@False Flag Any decent health inspector worth a crap will almost always take a glove and check underneath where there's a rubber seal and on the pad ice will slide down. It takes like one second to do. This was a huge problem back in the day but not so much anymore. All you need to do these days is make sure the restaurant has a decent score on the front of the restaurant and you're good.

17:30 Cleetus, once you're confident its operational, be sure that it is well cleaned before usage, INCLUDING any ventilation(important!). Old refrigerators can be unhealthy if they haven't been maintained/cleaned properly. I used to work in a kitchen, and refrigerator hygiene was always a priority. :D Its not as simple as just keeping it cold, as germs can still be a hazard, particularly if the temp goes up and down in the environment. Btw, the temp will fluctuate over the year, and if the fridge is not sanitary enough, it WILL present a possible health hazard. Until you clean it and get a inspection though, theres no way to be sure. Best to be safe than sorry here to prevent sickness. :D
Cleetus i work in HVACR and usually whenever a restaurant changes owners even if the walk in is in good condition after being off for a while water soaks into the walls and mold builds up i would recommend replacing it. They average around $40,000 for a standard 8x24 fridge/freezer combo plus labor. The company’s i work for are “johns refrigeration” and “northern air heat and refrigeration”
i wouldn't replace the valves in the toilets. id personally replaces them all with new aqua squares double flush buttons. they are 100$ new at lowes and come with a 5-year warranty on all parts. I've put in over 200 with zero problems so far. replacing the valves will cost about the same if you pay a plumber to do them. but anyone with some common sense can change a toilet
Those spigots in the in field will be a continuous problem for alec when they get hit, I would recommend ground valve boxes with keyed quick couplers be installed.
Cleeter I can’t believe a couple months ago I thought you were going to motor trend. This is really so incredible to watch and I will definitely make the trip from New York once you get some cars rippin in there!
big note: When operating pumped lines, for the love of god, always open a valve before closing the other one... i cringed just watching lol looks great Cleetus and crew!
Yeah that can be dangerous 4 sure I got blasted into an open electrical panel one day at work when a plastic (pvc) valve split open under pressure and the 180 psi 3" column of water hit me lucky the panel was down for service.
Hey Garrett, I'm an industrial maintenance mechanic with 14 years experience. I have tons of experience with electrical, plumbing, and hvac as well as automation controls. I dabble in anything else including sound and video. I can also build or swap a motor, tear a car apart and restore it, or just make it run and go down the road. Small engine repair and maintenance is also not a problem. I've operated heavy equipment unprofessionally albeit safely and been paid for it. If my skills are something you need, I offer them to you for $90k/yr salary. I need to stay busy though. I'd be walking away from a job with the same salary but they can't keep me busy. I'm tired of staring at walls 8 hrs a day.
Moved from Carolina to Manitowoc to open the Lowe’s home improvement in 2005. The only way this Carolina boy could pronounce all the city names was by watching the morning weather. Great place miss it.
3:23 You should build yourselves a big fscking air blower to remove the water. Something V8 powered. A Chevy smallblock would be perfect! And... you should paint it red.
Hey Cleetus. I've got a tip on those Sloan Regal and Royal flush valves for you, that I'd like to be my contribution to the Freedom Factory. I hope it saves you thousands of dollars by not replacing flush valves you just rebuilt, that seem unrepairable no matter what you put in them. After installing new kits and they still act up, is when they tell you, you need to buy a whole new flush valve. NOT. You see, many years ago, I had a couple valves still acting up right after I rebuilt them with all new parts, including the plastic insert inside the top cap. Everyone figures that the chrome top cap being solid metal doesn't need to be replaced, so they never do. And that's actually is the problem. Over years of service, I believe the cap somehow changes in specs (I think it actually gets screwed down farther with more turns each time it's put on) causing the plastic liner cap inside of it, to change capacity on top of the diaphragm, then they don't work right. So as a last ditch effort, I tried replacing the chrome metal top caps, before buying new valve bodies and it fixed the problem. They worked like brand new, just as they should with all new parts in them. Over the years I've replaced countless metal caps, saving countless thousands below the cost of replacing each valve, especially since you just rebuilt the old one. So if there are any giving you trouble after a rebuild, try a new chrome cap before buying a whole new valve. You'll walk away at least a couple hundred bucks ahead for each valve that you thought you had to buy. Just a little trade secret there to help get you flushing, without flushing money when you don't have to! P.S. Keep the floor drains in all areas clear and flowing well, in case one overflows. And Keep the little lake! Take care. Jpol.
I enjoy seeing everything getting fixed. In the end, you've got a badass racetrack open to the public. I can't wait to see some more appliances and fixtures replaced/repaired. Keep up the great videos!
That place is going to be like owning a home: Me: It’s going to be smooth sailing, just need to take care of these two things. Home: Let’s just break several things to ensure, that budget is f**ked up!
>something breaks, budget is fucked up >film self talking about thing that broke >repairs paid off and budget increased by $5k God damn that's a winner in my book
That place ain't like owning a home. That place is like owning an amusement park or owning a resort. I have no idea how he does it but he's making it work.
Christopher Warnecke I’m surprised he pronounced it like that also 😂😂. He’s from Omaha. I kept scrolling down the comments to see if anyone wrote anything about Steven Avery.
Definitely a good idea to descale those ice machines before you use any of the ice. Manitowoc uses two different solutions to clean then sanitize. Health code may require annual or semiannual cleaning. Just some input. Glad to see this place coming along. You guys are living the dream.
Those units next to the walk in cooler and freezer are the condensers for the evaporators hanging in the freezer and cooler. And the manitowac ice machine are a great brand.
Cletus I am so proud of you 😁 being so young and taking on a huge responsibility of renovating the freedom Factory. Truly a dream come true and I couldn't be more happier for you and all the guys at the freedom Factory keep up the good work brother and the videos rolling we're always watching.
I just had a weird, random idea. When you all have a night event, some sort of projector projecting FF as you drive in, onto the ground, would be DOPE!
They need the opposite. Like a small blimp that says FF on it that can be seen from miles away. I've seen a local TV station do it and its impressive because spotlit from the ground you see it like 20 miles away.
Do some signature dish research for the concession stands! like the Greaseagedon burger! Screaming eagle fries! Blownturbo chili etc. maybe some food youtubers could help, like Guga foods is in Florida.
Without going into a lecture about pump theory, increasing the pipe diameter between the tank and pump will give you more flow and keep the pump impellers from being cut in half by cavitation. Love you guys!
I do ac and refrigeration if you need a guy. I'm in St. Pete, but do work across the bridge frequently. Plus the track isn't too far from the open range we go and shoot at.
Ya, I mentioned in the video when they were installing the new infield they need Valve Pits with a Hatch(with notch for hose so you can close it with the hose hooked up) for those Ball Valves so they aren't in the way. Like this one: www.berkeysupply.com/product-70.html Would make it easier to mow too.
@@joefields719 nah. If a car snaps off a PVC hose bib, it's no big deal, like 15 cents to fix it, and the car won't be hurt. trying to "shore up" those things or put them below ground is just asking for problems when a car does hit it, or if water puddles up in it or whatever.
I love the shot of you driving by the main area of the FF. It doesn't look like a ghost town anymore, or a set from an old movie. It looks neat and inhabited, and like there's cool stuff that's gonna be happening there. Garrett, you must wake up every day and thank the good Lord for having such a cool life.
Manitowoc ice makers are one of the best. Keep that ice bin drain clean bro. I know a thing or two because I've been the tech that goes to a remodeled place and the drains are usually filled with alge. New equipment does not mean proper operation. Flush the drain and do it for Dale. Btw the carbon/scale filters are a must on the wall directly before the UNIT. Runn them through a clean cycle every week if y'all start packing stands regularly. I hope the best man. Love from a furloughed hvacr and beverage tech.
I think it would be awesome if Cleetus got a flag pole for the FF and had the world record for largest USA flag. Having that would really put the "F" in Freedom at the Freedom Factory

Old refrigerators can be unhealthy if they haven't been maintained/cleaned properly. I used to work in a kitchen, and refrigerator hygiene was always a priority. :D
Its not as simple as just keeping it cold, as germs can still be a hazard, particularly if the temp goes up and down in the environment. Btw, the temp will fluctuate over the year, and if the fridge is not sanitary enough, it WILL present a possible health hazard. Until you clean it and get a inspection though, theres no way to be sure. Best to be safe than sorry here to prevent sickness. :D
Not 100% sure but I think he'll have to have everything food related inspected before opening to the public.
"What about these walk in freezers?"
Plenty of space to keep your mountain dew and Nos bottles chilled.
nipps223 I think you misspelled “Bartle Skeet” there.
Nitrous bottles need to be warmed to make pressure, not cooled.
Spicy Spence is a damn good addition to this channel! Dude is funny as hell. 🤘🏻
$20k in toilets
those are tankless commercial toilets, you cant just put a residential unit in there, it would be broken in a month.
Those spigots in the in field will be a continuous problem for alec when they get hit, I would recommend ground valve boxes with keyed quick couplers be installed.
ground valve boxes are great places for snakes and spiders to hang out!
Cleeter I can’t believe a couple months ago I thought you were going to motor trend. This is really so incredible to watch and I will definitely make the trip from New York once you get some cars rippin in there!
big note: When operating pumped lines, for the love of god, always open a valve before closing the other one... i cringed just watching lol
looks great Cleetus and crew!
This is true but in this case the pump was off due to the hi level switch on the tank.
Tango Foxtrot oilfield day one, open a valve before you close a valve
Aren't all lines pumped lines? How would you be able to close them all if you have to always open another one first?
Yeah that can be dangerous 4 sure I got blasted into an open electrical panel one day at work when a plastic (pvc) valve split open under pressure and the 180 psi 3" column of water hit me lucky the panel was down for service.
@Yar Nunya Jesus Christ this a TH-cam comment section not a English class take a chill pill
I was smiling like a kid when you gave him that pit bike, such an awesome gesture. Rip 'em hard, boys!
As someone from Wisconsin, I about had a stroke hearing you try to say "Manitowoc" lmao
Like when someone from outside the US tries to pronounce Potomac and it comes out Poe toe Mack. /facepalm
And... you should paint it red.
get with Agent JayZ from youtube and build a jet engine like nascar uses
The on and off switch on the walk in cooler on the outside is the light switch just fyi
That place is going to be like owning a home:
Me: It’s going to be smooth sailing, just need to take care of these two things.
Home: Let’s just break several things to ensure, that budget is f**ked up!
Welcome To The Madness Never ending trips to Lowe’s.
@@adrianspeeder Gettin up in the mornin and going to the hardware store always sucks
I really hope he didn't underestimate the amount of money for the repairs of infrastructure. Ol' cleeter surely will make us proud. 💪
>something breaks, budget is fucked up
>film self talking about thing that broke
>repairs paid off and budget increased by $5k
God damn that's a winner in my book
That place ain't like owning a home. That place is like owning an amusement park or owning a resort.
I have no idea how he does it but he's making it work.
As someone who is from Wisconsin, it's hilarious listening to you guys pronounce manitowoc 😂😂😂
Christopher Warnecke I’m surprised he pronounced it like that also 😂😂. He’s from Omaha. I kept scrolling down the comments to see if anyone wrote anything about Steven Avery.
Cripes, you'd think a guy's never heard of the Manitowoc Minute.
How do you pronounce it? I'm not from the US so idk
@@sawspitfire422 mani-twok
Only Wisconsin folks really know how it's pronounced, but the florida man gave it his best shot :)
If you ever need a pump supplier, I work for Gould’s pumps as a project manager and we can get you some pumps on the fly.
Spence has pitbike for 2 seconds: talks smack about winning races. Love it😂😂😂😂
Definitely a good idea to descale those ice machines before you use any of the ice. Manitowoc uses two different solutions to clean then sanitize. Health code may require annual or semiannual cleaning. Just some input. Glad to see this place coming along. You guys are living the dream.
20 years restaurant experience, 5 years logistics, freedom loving ,car crazed FF food manager ready to report for duty!
Now back to This Old Racetrack with Cleetus. “Today on This Old Racetrack; rebuilding your urinals.”
I wonder if Dale Jr. Would ever be so kind as to "Do It For Cleetus".🤔
I-racing would be cool!
@themetal it would be killer to have dale go to the freedom factory to run some laps and put his own mark on the pad.
Definitely clean the inside of that ice machine.... they get disgusting inside
Those units next to the walk in cooler and freezer are the condensers for the evaporators hanging in the freezer and cooler. And the manitowac ice machine are a great brand.
Would have been funny if Spence was like " aww yeah, a bike with a trailer!"
soo the freedom factory is ready for some drift comps for when the world gets back on its feet :D
Now you just need a janitorial sponsor to cone in and clean that whole campus up.
TexRobNC Hell yes it would!
They need the opposite. Like a small blimp that says FF on it that can be seen from miles away. I've seen a local TV station do it and its impressive because spotlit from the ground you see it like 20 miles away.
John Possum put a light inside it and it’s an awesome draw
I mean if you're gonna project anything you gotta do it on that beautiful infield
@@eddominates But then we don't get to enjoy the infield itself!
Do some signature dish research for the concession stands! like the Greaseagedon burger! Screaming eagle fries! Blownturbo chili etc. maybe some food youtubers could help, like Guga foods is in Florida.
I've never wanted screaming eagle fries so bad in my life.....
You need some poutine to go with the greasagedon burger, just call them greasagedon fries.
th-cam.com/video/srAH2NS1RMQ/w-d-xo.html
Might I add the Neighbor Burger? The Neigh-borger?
Blown o ring chili.
Man some guga steaks at the freedom factory, I would make the trip from Canada in a heartbeat
Alex choy: Yeah im a car guy look at my attention seeking lambo!
Freedom factory: Please.
I've waited for this all day
Without going into a lecture about pump theory, increasing the pipe diameter between the tank and pump will give you more flow and keep the pump impellers from being cut in half by cavitation. Love you guys!
I do ac and refrigeration if you need a guy. I'm in St. Pete, but do work across the bridge frequently. Plus the track isn't too far from the open range we go and shoot at.
I feel like the hoses in the infield are not going last long before they get smashed...
My thoughts also, maybe need those tucked down within a water-box like water main shutoff at your house, by the street.
Ya, I mentioned in the video when they were installing the new infield they need Valve Pits with a Hatch(with notch for hose so you can close it with the hose hooked up) for those Ball Valves so they aren't in the way. Like this one: www.berkeysupply.com/product-70.html
Would make it easier to mow too.
@@joefields719 nah. If a car snaps off a PVC hose bib, it's no big deal, like 15 cents to fix it, and the car won't be hurt. trying to "shore up" those things or put them below ground is just asking for problems when a car does hit it, or if water puddles up in it or whatever.
They walk him out with a helmet on, then begins to ride without it... fun first, safety second!
How did you expect him to see with it on backwards.
I agree a lot safer without helmet
*safety third
Some serious “Ozark” accounting could go on here
I think you mean Ozark "accounting" wink wink.
Green just like all the MONEY ill be winning!
Welcome back Spicy Spence!
Love Spence's energy, would love to see more of him
I think it would be awesome if Cleetus got a flag pole for the FF and had the world record for largest USA flag. Having that would really put the "F" in Freedom at the Freedom Factory
Marcus Lindsey the largest would cover his property
Plus they look terrible when there’s no wind and it takes a lot to keep them up
There a Stealership called New Castle Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Newcastle Maine that has a 50 foot American flag that's about 100'ish above their building and it's the most beautiful sight ever coming down the ride IMHO
I for one fully welcome Spicy Spence into the Freedom Family! Guy's energy is awesome and he's down for the cause!
Congrats I like watching these videos about the FF cleanup/ fixing. I never thought I'd enjoy someone cutting grass and turning on water lol, but it's awesome.
Steering the ZT onto the trailer one-handed while filming - that THAT is talent!
How bout that free water to pour on that infield ?? Gonna have the greenest grass in florida
@@JM-yx1lm free water?

That's so awesome guys.Glad to see the system going. Those ice machines are a Pain to clean,so once they're done, don't shut them off.(Quite a few years experience with them, and kitchens in restaurants talking). The compressors for the freezers, being exposed, may be toast.Best wishes for good help with this all.Really.I'd love to be there setting the kitchens up.
Dude I'm so stoked for you bro. I'm glad life is really treating you good cleetus. You have been working your ass off bro. All of you deserve it. You all have worked really hard. It's great to see someone succeed in life and it really makes me stoked!! Iv watched this all from the very beginning and even before all this and seeing you on 1320 for a few years. Hell yeah bro!
