Dear Dad, I watched this video and it make me cry. Kasi wala na ang aking ama at pumanaw siya dahil sa sakit na emphysema. Naalaala ko siya dahil minsan ay may gusto akong bilhin na pagkain namin pero wala akong pera. Puro kasi kangkong at dahon ng kamote ang aming ulam. Dala ng kahirapan ay pinagtiyagaan namin ang mga ulam na iyon dahil ng panahon na iyon ay wala akong trabaho at ganuon din ang aking ama. May mga kapatid naman ang aking ama pero siyempre alangan naman unahin kami kaysa sa kanila diba? Minsan paguwi ko ay may nakita akong pagkain na nakabalot at nakalagay sa aming lamesa. Baka kako may bisita ang ama ko kaya may nagdala ng pasalubong pero naalaala ko na wala pala siyang kaibigan kasi nga medyo pasaway ang aking ama at kahit nga mga kapatid niya ay hindi niya kasundo. Binuksan ko ito at ako naman ay natuwa sapagkat Jollibee Made of Joy ang aming hapunan. Oo nakakatuwa talaga kasi kuripot ang ama ko at hindi bumibili ng basta bastang pagkain iyon lalo na kapag walang pera. Kaso naiyak ako dahil sabi ng ama ko ay Happy Birthday anak. Duon ako lumuha kasi siya lang ang nakaalaala ng birthday ko to think na andun ako para siya ay pasyalan ko dahil matagal na akong hindi nakakapasyal sa kaniya dahil nagkahiwalay ang aking mga magulang. Minsan ay naiisip natin na sana ay pwedeng ibalik ang panahon at oras na iyon para pasalamatan natin ng todo ang mga taong naging bahagi ng ating buhay. Hindi siya perpektong ama at madalas pa nga na kami ay parating nag-aaway. Pero hindi dahil hindi ko siya mahal kundi nais ko ding malaman niya na may pagkakataon pa para maituwid niya ang kaniyang mga nagawang mali. Sana mahalin natin ang ating mga magulang habang kasama natin sila.

They instead I happy with each others company, because they know that that is what truly matters in life. Once they put you in the ground, your money can’t save you, but leaving this world behind knowing you made a difference, that you were loved, and loved many people in return, is more valuable to me than any amount of money on this planet. How hard is that to understand? In my idealistic world, money would not exist, everybody would have the exact same opportunities as everyone else, nobody will be put ahead of anyone else because they have money, because everybody does deserve a chance to have the same opportunities as everyone else in this world, geography should never dictate someone’s ability to have a successful and happy life, but sadly, the reality is the complete opposite, and it’s that, that we need to change if we ever hope to evolve as a species, if we ever hope to survive, we have got to let go of materialism and elitism, because nobody is better than anyone else, we are all equal!

Just to give you some insight on the Philippines, its a very poor country with beggars and homeless, especially kids, they make a $1 or 45 peso an hour minimum wage. But they have amazing resiliency and rich lives due to there tight knit family. In the end it shows what lengths a father would go to for his daughter. Family first is the message.

No one can easily relate on this video unless one is in the same situation like the father he is with one and only child which he always fails to give what his daughter's desires. How painful is that? The intensity of love in the heart of a father for a daughter is more often hardly demonstrated. The title of the video is "Haplos" which means "Touch". To touch the heart and feelings of your one and only love is greater than any hug can give.
The first and last time that I saw my father is when I was 4-5 years old(can't exactly remember coz it's been too long). My father's family are rich while my mother's were average. Back then, my mom is a maid in my father's house and as time passes by they fall in love with each other and then they had me, but just like what we see in the drama, they cannot be with each other because of their socioeconomic status so my mother decided to go back to the province and raised me together with my grandparents and other members of families. My dad didn't forget about me at all and he actually supported me financially and emotionally throughout my life but on July 26, 2018 we received a news that my father died from Diabetes. It hurts to know that I never got the chance to see him one last time, and to tell him how much I loved him so much. I just wanted to feel his presence and hug him as tight as I can. Until now, I am still asking why? Why does it have to happen when all I need is a presence of a father even though I know how much he loved and sacrifice everything for me. I love you papa and you will forever be my best memory 🥺💙

Because like Eli Xan said, Asian's are more family oriented, and that due to circumstances like natural calamities or famines or the like they tend to stick together more. Most especially during storms or typhoons (which is very common in Asia), earthquakes, etc. And even without these, families reallly do stick together and most will do anything to ensure the happiness of the other( and for a parent's cases, they would make sure their children would have a brighter future) it has something to do with then being developing countries...

Back then, my mom is a maid in my father's house and as time passes by they fall in love with each other and then they had me, but just like what we see in the drama, they cannot be with each other because of their socioeconomic status so my mother decided to go back to the province and raised me together with my grandparents and other members of families. My dad didn't forget about me at all and he actually supported me financially and emotionally throughout my life but on July 26, 2018 we received a news that my father died from Diabetes. It hurts to know that I never got the chance to see him one last time, and to tell him how much I loved him so much. I just wanted to feel his presence and hug him as tight as I can. Until now, I am still asking why? Why does it have to happen when all I need is a presence of a father even though I know how much he loved and sacrifice everything for me. I love you papa and you will forever be my best memory 🥺💙

I guess most of the Asian countries are more family oriented. And In this way we express our deepest emotions in this kind of commercials.❤️🇵🇭
Because like Eli Xan said, Asian's are more family oriented, and that due to circumstances like natural calamities or famines or the like they tend to stick together more. Most especially during storms or typhoons (which is very common in Asia), earthquakes, etc.
And even without these, families reallly do stick together and most will do anything to ensure the happiness of the other( and for a parent's cases, they would make sure their children would have a brighter future) it has something to do with then being developing countries...
