When I was three escaping Vietnam in 1973 I got lost in all the medlem. I encountered some of them in jungle below the mountains. I was rescue by the local indigenous mountain people and made it on the boat right before it left. The Indians know and communicate with them.
I've been to Vietnam many times and hiked through a lot of jungle areas. About 2 years ago while walking a trail in Dak Lak province one of these creatures ran across the trail about 50 yards in front of us. My wife, who is Vietnamese, freaked out and wouldn't go any further. When we got back to civilization she told the story to some of the locals who said we were lucky to be unharmed. Although rarely seen, they can be quite nasty.
The CIA knew about these trolls or ogres and have some preserved. They are partly human and are Simeons. They are not gorillas but an offshoot parallel to the gorilla mated with proto humans and they may have been related to H Erectus. Eyes are solid color more like cats. Noses more like animals. It’s not true. There’s absolutely no proof and when have you ever heard a Vietnam veteran talk about any of this stuff. Why would they want to hide a new species of ape that they discovered?
Yeah. My dad was forced conscripted in the war by south Vietnam. He did mention that his team met a few "RED APE LIKE MEN". He said they looked as tall as him. He's 5"7. But the apes didn't attack them and they was trying to hide in the jungle so they didn't shoot the ape men. The ape like men then just walked away without conflict. He also said he saw a giant boa in the jungle and one of his teammate threw a grenade in its mouth when it tried to eat him. He estimated the boa was at least a 1.5 foot in diameter and close to 40ft long. It's was during the Vietnam War so I don't know if he was mistaken because off all the mayhem going on or not.
Can you tell me where he saw them in Vietnam ? I am planning another trip to Vietnam and hope to make contact with them to learn about them and to help them if i can.

Let's admit it, most of us here on TH-cam are living in urban areas. What do we know of nature or at least thick jungles? There are so many normal things and animals, that are completely alien to us, because we do not encounter them in our daily lives. Some of my school friends never saw a real cow (only in pictures), that's how far removed they're from nature growing up in "civilized" areas here in Germany. I love watching documentaries and i'm always amazed by the variety of life forms and noises they make in jungles.

In 1988, I drove semi truck. Had a load from Denver to Casper, Wyoming. Going up I-25, about 20 miles from Wyoming border I picked up a young Sioux male Indian. On his way to Sioux Res. He told me they had a bigfoot community near top of a mountain on the Reservation. It was a sacred space to them, so they never went up there. But every once in a while, a Sasquatch would come down and kidnapp a child cause there child had died. The Indians, (use to this,) would mount a search and recover mission, go up there and get the Indian child back. Now that's a story few have ever heard.

I know they wanted to free the world, save it, but killing civilians is just cruel (a lot of countries still do that). A friend of mine told me something like the 1 st story. In his story the V.C. Ran at his squad, one yelled in English run for your lives. And right behind them was what he called a Bigfoot. The Americans and V.C. Both opened fire on it until it ran. Then the VC gave up and asked to be taken out of the jungle.

I had no idea this video was going to be about the "Rock Apes" when I clicked this! I had a VA patient tell me about the "Rock Apes" 25 years ago. He said they were dangerous because they tossed large rocks at them. He stated they had to resist shooting at them because the soldiers did not want to give away their position. I assumed they were chimpanzee sized and never asked how big they were.
Also there were high up government officials who would threaten service men not to discuss these rock apes or else they would loose G.I. benefits & possible prison time too & no wonder so many were disfunctional when they came home from the military!
Creature? No. In SEA people who live near the jungle know that jungle is not only a resident for creature. When they want to go through the jungle they always do a blessing ceremony to protect them from something that lurking in there. In Thailand it called "Phee gonggoy" Phee means ghost and gonggoy is it's name. It's not an Animal/creature like Yeti/Big Foot. Well, people believe it's some kind of a demon.
@GazB ....I was trying to remember but I can't remember the title. It was basically the same concept but wayyyy cheesy. The alien hunted down humans with space weapons.
My platoon had a personal experience with more than 2 "rock apes" on back to back nites in an area we were unfamiliar with. We kinda discounted as some type of unknown ape @ the time. This video seems to lend credence to what the locals had told us. Surprise me!
The Monster named “ Chan Tinh” which literally means “Ogre” and looking like a tall big foot, speaks an old language and eats human, sometimes described it have horns, other said it looks like a giant python. They usually become the target for heroes in stories. I’m from Vietnam and my father told me a story about the creature, he said he once saw it while on the boat around 60s and 80s
yeah there was are story about an exscaped prisoner that live in the jungle for 20 years have trouble communication with human and acted in a very weird way.
There are two schools of thought when the topic of bigfoot or sasquatch comes up. One group believes them to be an undiscovered ape. The other (in which I am starting to agree with) is that they are more closely related to humans rather than apes. The native cultures around the globe that had stories refer to them as "people" not animals.
Sasquatch: ''Stop filming or I'll cry !'' Rock Ape: ''Certainly, there is no hunting like the hunting of man, and those who have hunted armed men long enough and liked it, never really care for anything else thereafter.''
When I was in the US Army serving in the Pacific Northwest my platoon Sergeant came back from the treeline, visably shaken. This was no small thing because he stood about six foot seven and was a veteran of the first Gulf War. He said something was following him that walked on two legs and was bigger than him. There were a few tales of soldiers encountering Bigfoot in the area. I never really believed them until that day. My father-in-law is also an Army veteran. He served in Vietnam. I'll have to ask him about Rock Apes.
Sorry guys. No new info on Rock Apes here. I talked to my father-in-law today. He says what stood out most to him during his time in Vietnam was the absence of animals, save for some huge lizards.
If the information in this video is true then I saw these “rock apes” several times. I have always accepted the explanation I was given at the time that they were orangutans but if orangutans were extinct in Nam, then I guess I’ll have to change my mind.
@@divyanshkesary649 What I’ve said above is really all that I know. If the comment about the Orangutans being extinct hadn’t been made, I probably wouldn’t have commented on it at all.
My dads platoon was the type of platoon that would go out for days. Some would go out and come back to the fire base on a daily routine. Not my dads. They would leave a fire base or FOB then patrol out to a pick up point sometimes days away. He told me that they encountered these Rock Apes several times. He said they were 4-5ft tall. They would set up on ledges and cliffs then hurl big rocks down on US and VC patrols. On several times his platoon would return fire on them. I remember him telling me a couple of different stories but didnt think anything of it until seeing this video. I wish I could ask him about it but he died Jan 2019.
My father was stationed at Cameron Bay during the Vietnam conflict. He and his unit had encounters with Rock Ape in the last few days of the conflict. They where actually coming to the beach in small groups.
They must have known in some way the Americans were being pushed out. The majority of the accounts are that the rock apes stayed away from the coastline. All the fighting in the deep jungle was in their home, it was vital that it stopped. They made sure the threat was seen off to the edge of their known territory. They had to see with their own eyes, they had to make sure the fighting would stop. Thats interesting, that shows a greater intelligence.

All the fighting in the deep jungle was in their home, it was vital that it stopped. They made sure the threat was seen off to the edge of their known territory. They had to see with their own eyes, they had to make sure the fighting would stop. Thats interesting, that shows a greater intelligence.
