I started playing a few weeks ago and love this game already, also when I took my first mission some random other guy filled my inventory with stuff including 600 MILLION units of ship vals. I think I broke the record for most money the fastest lol.

You can explore the interior of derelict freighters in space and get hyperdrive upgrades for your freighter. The inside gives dead space vibes as theyre often overrun with alien spiders or are abandoned with active security systems. Either way they usually have decent loot in them and you can even read crew logs to find out what happened to the ship
59:10 Ikr? I dunno why some of the choices in NMS hit so hard. Maybe because they really don't have any consequences for the player's gameplay, and so they are free from all other things, and all that's left is the decision and its consequence for the characters... It rends my heart every time, but every time I still seem to pick to let Artemis die 😢
it’s so interesting watching a normal persons play-through. right after i unlocked the anomaly, i went afk and came back to a bunch of statis devices in my inventory. to this day i haven’t had money problems and i don’t think i ever will but i wonder how different my game would be if i never got them. great video! 😊

Just started NMS again after finishing "Starfield" and being disappointed at its limitations.
I've been hoarding crashed ships for repair and selling & find if I stash any contraband on one ship then fly a "clean" ship to a station then swap them inside, no authorities need to be convinced of anything. Lol
I've been keeping a ship for warping plus resources, one for tech & one for general use and combat.
Biggest tip I have is to get Exo craft ASAP, get all the scanners especially Minotaur & the summoning station so you need only build one platform per vehicle per system.

Will tell you, the amount of content you smashed into this video is great. Most 100 days or 50hours play though only show little of the good stuff. This was a good amount of everything I would like to see in a new game. Well done

Don't worry about missing out on exotics or anything. I literally dumped all my Multitools and ships and gone full sentinel. I don't know why but hello games made everything sentinel related super overpowered. It's not even close.
One example. The alien Multitool had a max damage bonus of 35%. The sentinel Multitool has a max of 50%. Like how is this balanced? Same with ships. Just get a good sentinel interceptor and call it a day. Not worth it to get anything else.

@@AronAztekGaming The thing you really, REALLY, want to look out for are the supercharger slots. They should be together. Ideally in a square. But this is something really advanced you will learn later. Nothing beats a good SC layout

Whispering eggs you don't need to dig no more, they made the Alien AI dumb and slow. You can just come to the closest egg group of eggs collect them quickly and jetpack away to the next set of eggs. If you are somewhat quick you can collect all the eggs before they Aliens even land a single hit on you!

I'd say the most uses resource is either Ferrite or Carbon, but Copper and Chromatic Metal are very much tied at 3rd.
I remember playing this so long ago that all of these resources were completely different. Also, those big resources deposit veins (like how you find copper these days) could literally be any resource in the game. Sometimes they'd spawn in as these giant 100 foot tall pillars. Also... You could mine it with the basic mining laser, and it wouldn't actually destroy the ground, so you could have very clean mining sites. Then they added the terrain manipulator and everything changed.

I'm the kind of guy who wastes a lot of hours and resources to try and find a "home" planet. I'll put down a base and a teleporter on basically any planet that I like, but only one can be my home base. During the pirate expedition I found a perfect planet that's called Stellaris (not my choice, someone found it first), and put down a settlement. Temperate, no storms, and zero sentinel activity. Plus the other planets in the system have more rare resources.

So, how did you reckon the number of days? In this game the day night cycle is dependant on what side of a planet you are on, and if you switch planets all the tine (as everyone does), then you are constantly traveling to a different phase of the day night cycle prematurely...
Maybe we should come up with a standardized way of doing a 100 days challenge for NMS. Or maybe modify the challenge to be 100 planets or 100 systems.
So I googled the day cycle and in game it’s called sols and one complete Sol is 30mins in game. But 100 Sols is kinda hard to understand haha

I have a question, how do you know the day in the game if your travelling in space? I mean it's not like every single planet have the same time cycle or the same position from the sun.
In NMS they call is Sols rather than days and one complete Sol is 30mins. Its just easier to use "Days" for lamen terms

Can you just tell me how to get that metal plate to fix the ship at the beginning of the game?Also,how do I scan things and fix the scanner?I am constantly putting sodium in my suit to keep going.This game is for people that came out of the womb holding a controller.I am not laughing.I had high hopes for this game,but the designers had other plans.

Seems no one answered ur question about making ur speeder come up when u scrap ships. So...the game defaults to the ship that is number one in ur ship slots. If u scrap the pillar ur speeder will always be what comes up if scrap other ships even if u get other ships. Unfortunately there is no way to keep the pillar and move it down the list.😊 Appreciate u showing off one of my favorite games.

You'll need a solid chunk of money to make this happen. For me it cost around 175M with a fully-upgraded exotic. So be prepared for that. You'll also need one free slot, so maximum of 11 starships. You don't need to do any other prep. Just go to any space station. (I'm not sure if removing your inventory first will reduce the cost to rebuy or not but it's probably pennies compared to the starship price)
It's very important to remember that the game won't overwrite your save point unless you exit a spaceship, or use a save beacon. So just don't enter/exit a spaceship until you're sure you haven't screwed anything up. Reload your save point (not autosave) if you make a mistake.
First, we need to get the position 1 ship somewhere else. So to remove it from its current slot without destroying it, trade it for some random starship. Then return to your original starship and buy it back from the same guy. This will put it into the first empty slot. If you want to put it into a particular slot, you'll need to make sure that slot is the first empty slot. You can rearrange your entire roster of starships using this method, just apply the same techniques.
Once that's done, we want position 1 to be open, so scrap the random starship you just bought. I recommend entering/exiting your original starship after you rebuy it to make sure it is, indeed, yours. Then go to your new ship, enter/exit to make it your primary, and then scrap it.
If you don't care about your position 1 starship, just you can skip all of the above and just scrap it. Easy peasy.
Second, we want to move our primary ship into position 1, which is now vacant. What we want to do is buy our primary ship, so first we need to trade it away for another random ship. The random ship goes into the slot our primary ship was in. Now return to your primary ship, where the pilot will be waiting, and rebuy it (if you have a fully-kitted-out ship, expect this to be pretty expensive). Since this is a new purchase, it goes into the first available slot, which is slot #1. Hooray, your primary starship is now in position 1!

For any veterans out there, I found a settlement swarmed by sentinels but for some reason they dont respawn or the event never stops. I get a notification that high level sentinels are coming but I dont see any within the settlement. Just rinse and repeat. Sentinels will detect me then after 3 star wanted level they stop spawning but i get a message that sentinels detects me. Its really annoying. Is this a bug?
