Greeting to your mom that gave you some of these tips!!
All of your items were great but the backpack, I would get one (on Amazon) whereby the opening is on your back and no one can unzip you from the back and take anything. Thank you. I must get the air tags.
Amazing list. 1 thing you forgot: plastic luggage covers. Game changer
All of my important items go into the anti theft pocket at the back and any valuables are towards the back of the bag so not so easy to grab without me noticing…I really do want to get some plastic luggage covers so will definitely be purchasing! 😄
Thank you for your video , great tips . May I just say that As someone that likes traveling carry on only I find a travel wallet a bit big so what I do I usually have a small wristlet and use that as a travel wallet and is much smaller . 😊 I also find that neck pillows make me feel more uncomfortable on the flight. The only reason I would use a neck pillow is if I took the sponge out of the pillow and stuff it with clothes . But we are all different 😊
I’ve never tried a smaller wristlet! I shall give that a go! Thanks for the tip ✨
I find the neck pillow very helpful. I am short and my headrest is in the wrong place.😂
Me too! 🤣 and if you get a good one then they’re even better!
Great tips
I’m here for the accent 😊😊😊😊
Welcomeee 💖🫶🏽
Love this video the most 🏆🏆🏆✨
Thank you my love 🫶🏽💖
the plastic bags that came with the packing cubes are for your shoes
They’re too small to fit my shoes inside and the display image had clothes inside so I guess you can just use them for whatever you like☺️
@@Sapphmartinique ok. mine came with two big sneakers printed on them. figured it was pretty much the same
@pmason7898 that would’ve been so handy! Maybe I’ll try and find some online thank you💖
Hey! love your video! the only thing that I want to say is that I don't recommend ever using metal luggage tag. When you think how airport staff just throw all the bags everywhere, metal tag can really easily brake. That's how I lost my metal tag. Apparently, this metal tag with all my info is somewhere in the world right now:). So try using silicone/rubber ones:)
Thanks! I’ll be sure to try it in the future ☺️
In a sheet protect, I include a copy of my itinerary with the dates I will be back home and a copy of my passport.
Yes! I also do that too it’s very handy if your luggage were to get lost! ☺️
Nice video. I use compression packing cubes, so much better than the regular type. I also use a small passport wallet, not a huge one and I carry a small card wallet to use in my belt/sling bag. I use the silicone luggage tags as they’re more flexible and don’t bend or break off. I use the drawstring bags with the packing. U es for my shoes. I also use AirTags and put them in my carry on, any checked bags, plus my personal item bag. I’ll use that one in my daypack or crossbody bag when out shopping or sightseeing.
Thank you! ✨ also use a small card wallet but only when using a handbag as it doesn’t take up too much space. I must buy some compression packing cubes as I can imagine how great they will be ☺️
Compression packing cubes is the way to go
Definitely! I will be adding these to my list ☺️
@@Sapphmartinique I thought about compression cubes but some say the clothes crease more easily.?
@suelong3273 I have not yet tried them so I’m not sure but that does make sense as they will be tightly compacted within the cube! Luckily, I have a steamer to fix that haha! 😆
@@suelong3273 no they don't. It depends on the way you fold them, not on the compression cube. some people use vacuum bags -- now THOSE make crazy wrinkles. I never had an issue with my compression packing cubes.
There are chains (metal or silicon) that go round the back of your neck that your AirPods fit into that stop you losing them if sleeping
Wow! I did not know this existed! Thank you…I’ll definitely look into this ☺️
The card games is such a shout- why hadn't I thought of that before! Also, the airpod dropping and having to find it...that has been me :(
Yes girl get you some card games..especially monopoly deal! Also LOL @ the AirPod dropping because that is a crisis I never want to experience 😅
Just remember that steamers are not allowed on cruise ships. they are a fire hazard and on the prohibited item listing. You can borrow an iron from your cabin steward, but you will need to return it when finished.
Thanks for the tip! I mostly travel by plane so luckily for me they’re allowed on board haha😄
how is a steamer a fire hazard but not an iron? LOL
I’ve been using zip ties for 10 years now. Love
That makes me feel confident! I’m sure I’ll love them too☺️
I used zip ties for a while, until TSA had to open my bag one time between connecting flights. For the rest of the trip I had an un-secured bag. When I opened the bag at my hotel there was a note inside from TSA explaining they had searched my bag and strongly suggested I use a TSA approved lock in the future so that they could re-secure the bag after their search. I’ve used a TSA approved lock ever since.
@MAB_Canada oh wow! I also bring a padlock with me just in case in the UK we do not have TSA so we can just use any lock but I do have a TSA approved lock that I take with me for this reason. The zip ties are more a precaution so I can see if my bag has been searched as opposed to solely keeping it locked ☺️
@@Sapphmartinique your bag can still be opened, zip tie or not. All they need is a simple pen to open a zipped bag... just don't keep anything of value in the suitcase. they don't just randomly open bags to see what can be stolen, it's most likely the people who screen the luggage at the airport, and if they see something of value on the monitor, they might open to steal it... Nobody wants your panties, but if you put real gucci shoes inside, for example, those might be gone ....
The zip ties are a good idea but if security want to get inside your bag, they will.
Hi, the zip ties are more as a precaution to know that someone has been the in the bag and enable you to do extra checks on your belongings as opposed to preventing them from accessing the bag ☺️
I am going use Anti theft back pack
It’s so great! Fits so much inside too ☺️
Omw to go get zip ties!
Good! They seem like a great idea ☺️
