      - yes, there are problems but they are basically: 1) that Ireland does not spend enough on educating the migrants, 2) the lack of proper housing for the immigrants, and 3) employers not motivated enough to hire the migrants. If these 3 issues are solved satisfactorily, the outcome will be a win-win situation for both the migrants and for the Irish.

@@Alien_O1 Honestly there is far too much at stake here to worry about being called silly words. We now have a situation where foreigners who arrived into Ireland recently, who have no ties to the nation, or culture, can now vote in our local elections.
This is a gross perversion of our democratic process, we have small towns and villages where these migrants outnumber the locals and will now be able to outvote them as they will vote in a bloc for their preferred candidate. I have nothing against foreigners, however a nation must put the welfare of its own people as its priority.
Looking at the forecast migration levels and taking into account the age groups for having children, this indicates that native Irish people will become a minority in Ireland before 2050, and may even happen around 2040. This is completely unacceptable and we must take action now to stop this from happening.

The Dail has voted IN for the EU Migration Pact. They could have voted OUT but chose not to. Were the Irish people asked if they wanted IN or OUT? Absolutely not. I guess when the unknown numbers begin to arrive the TD's will just say that they are committed to this and nothing can be done.
Irish history is very important. Is this what the Irish fought and died for in 1916? To see their country and people to cease to exist? The TD's are playing with fire and they will get burnt.

Irish people don't blame anyone except our own government. I think immigration might not be as much of an issue if it wasn't making other issues worse, such as our housing crisis, or shortage of hospital beds. Having said that Ireland must assert it's right to have complete autonomy over our immigration policy as per the Lisbon Treaty which gives us the right to opt out of quotas set by the EU. No Irish person objected to Eastern Europeans coming from other EU countries at the turn of the Millennium. But now, things are out of control and the rate of immigration is way too high. There's a severe housing crisis and ex-Taoiseach Leo Varadkar kept referring to "legal and international obligations" when discussing immigration as if we had no right to any say in the matter.

Believe it or not, hundreds of men who have been deemed not entitled to stay in Ireland have not been deported and we the irish are paying to feed, water and shelter them still. Just to add: they're not constrained by the EU on migration. Ireland has an opt-out on the EU migration and asylum pact under the lisbon treaty similar to Denmark. The current Irish government voluntarily chose to opt-in. They've also put much more attractive policies in place for asylum seekers like promises of own accommodation and fast tracks to being able to work and citizenship in less time than most other countries. The current disaster is in large of their own making although the people crossing from the UK are certainly making the situation more untenable.

Its not the eus place to devolve irish or any members state sovereignty. And the rewanda policy is not a real issue. Any asylum seeker leaving one host country for another is breaking international asylum law. And therefore Rwandan is not a reason to stop deportation. We as a sovereign state have every legal moral and dogmatic right to send economic asylum seekers back to tbeir original country and or back to their original host country. Their is no legal moral or eu law that prevents this sovereign right to not be invaded.

More like 90% but that's not the issue . The Irish government , NGO's , and businessmen who are making huge profits from the migration rackets were happy to carry on to the limits and beyond . If they had carried on with the slow drip feed the population might never have reared up . But the Ukraine war provided them with an opportunity to go for it big time and with the sympathy of the population . The game plan then was to fill spaces left by Ukrainians who moved on with the more desirable Islamic colonists from the Middle East and North Africa . Problem is the Ukrainians are not dispersing quickly enough and it's causing a logjam , with armies of young men being dumped on towns and villages all over the countryside . It's now being done blatantly and in the full knowledge that almost the entire indigenous population are against it , which is why it's getting lively here . Trust me , it'll get livlier yet .

Passing the blame and leaving it on toes, doesn’t work any more. Like Jesus said, he died for your sins, today you accept your responsibility and own up to it. The truth will shine

Growing up in the US, learning the history of American Indians, I always felt it was a great injustice that migrants were allowed to displace the natives. And after WW2 as US elites talked about ending colonialism and "justice" you'd think there'd be acknowledgement of American Indians and a plan for how to reverse the great injustice by even reversing migration and giving most of the US back over time.
Instead the US has increased migration in the 1960s and kept increasing migration to the point now of open borders.
Without migration the US population would be declining and we could be giving it back. But mass migration makes that impossible.
The US's justice has no provision for native people's rights to be left alone. Around the world the US promotes "migrant rights" only. And as a colonial nation that destroyed American Indian nations and took their lands this makes sense. And migrant rights is the only rights"that the US promotes around the world because this is what justifies the US's history of colonialism.
US human rights exclude native people completely. Native people are dehumanized. Economic imperative and materialism are all that matter "GDP go up".
If your leaders are friendly with the US, then these are the narrow " rights " they will adopt and natives will be excluded just as in the US.

But something still doesn't fit in, the USA is being flooded with illegal migrants and so is Canada and the the UK is no longer in the EU, so something else is at work here.
