the Middle (I had never seen it) and I was like "Dang, this is good!" At night we would watch the Mickey shorts, which were so funny.
Since you cruised in middle school you are now at that adult stage where you have the freedom to do adult things like get fruity drinks, but have a little sadness inside because you can't go the Edge or Vibe anymore.
Not me sobbing at the end of this video 😭 honestly everything you said has freakin hit me so hard. I have been watching your videos since your dcp days and I have been wanting to move forward and make a career out of my art and I have always wanted to vlog, but I have been so afraid to do so. You saying all that just makes me want to do it. I want to make art and make a career out of it. I want to right my very own young adult novel. I want to vlog. Watching you makes me feel like I can do it. So really thank you. You have inspired me and so many to follow our dreams. Hey Emily. I’m in the middle of catching up but wow, the epilogue of this Vlog really made me smile and made me feel more confident in myself to follow my dreams and reach my goals. I feel really happy that I’m making progress. I just saw the Dancing With The Stars Concert tour and I have a lot more things coming up this year, like another Disney World trip this fall and I feel more motivated to keep working on myself to better myself mentally and physically.
