- For the second straight day, one of Carolina’s frontcourt transfer portal targets chose a non-UNC option. On Sunday it was Rutgers transfer Cliff Omoruyi choosing Alabama and on Monday it was Kentucky transfer Adou Thiero picking Arkansas. What does this mean for the Tar Heels? Where do they turn next? Is it time for a reset? Is it time to consider playing to the current strengths of the roster more heavily? Will Carolina continue to consider transfer portal options? Will they take a serious look at players currently in the NBA Draft, but also in the transfer portal, like Illinois’ Coleman Hawkins?

I think Washington is going to surprise people. He's shown flashes of how good he can be with just limited minutes a game. With more minutes and more responsibility I think he'll show what he's got.

He definitely doesn’t. A kid that has all the talent in the world and has been healthy for exactly one year in the last 5. And that was last year. He’s going have a very good season.
He's not the only one. Washington cannot defend very well especially when he is pulled out to the three point line. Very important to get a defensive big in the portal. Just my opinion

I really think Washington can be a Brice Johnson type of guy with more 3 point upside, now we need a big paint body. Think Norchad from Miami would be a great pickup like him more than the guys we missed out on. He isn’t overly big or tall but he’s strong

Jalen Washington is more than good enough, players know it, unc know it's, it's why they don't offer starting spots to anyone, and I believe unc is only going after another big as insurance , washington has struggled not at unc to stay healthy, can he play 25 to 30 mins a night , nobody knows....unc might not wanna find out either

Follow the money to get it. Why do you think the Rutgers guy chose Alabama over UNC? Have you noticed how Arkansas is getting everyone? Have you noticed how Kentucky is backfilling to replace what Cal took to Arkansas? All 3 schools are SEC, and the SEC and Big 10 have buckets of millions being thrown at them for FBall (not because of academics) and that is being used to buy NIL players. Note how Indiana has been getting players, and even Michigan in the Big 10. It is not good for college athletics, as "college" is supposed to mean "academics," but that is the state of things nowadays.
All of this makes it more likely for UNC to leave the ACC, and that means that the ACC will implode.

Hubert is starting to worry me. If you can’t compete in NIL and transfer portal than you can’t be a top coach unless you’re an offensive genius like Dan Hurley which Hubert is not. Hubert needs to change his ways. We have the money spend it!!
