Hello Crossfader, Question has probably been asked before. But here goes. Will we, at some point, be able to link CDJs to the Opus Quad via ProDJ Link? Ive seen a video release by Pioneer stating that this will eventually happen. Would be a let down to spend over 3K on such a great all in one and not have such an essential feature. Thank you.

This is a really great mix and showcases the new unit well! Loved the creativity! My only slight reservation with this new controller is where the cue buttons are located, for me I feel I would end up knocking the jogwheel and they are too fiddly to get to.
@@djcipher I used to be a Flightcase designer, just seems so unnecessary making this this so wacky. Very strange thing for pioneer to do as their normal quite conservative.
Great mix! I’m in doubt about the sound compared to a Xone PX5 or 96 with Denon SC6000’s players. I love the look of this Pioneer but sound quality is the most important for me.
Yes, very impressive. However, this is a radical break for another reason: one of Pioneer's main design "rules" has been that all of their higher end gear has a very consistent layout. That has meant that it's been very easy and intuitive to move between their controllers and separates: no need to relearn the layout when you move to a "club" system. But the Opus Quad throws all of that out the window. I suppose you have to break the "rules" in the name of progress but personally, I'm very skeptical of any gear that moves physical controls to a touchscreen or requires me to spend more time looking at a screen.
The Nexus layout has been around for 95 years, everyone and their cousin is familiar with that layout by now. I'm glad they're finally somewhat innovating.
Having a touchscreen means that there's room for extra features and controls to be added in the future, as it is a software defined control surface. Just like the effects knob no longer stops at the x amount of hardcoded effects but is continous, meaning more effects can be added.
@Robert K. All interesting points. For me, fiddling with a screen and a drop down menu to select anything via touch is fine when I'm *setting up the decks before a gig* but it's the last thing I want to do *while I'm DJing*. Other folks might like it.
Hello, i hope you guy can help me? I ordered my second opus quad, because the first one had an „broken Jog wheel“. Yesterday the second one arrived and the right jog wheel feels exactly the same. The left one spins like a pro but the right jog wheel is very hard to spin around. The jog feel is on both decks on the same place. Pls send help!
Let's take a closer look at Pioneer DJ's latest offering: the OPUS controller. This bad boy is causing quite a stir in the DJ community, and it's not hard to see why. The OPUS is like the Chuck Norris of DJ controllers: tough, rugged, and capable of delivering a knockout performance. First things first, let's talk design. The OPUS is as sexy as it is sturdy. It's got a sleek black matte finish that screams "I mean business," and a high-resolution touch screen display that's so sharp, you could use it to shave. It's like the James Bond of DJ controllers - stylish, suave, and always ready for action. Now, let's dive into the features. The OPUS is like a Swiss Army knife of DJ gear, with all sorts of gadgets and gizmos to help you rock the crowd. It's got a four-channel mixer that's smoother than Barry White's voice, and performance pads that are more responsive than a butler at a billionaire's mansion. And those jog wheels? Let's just say they're smoother than a freshly buttered slide at a water park. But wait, there's more! The OPUS also comes loaded with a range of built-in effects, from delay to reverb to filter effects. It's like having your own personal sound lab, right at your fingertips. And with two microphone inputs, two USB ports, and two RCA outputs, you can connect all sorts of devices and mixers to create the ultimate sonic experience. In conclusion, if you're looking for a DJ controller that's tough, stylish, and packed with features, the Pioneer DJ OPUS is your go-to. It's like the Bruce Lee of DJ gear - fast, fierce, and always ready to knock out the competition. So what are you waiting for? Get your hands on an OPUS and let the beat drop
No SD card, no slip mode = no loop rolls, no master EQ, no analysis at start, no streaming services at start, no proper performance pads, jog displays look ceap af, no magvel fader, etc... 3300€ for what? - but great demo from Crossfader that save the product.....

I know it's a grand more than the Prime 4 but it's almost worth it. Effectively you're buying a high end laptop with 5 screens and a completely custom user interface of jog wheels and pitch controls and buttons. It's almost worth it just for the smooth echo.
